It's a gorgeous day here...everybody's out planting flowers.

I'm sitting inside, watching my hubby plant herbs outside...

Nope. They're in pots.

So when we travel in the summer, we can take them with us in the RV.
Then we always have fresh herbs on hand...

That's sounds like a great idea.

My favorite is basil.

I don't usually use herbs but fresh herbs are really nice.

Hubby is the "chef" of the family.
Fresh herbs are a MUST for him!

haha My boyfriend can't stand "green pieces" in his food. This is also a guy that would never eat a salad unless it's some loose interpretation on one.

It's the green pieces that make it tasty!

Don't forget to bring them with you... i forgot mine last summer and felt so bad when I came home to withered plants :gonk:

The poor plants that we leave home we put where they can be watered by the sprinkling system.

I had the tiny spices pots and they were inside in the kitchen window... :(

Our herbs grow to be huge.
You have to keep cutting them down.

I'd like to have a nice little garden. ^^ I wonder if they will have things for that here...

We'd also love to grow red bell peppers and tomatoes.
Those take larger pots though...

aww that sounds nice, jean. it's too windy today and we are in a frost advisory for tonight. i wanted to plant some more flower bulbs but i'll have to wait till tomorrow or something. :( we did finally get a stupid mailbox put up.
