Kirin looks over seeing Terrance. He breaks out into a huge smile. "Terrance is here... I am going to say hey, see how the vote went." He says to Kent.

Rita watches him. "I'm really glad you voted against the bill." She says. "It means a lot to me and my family."

"Ok," Kent said as he smiled, "Let me know if the bill was killed or not."

"So am I," Terrance said as he relaxed, "My political career would have been in danger if it was passed. Maybe other politicians would have been in danger too. Also I realized it would have hurt a lot of families."

Terrance then thought about his sister for a minute and sighed, "Yeah... I'm glad the bill was killed hopefully there isn't a counter bill or anything."

Kirin goes over to the table and hugs Terrance from behind. "Hey love."

"Yeah... your family as well. Hello Kirin." Rita says with a smile.

"Hey." Kirin says. "So did the bill pass?"

"Nope." Rita says with grin.

Terrance hugs back and greets Kirin, "Hello there, Kirin."

"Yeah the bill was killed off," Terrance said as he smiled, "now we can go back to my folks with great news. Hopefully my sister is happy per se."

Terrance wondered if Rachael was still the snob she was and if she had learned any better since that day. Hopefully for Terrance's sake she changed for the better.

"At least most of your family cares about you. My family, if they know, are probably pissed off. "Rachel scares me." Kirin admits.

Terrance sighs and recalls some childhood memories. Meanwhile Kent finishes off all the dessert since he thinks Kirin isn't coming back anytime soon.

"So, who are you here with?" Terrance asked Kirin, "Is it Kent? Did he finally find true love?"

Meanwhile an older model is at the bar stool section of the burger bar eating a deer burger. She reminisces about her brother. A guy tries to hit on her and she knows his flaws already, so she tells him to bug off.

"Yeah and I should get back to him. I'll tell you about his love life at home." He says kissing Terrance's cheek. "I'm back. The bill got killed." He says. He sees the dessert is gone but says nothing. He could always come back another time.

Rita is trying to figure out how to tell Terrance about what she wants to tell him.

"That's great," Kent said as he wiped his face with a napkin, "Sorry about the dessert, it was really good though."

Kent smiled and waited for the check to come.

Meanwhile Terrance kind of knew what Rita was going to say but not really. "Hm... how is your family doing?" Terrance asked Rita, "I don't hear you talk munch about your twin. Then again I don't talk much about my sister, but I think y'all have a better relationship than us though. I'm not trying to strike a nerve or anything, Rita... I'm just saying. I do apologize if I offended ya'."

Terrance southern accent gotten a bit stronger as he was a bit nervous about striking a nerve with Rita.

"It's alright." He says. Though if he were honest to himself it wasn't but he refused to cause a scene or hurt Kent.

"There's a reason why I don't talk about my twin much. My twin is a mutant. That's why I pushed so hard for this bill to go down. My brother is my best friend and I didn't want to loose him. That and he's the only family I have left." She says.

Just then the waitress brings their food.

"I can order another one," Kent said as he felt bad, "I promise I won't eat the next one. Really, I do."

Terrance nodded and noticed the food was brought to them. He thanks the waiter and then said to Rita, "I didn't mean to be phony back then, I was just trying to blend in. It really didn't work out at the end, oh sure I had friends but false ones. Baer was just a jerk. I hope that other guy or person beats him."

Terrance cut his burger in half and started to eat his half. He smiled and realized it was good.

"Nah it's alright. I can't eat a whole one anyway." He smiles.

"I called my family they saw your press conference and my twin wants to meet you. " Rita says with a smile. She cuts her buger in half as well starting to eat as well. It was perfect. "I hope he doesn't get back in either."

"Oh, ok," Kent said as he put his credit card in the check folder, "This one is on me this time."

"Your twin really wants to meet me?" Terrance said as he was surprised, "When people meet me, half of the time they have rude things to say to me. Maybe now they won't or maybe they will. I hope not. I'm not like all politicians."

Terrance took a few bites of his salad and wondered what his political career will be like now.

"alright." He smiles. Terrance had given him money for today but he wouldn't argue with free food.

"Yes he does." Rita says with a smile. "I should warn you though my twin is very eccentric." She grins. "Are you worried about your political career?"

Kent smiled and then signed the receipt. He got up and stretched.

"Yeah, I am." Terrance said as he drank some Sprite, "Some of my voters will be glad, while the Anti's will be displeased."

Terrance already knew what the anti's were grooming a new candidate to run against him for the next election. Terrance sighed at that thought and knew he had to keep his seat in congress.

"So where to now?" Kirin asked, he really didn't want the day to be over.

"Well for what it's worth, you have my families support." Rita says. Her dad owned his own multimillion dollar company and her mom was amazing in her own right.

"I don't know, we skate boarded and ate..." Kent said as he took out a small list, "We could skate board around the capital. Then yell at those suits."

Kent's plan was to skate around DC and yell at random business people or political figures, but mostly political figures though. He had a few that he really wanted to yell at. The president wasn't on the list, since he knows he would be in jail if he did that. He remembered what they do to cat boys in jail.

"Thanks, Rita," Terrance said as he smiled, "Although the voters back home will have to have my back though. I think they'll change their hearts. Once they realize I am not all that bad."

Terrance handed Rita her half of the burger and continued to eat his salad.

"I guess we could do that." Kirin says with a smile.

Rita smiles as she continues to eat. "When you get some time you and Kirin will have to come to South Beach and visit us."

"Well, the bill is paid," Kent said as he got up, "Let's go."

Kent grabbed his skate board and walked out the door. He waited for Kirin outside, he wondered if Kirin was going to say later to his partner or as Kent calls it his dad. Although Kent keeps that comment to himself, he knows what to say and what not to say. A random guy asked Kent for a cigerette and Kent said, "Sorry man, I don't smoke. Try the skater over there, he might have some."

"We will do that," Terrance said as he smiled, "I always wanted to visit Miami, although I heard from another congressman in a close by district that South Beach...The whole city of Miami Beach, I mean is nicer."

Terrance munched on the salmon burger and smiled. He checked his smartphone and looked at some of the e-mails and text messaged he received. He put his phone away after looking a few. He didn't want to reply to them while at lunch, since he didn't want to be rude.

Kirin heads out. "Let's go." He says smiling. He's glad to have a friend. He follows Kent as he takes off on his skate board.

"South Beach is a unique place." Rita says with a smile. Soon she's finished her food and just sips her drink.

Kent keeps skating until he gets to the capital. Although he has the urge to skate everywhere, he knows when he is pushing the law. So instead he starts yelling at political figures. The first one that passes by is Congressman Chase. He wants to yell at him but then he sees a tall lady with him.

"I'm afraid to yell at that suit, his lady bodyguard might beat me," Kent said as he shivers.

Liz-Rye turns around and looks at Kent. Then she turns back to her husband.

Kent shivers in his boots and literally too.

Meanwhile, Terrance finished his lunch as well and was too full for dessert. He looked at the menu just to see what they had. He smiled and said, "I never been to South Florida, but I been to Disney World once." He chuckled and then saw a bunny waitress. She looked at Terrance and was afraid of him for some reason.

"Oh he's nice. " Kirin says. "Hello Congressman Chase." He says smiling and waving. He wonders if he'll be remembered.

"She must not have seen your press conference." Rita comments seeing that the waitress seems afraid.

"Nooo... he's coming this way," Kent said as he was afraid of most congressman people, especially Baer, "and so is she... wait, she looks a bit young to be his bodyguard."

Congressman Chase walked over to where Kirin and Kent are at. "Hello, how are you guys doing?" Congressman Chase said as he smiled. Liz-Rye just smiled at them and then munched on an apple.

"Yeah or maybe it's just the southern in me," Terrance said as he felt her fear and then sighed.

The waiter came to the table and asked if they wanted dessert.

"I am not sure," Terrance said, "What would you recommend?"

The waiter looked at Terrance and was trying to come up with an answer, "Well the molten lava cake is good, or the brownie sundae."

"We're doing good sir. How are you today? Did you enjoy the state dinner?" Kirin asked with a smile.

"Or it could be she knew of you before your change of heart." She says with a smile. "Oh those both sound good but I couldn't eat another bite." Rita says.

"That's good, I am doing well," Congressman Chase said as he readjusted his glasses, "The state dinner was great, just was feeling a bit ill that day."

Then he turns to his wife and says, "Would of been nicer if you were with me, dear."

"I know, RJ," Liz-Rye said as she wanted to be with him that night but didn't want to ruin his political image, "Next time I'll be with ya', I promise. I'll leave the blogging to Kevin."

Congressman Chase nodded, then turned back to Kirin and Kent. "Your friend doesn't have to be afraid of all congress," He said.

Kent stops shivering and then said, "Uh... Baer and his Anti-Crew are the reason why. They're trying to hurt us, as in us... I mean the mutant population---" He bit his tongue as he knew he didn't want to offend Kirin or get the quiet congressman mad. He was going to finish off his sentence on how the government wants to get rid of the mutant population. Maybe Kent been around his uncle too long or maybe he hung out with the radicals too much.

Terrance agreed with Rita and then said to the waiter, "Unless you have a kiddie size dessert, then I guess I'll have to pass. I am stuffed."

The waiter laughed for a bit and got back his composure. "Oh, you're serious... Unfortunately we don't, sir." The waiter said, "I'll bring you your check right away."

The bunny waitress went over to her co-worker and whispered without trying to make a scene, "You shouldn't had laughed about that. That's unprofessional. If the manager saw that, you'll be fired. Those are members of congress!"

The waiter then looked at the bunny waitress and said, "What? He looks like he has room for more."

The bunny waitress sighed and took the check out of his hands. She went to Rita's and Terrance's table with the check. "I'm sorry about the behavior of -insert server's name here-, as a token for dining with us, you get five percent off your purchase."

Terrance wasn't going to report the waiter, even though he could have been a bit more polite.

"Not all congresspeople are like that Kent. Terrance isn't, and Rita isn't." He says to his friend. He turns back to Congressman Chase. "I hope you are feeling better." He says honestly.

"Oh it's no problem." Rita says, planing on paying the full amount. She smiles. "I have to admit it was kind of funny." She grins in Terrance's direction.
