@Cherry- we must read very different books then lols.

1984 sounds to me a very historical genre... O_O

it sort of is, and sort of isn't.

It isn't, it's a futuristic (it was written in the 40s) dystopia of sorts where the country is run by a totalitarian government, and independent thought is basically a crime.

So it deals a lot with thought, rebellion, secrecy, the way history and people can be manipulated, and people who are generally easy to manipulate. It's a phenomenal book by a phenomenal author and Cora should try it again sometime when she's not being forced to read it. :P

1984 gave me alot to think about when I read it and I enjoyed it a lot :D

Mariaria should look back to the Watt... XD lol. As time pass, you might see things differently.

I liked the other Orwell book, Animal Farm.

Maybe I should try it again.....its been like 9 years...

my parents used to have one here - it was soooo nice after a stressful work day to come home to it - but it broke, they fixed it, it broke again, they fixed it, it broke again, they gave up D:. it was one of those "portable" hot tubs...

Seriously need to find someplace that has one - so nice....sooo niiiice <333 When I went on the cruise with my parents a few years ago - i spent the entire cruise in the dang hottub XDD

I remember my once cruise... a rather lame one due to its journey, I think it took 3 days and 2 night. Purposely went to another country to sail back to my country then make a Uturn back to the port... I felt lame also for paying to travel to another country. But oh well...

Undeniably, it was fun! I widen my eyes and see a lot of things especially that is my first encounter with casino... I was underage, but still I can peek from outside. Casino is a no no in my country. Muslim dominated! D:

AND what coincidence! Alexlex! I just happen to turn on TV and saw Project Runway 2 or 3 times this week...amazing, because I never know when is its time. XD

I got to meet Cristian Siriano - the winner of ...cycle 4? of project runway - loooove watching that show!!! So inspiring!!

and I've been on a couple cruises growing up - my parents never had a lot of money but they have stressful jobs and so they try to save up to go on a vacation...even if it's a weekend vacation...once a year if they can. Some years they can't manage it and others they can.

I was younger when I went on my first so it was more kid stuff that I did...this time I was an adult and got to go to the adult pool/hottub/beach/etc - so relaxing XD

Maria, I can't stop drooling over those trench coats... both the male and female ones. They're gorgeous!

so yeah. It'd be nice if Jelly spearheaded it, or some other person with the ability to update the shop.

The winner of every round's outfits could be put up in Synergy, and all the outfits made by the final winner could be as well.

haha poor jelly always getting pinged to my thread...

You can post it in the about pixels thread and ping here there - and see what everyone else thinks too while you wait for her to reply?

It does seems to be a more viable one... as it kinda shortlist into a few items and every one have a set deadline at a time. Jellyly do not need to pop in various time to check.

I seem to remember some staff mention something about these item contest... in terms of why it is not continued... sounds negative I remember. but anyway, we can try.
