"There's a nice burger joint over there," Kent said as he started walking towards the burger joint, "or we could go to Five Guys..."

Kent remembered the last time he went to Five Guys, it tasted like grease but it was still good.

Terrance looked at his Rolex and then his smartphone to see when his press conference was. He sighed as he knew it was going to be soon. His congressional aide to him it was in twenty minutes, he better talk to his press secretary to see what he is going to say. Terrance knew what he was going to say, and his staff knew this was a good idea since it could mean that he wins reelection next time around.

"I'm cool with where ever." He smiles as they walk. He truly enjoyed spending time with Kent.

Rita had called her family to tell them the act had gone down. She comes back all grins. She goes and hugs Terrance.

Kent smiled and they head towards the burger joint. When they get there, he opens the door and waits to be seated. When they're seated, Kent looks at the menu and wonders which burger to get.

"The fries look good, I hope they put pepper in them," Kent said as he looked through the menu.

Meanwhile, Terrance hugs Rita back and smiles. "I'm glad that I changed my mind," Terrance said as he smiled, "I hope people will learn that we're all equals..."

Terrance looks at his Rolex and notices it's time for the press conference, "I'll see you after my press conference."

Terrance went over to the room where he was going to hold his press conference at. At the press conference, Terrance admitted the truth, that he was a mutant. The nation was shocked, Congressman Pace of all political leaders, a mutant. The quiet congressman smiled and said to himself, "Good job, Congressman Pace, you finally are being true to yourself."

While Congressman Baer mumbled, "I knew that guy wasn't 'human'. I knew something was off about that guy."

Terrance's parents saw the press conference later on and smiled. They knew he would tell the truth eventually. As for Terrance's political career, it might get rougher or might be easier.... Only time will tell. After the conference, Terrance walked off to the water fountain. Congressman Baer went over to Terrance and said, "You monster... you seem so normal but yet you're still one of them!"

Kirin looks over the menu. He wonders if they have a veggie burger. He smiles when he sees they do. He orders that with fries and a milkshake.

"So besides skate boarding what else do you enjoy doing?" He asks Kent.

"Back off Baer." Rita says. After Terrance is done at the water fountain she gives him a hug. "I'm proud of you." She says with a smile.

"They have all kinds of burgers," Kent said as he was deciding which burger to try next, "Pizza Burgers are good, but I think I might go with the lamb burger..."

Meanwhile, a kid inside the restaurant is crying because she is eating a lamb burger. "I am eating Lamb Chops, wah...." The kid cries.
The mother tries to tell the kid that the burger is no way related to Lamb Chops, but the kid still cries.

Back at Congress, Congressman Baer is now losing it. He has the urge to beat up Terrance due to events that happened in his past.

"You don't know what they are trying to do this nation, or should I say the world!" Congressman Baer said as he was now acting worst than a conspiracy theory guy.

The quiet congressman came along and started dragging Congressman Baer away.

"Now, now, this isn't the Japanese Diet, or to you the Japanese version of Congress." The quiet congressman said as he was dragging Baer away, "We're not having battle royal today..."

Terrance hugs Rita back and said, "Thanks, it took a while for me to finally be true to myself."

Congressman Baer mumbles as he is dragged away by the quiet congressman.

"Chase... why are you siding with him? Usually you don't side with anyone." Congressman Baer said as he complained, "You're always quiet."

"Let's just say you hit a nerve or two." The quiet congressman said as he knew Baer won't be around for long.

"I'm just glad they have vegetarian options." Kirin says with a smile.

"Man he's lucky Chase got to him first. I was this close to beaming him." Rita says watching as Baer is led away. Baer had a hit a few of her nerves as well. She is shaking a bit. Though she is glad to know her brother will be safe.

"Yeah, and I guess I'll get the lamb burger," Kent said as he smiled, "hm... Maybe I'll get a gyro instead. Yup, I'll go with a gyro."

A waitress with bunny ears came to their table and Kent was trying to resist the urge of just staring at her with heart eyes.

"What will you guys be having today?" The waitress asked.

"I'll have a gyro with sweet potato fries, and a Dr. Pepper," Kent said as he smiled.

"And what about you?" The waitress asked Kirin.

Meanwhile, Terrance was glad he wasn't going to get beaten up by Baer. He knew Baer was getting old anyways, but that shouldn't be the reason why Baer has issues. Terrance kind of knew why Baer had his dislike for mutants, but he couldn't convince him that it was just a few bad ones that were picking on him.

"Yeah, Baer woke up a sleeping giant, a quiet sleeping giant," Terrance said to Rita, "It's been a while since I heard him called by name, I mean Chase. Usually he is so quiet, he is just referred to as a silent one. One other congressman called him mute, till he realized he talked. That was when I was first elected."

Terrance smiled at Rita and then saw that girl again from the protest and from the state dinner. He sighed and wondered if he was being stalked.

"I'll have the portabello burger, sweet potato fries and an ice tea." Kirin says with a smile.

"I remember that." She says with a smile. "This is good for my family." She smiles.

She spots the blogger too and wonders what she's doing here.

"Ok, the drinks will be coming up shortly," The waitress said as she smiled and went to the drink fountain to get the drinks.

Kent blushed as the waitress walked away. He wondered if Kirin was going to slap him for blushing at the waitress. The waitress then came back with their drinks, "Ok, one ice tea and one Dr. Pepper," The waitress said as she placed them on the table, "your food will be here in a little bit."

"Ok..." Kent said as he blushed.

"Have you seen my... I mean have you seen Congressman Chase," Liz-Rye said as she smiled, "I saw the press conference streaming, I knew you could do it, Congressman Pace."

"Thanks..." Terrance said as he wondered why she wanted Congressman Chase, "I think he went that way..."

"Ok, thank you." Liz-Rye said as she walked off while texting on her smartphone.

Kirin can't help but giggle at his blush. "You like her." He says with a smile.

"So you want to go out for a bite to eat?" Rita asks Terrance after the reporter leaves. She felt she could tell Terrance the truth about her family.

"Yeah, but I am afraid she'll slap me if I asked if the ears are real," Kent said in a whisper, "I don't want to seem as a jerk."

As the waitress was tending to the table of the crying child, she asked if everything was all right. The mother said her child was just being unreasonable. The waitress pulled out a Lamb Chops puppet and made it talk.

"It's ok, I'm not on that plate, I'm right here..." The waitress said making the puppet talk.

The child smiled and started eating the burger happily. The mother was relieved that her child wasn't crying anymore.

The waitress noticed the food was ready for the other table, so she carried the food back to Kirin's and Kent's table.

"Ok, one Portabello Burger with sweet potato fries," The waitress said as she placed the plate on Kirin's side of the table, "and one Lamb Burger with sweet potato fries."

The waitress placed the plate on Kent's side as Kent was blushing. The waitress then commented, "Aw... you're blushing..."

Kent stopped blushing and started eating his lamb burger. Usually he would say, "Lamb Chops taste good," but there was a kid near them. So he behaved himself this time.

She smiled and then walked away to the next table.

Meanwhile, Congressman Chase bumped into his wife and he smiled at her.

"Let's go to lunch, dear," Liz-Rye said as she smiled.

"Ok, Lysette," Congressman Chase said, "Although you don't have to hide the fact we're married, I know you're trying to be 'professional', but you don't have to go to the extreme now. The bill has been killed."

"I know, and maybe I should try to be there more. As in engagement wise that is." Liz-Rye said as she felt bad now, "Or they'll think you're single..."

Congressman Chase laughed as they were walking past Terrance and Rita. "Relax, as long as you have that hyphenated last name of yours, and I keep my wedding band on, they'll know." Congressman Chase said just to see what his wife will say.

"Alan, that's funny." Liz-Rye said as she smiled happily as they were walking away.

Terrance looked at who just walked past and just scratched his head for a second or two. Then he turned around to Rita and said, "Sure, where to? I heard there is a victory luncheon somewhere around here."

Kirin smiles. "Thanks," He says. "I like your ears." He says.

"I know a great burger place." Rita says. "My treat."

"Aw... thank you, sug," The waitress said right before she walked away from their table.

Kent smiled and then went back to eating his lamb burger. After chowing down on the burger, he starts to eat his fries.

"Sure, that would be great," Terrance said as he smiled, "is it just me or did I just see the blogger and Congressman Chase walking out together."

Congressman Baer reappeared and said, "Nope... It's just not just you. They're married. That broad still has secrets about me."

"Serves you right, Baer," Terrance said as he started walking and didn't want to stay around to humour Baer, "So Rita, is it that Burger Place with the many different kinds of burgers?"

"You're welcome." He says before she leaves. He starts on his burger and fries sipping his drink.

"Yeah, I thought I heard him call her wife." Rita says before Baer comes up to them.

She rolls her eyes at him. "You really need to get over yourself." She says. By this time they've gotten to her Prius. "Now if you'll excuse me Terrance are headed to lunch."

Kent was finish with his food and burped. He said excused me and smiled. Kent looks through the dessert booklet and smiles.

"This lava dessert looks good," Kent said as he smiled, "mmmm dessert."

Terrance gets into the Prius and buckles up, after closing the door of course. "So, which burger place are we going to?" Terrance asked Rita as he readjusted his tie.

Terrance took out his smartphone to check up on messages from his office and it was just the usual. Terrance sighed happily and enjoyed the ride.

"How can you have room for dessert? I'm stuffed. Though I admit it does look good." Kirin says with a smile.

"Nothing to fancy." She says heading to the same place Kent and Kirin are. When she gets there she pulls into a parking spot. "They have great burgers here." She says.

"I saved room for it," Kent said as he chuckled, "maybe I should pass on it this time, if you're hinting that I am gaining weight."

Kent was kind of joking with Kirin, but was kind of serious too. Kent didn't want to have to buy new jeans or explain to his folks why he was getting "heavier". Kent's folks were a bit on the glamour side when it comes to personality.

Meanwhile, Terrance nodded and noticed the burger joint they were going to. "Ah... I heard of this place but never been there. I heard they have all different kinds of burgers, even a fried burger..." Terrance said as he wondered what a fried burger would taste like.

Terrance remembered back from his childhood his uncle that use to fry everything and anything. His Uncle Ronny use to fry vegetables even, and his mom told him not to eat all the fried food his Uncle Ronny would serve. Terrance listened to his mom after Uncle Ronny almost died of his habit. Today Uncle Ronny doesn't fry every single thing he eats.

"Yeah... I think I would pass on the fried burger," Terrance said as he waited for the car to be parked to get out of the car.

"No of course not." He says blushing. "I would never suggest that." He pauses a minute. "Maybe we could share a dessert."

"I would never try the fried burger, sounds disgusting." Rita says getting out of her powder blue Prius. "I hear they have some wonderful veggieburgers." She says as they walk inside.

"That sounds good," Kent said as he smiled and then had hearts in his eyes as the waitress came back to their table, "we'll like the molten lava cake with ice cream."

Terrance walked into the burger joint with Rita and they were taken to their table. The host handed them their menus and told them someone will come to serve them in a little bit.

"Hm... the veggie burger looks good, but that steak burger is calling my name," Terrance said as he noticed it was a deluxe steak burger.

The waiter came to their table and noticed Terrance eyeing the steak burger, "Would you like to try it fried, sir?"

"Why no thank you," Terrance said as he let Rita put in her order first as he was debating between the sides.

"Excuse me miss, may I ask you something?" He asks before the waitress can leave. He knows how much Kent wants to know if the ears are real or not.

"I think I am going to go for the bison burger." She says with a smile. "Oh or the salmon burger. Why must there be so many good choices?"

"Sure thing," The waitress said as she smiled and then looked at Kent, "Aw... does your friend like me and he is too afraid to tell me? Is that it?"

Kent blushes even more and tries to hide the blushing behind something, but fails at it.

The wait nodded and suggested the Salmon burger, "I suggest the salmon burger for today, since it is the chef's special."

"Hm... that sounds good," Terrance said, "I might have that instead but the steak burger is still calling my name."

Terrance flipped through the menu and saw the deer burger. Terrance's eyes lit up and he remembered eating a deer burger once, although it was a sad memory because he thought he was eating Bambi at the time. He still ended up eating the burger anyways because his Uncle Ronny told him, "You better eat that burger or no fried cake."

"Well that two. We were also wondering if you ears were real." Kirin says. He chuckles a bit at Kent.

"How about this I'll get the salmon burger, you get the steak burger and we'll split them." Rita suggests. "Though I'm going to have an iced tea to drink.

The waitress looked at them but then she looked at Kent. "I'll put in your dessert order and it will be here shortly," The waitress said as she smiled. Although the expression her ears showed a different expression. The waitress walked off to put in the dessert order.

"I think she's going to spit in my dessert because of my curiosity..." Kent said quietly, "I knew of a fast food guy that spit in my onion rings all because I liked his horns."

Kent now felt bad, not only because he might have hurt the waitress feelings, but because he put his friend up to it. Also he didn't want his friend to have the experience he had before.

The waitress came back with their order. The lava molten cake had two heart shaped scoops of ice cream on it, and it was drizzled with a caramel and chocolate syrup. There was also some hearts drizzled somewhere in between.

"I'm sorry," Kent said as he didn't mean to be rude, "I just thought..."

"Don't worry about it," The waitress said as she smiled at them and placed a piece of paper on the table near Kent, "just enjoy the dessert."

Kent nodded and grabbed the paper as the waitress left.

"That sounds like a plan," Terrance said as he picked out his drink, "I'll take the steak burger with a Sprite Zero, if you don't have Sprite Zero, then I'll take a Mello Yellow. Also instead of fries as the side, I'll like a salad."

"Ah... which salad? Greek or Caser, or Apple?" The waiter asked as he took the rest of the order.

"I'll take the apple cranberry." Terrance said as he handed the menu back to the waiter.

"Very well," The waiter said as he wrote that down, "Will that complete the order?"

"That's horrible." Kirin says. "I guess I shouldn't have asked. She comes back with their dessert. "So what's on the paper?" He asks after the waitress leaves.

"I'd like sweet potato fries with my salmon burger with your spicy dipping sauce." Rita says. "That will complete our order.

"It's her number and Facebook," Kent said quietly as he smiled, "I think she likes me too."

"Oh, I forgot, what dressing do you like, sir?" The waiter asked Terrance as he wrote down the rest of Rita's order.

"I'll like apple vinaigrette," Terrance replied, "Thanks."

"Ok, I'll put your order in and it will be here shortly." The waiter said as he went off to the put in the order.

The waiter came back with their drinks and then went to attend to other customers.

"Hm..." Terrance said as he was thinking.
