"Well I'll go make dinner." Rita says with a smile. She enjoys having people to cook for. She always cooked when she was able to get home. "You don't mind do you Terrance?" She asks him.

"Welcome back." he says to JJ.

"That's up to you," Terrance said as he smiled, "I'm not forcing you to cook, we could just ordered Chinese or something."

"Thanks," JJ said to Kirin as he relaxed and then looked at Kent for a minute.

Kent was wondering if the other would come out at any time. JJ reassured him that it will be okay. That things will be okay and he won't have to worry about it right now.

"I don't mind cooking. I miss cooking for a crowd."

Kirin goes over and hugs Kent.

"Let me know if you need any of us to help in the kitchen," Terrance said to Rita as he sat back down and relaxed.

Kent hugged back and his cat ears and tail appeared. JJ yawned and wondered what is going to happen next, he knew things were calm but he just had this feeling Rachael was going to appear again. He didn't want to appear on the roof top she might be on to talk to her, but he knew she needed help. He also figured that Terrance might need help too. He looked at his hand and it made a mechanical like sound.

Kirin strokes his ears loving them. "It's going to be alright."

"You guys just stay out of the kitchen and let me work." Rita says with a smile as she heads back to the kitchen.

Kent smiles and waited for dinner to be cooked. He was thinking about calling that bunny waitress since he should had called her by now. Kent sighed and wondered if she was thinking about him.

Terrance stares at JJ's hand but doesn't mean to though. JJ's hand opens up and he fixes a few wires by turning his other hand into some type of tool. He doesn't notice that Terrance is staring at him. Terrance is just fascinated by the fact that all that technology can be in one person. After JJ is done his hands go back to normal and then he looks at Terrance, "Well I guess it's in human nature to have curiosity."

"Oh, I didn't mean to stare," Terrance said to JJ as he felt bad and couldn't quite make out JJ's emotions.

"It's ok, like I said before, it's the human condition." JJ said as he smiled, "Ask away if you like. No need to feel bad or anything."

"you should call her." Kirin says. "I am sure she'd like to hear from you."

Rita comes out after getting dinner in the oven. She stretches smiling. She enjoys this, enjoys there being people to cook for and be there for.

"Yeah, I guess I should," Kent said as he took his cell phone out and text her, "I'll call her later though, but at least I'll text her to let her know I am all right."

"Are you masking your emotions?" Terrance asked JJ, "If so, how are you doing it."

JJ looks at Terrance and kind of knew he was going to ask that question, "Well it's not that hard. If your wondering if I have emotions, the answer is yes I do. Just over my career I learned to mask them for the sake of my clients."

Terrance nodded and then kind of figured out what career JJ was talking about, but then again he wasn't going to assume.

"So what are we having?" Terrance asked Rita.

"I threw together a cassarole." She said. "you have a decently stocked pantry and fridge."

"What do you do for your clients?" Kirin asks.

"Yeah, I always make sure to have a well stocked pantry and fridge," Terrance said as he smiled, "if I am not going to be here for a while, I make sure to give what will spoil within weeks or months away, that way it does go to waste."

"I'm a psychologist," JJ said as he somewhat answered Kirin's question, "It comes with the trade to mask my emotions that way it doesn't effect my clients emotions or how I do my job."

Kent text the waitress and then looked at them wondering what they were talking about this time. Then he figured out JJ was going on about his work. He knew JJ's real name but only calls him by JJ though unless he visits him at work.

"That's pretty cool." Kirin says with a smile. "You know I'm really glad I met you and Kent." He is glad to have them as his friends.


"How are you holding up?" Rita asks Terrance sitting next to him.

JJ nods and then looks at Kent. "Looks like I am going on a date tomorrow," Kent said as he smiled, "Hope she doesn't expect too much."

"She'll expect nothing but the best, Kent," JJ said to Kent, "You wouldn't want to disappoint her."

Kent sighs and waits for dinner to finish cooking.

"I'm all right, Rita, just thinking about somethings," Terrance said as he wondered about his future.

"Congrats Kent." Kirin says with a smile. He is truly happy for his friend. He hugs him grinning. "So where you going to take her?"

"Alright you know I'm around if you ever need to talk. I'm going to check on the food. "It's ready guys." She calls after setting the table.

"I don't know yet, maybe somewhere other then the place she works at though," Kent said with a chuckle.

"Okay, I'll let you know Rita," Terrance said as he was still pondering on somethings.

Everyone gather to the dinning room table when Rita said the food was ready. Terrance sat down next to Kirin, while Kent and JJ sat across from them. Terrance smelled the food and smiled. Kent just wanted to dig into the food, then JJ had to remind him of his table manners and of his age.

"That's probably a good idea." Kirin says with a chuckle.

Rita serves them all and gets them drinks. She enjoys having this pseudo family to cook for, she wonders if she'll ever find a mate and start her own family. She lets out a soft sigh in the kitchen before going back into the dining room

Kent nods and sees the food. Then he waits for the drink and starts to eat. He munches on the casserole and stares at the dessert with edger eyes.

Terrance kind of senses what Rita is feelings but shakes it off that way it isn't noticeable in his facial expression or his emotional vibe. He then smiles happily and eats.

JJ is eating as well and thinking too. He is thinking about Rachael and hoping she isn't doing anything stupid. He sighs inside his mind knowing that she might be at bar somewhere drinking her troubles away. He knows that Rachael is going to be a tough case. JJ also looks at Rita and wonders about something but then the thought slips his mind.

Kirin smiles as he eats. He does wonder if he will ever be truly alright again. The thought of going out scares him to death. He keeps these emotions to himself as not to upset Terrance.

"So what shall we talk about?" Rita asks as the group eats.

Terrance was thinking of a conversation starter that wouldn't cause any trouble, but he didn't come up with anything.

JJ was eating and was thinking about Rachael. He wondered when he'll meet up with her again and what kind of relationship they'll have. Kent looked at JJ and asked, "What are you thinking about?"

"Not much," JJ said to Kent as he sipped on some Strawberry Lemonade.

Terrance then decided to kick start the conversation, "So anything good in sports? I hadn't had time to keep up with the sports teams lately."

"Well the Redskins aren't doing so well," JJ said as he sighed.

Rita smiles. "I'm a Dolphin's fan myself." she says with a smile.

Kirin grimaces. "I hate football."

Terrance munched on some more dinner and then wondered what else was going on.

JJ nodded and commented, "That's my second favorite team when the Redskins are losing."

"You're not the only one," Kent said as he whispered to Kirin, "I rather watch Hockey."

Terrance hoped his sister wouldn't burst in here but he had a bad feeling that she might. JJ reassured him that it wouldn't happen, since his sister might be at a bar somewhere. Terrance nodded and continued to eat dinner.

"Me too." Kirin says. "That or baseball."

"They're my favorite, though I could be partial since I'm from Miami." Rita says grinning.

JJ nodded and continued to eat his dinner. Kent text his future date with the details of their date as he drinks some lemonade.

Meanwhile, Terrance smiles and is glad to be with friends. He somewhat reads JJ mind but is then decides to let things be. He wonders if JJ kind of likes Rita or if he likes his sister. He just sits there and ponders. While pondering, he continues to eat his dinner, and then he comments Rita on the excellent meal.

"I'm glad you like it." Rita says with a smile. She starts cleaning up. Kirin stands and helps her. "How you holding up?" She asks him. "Alright, just the thought of going out... it scares me." He says softly. Rita hugs him tight.

Meanwhile, JJ asks Terrance a question and Terrance tries to come up with an answer.

"Well, I know Rita, but I don't know her that well per se," Terrance said as he sips on the reminder on his lemonade, "I don't usually go into peoples personal lives like that. Why don't you ask her. As for my sister, I wouldn't bother... She is a heart breaker, but it's your choice..."

JJ nodded and then said, "Tell Kirin and Rita I am heading off. See you later."

JJ tells Kent that he'll meet him home and made sure Kent brought his skate board. Kent nodded and JJ went off to see how Rachael is doing.

Kirin feels safe in Rita's arms. "What if I can't go out again." He says startingto panic.

"Shhh sweety, shhhh." Rita holds him tight.
