You DON'T want to look slutty, but you want a heart on your butt or a naval ring? I hope you can pull it off... everyone I've seen/known with a naval ring and a butt tattoo are big sluts.

I've redecided. I want the head of a baby white tiger put onto my wrist. I have reasons, too! My close friends call me Kitty, and I'm beautiful and fierce like a tiger. Perfect! I just realized it when I saw it as a decal and I decided to put it on because I knew my friends would say, "Hey, kitty on Kitty." or something like that. But I really like it. It's cute. Especially on this spot. What do you guys think? And I may get the piercing first. I might just get another ear piercing. I'm not sure I want to get my stomach done yet.

Admittedly that was a bit harsh, Dia.
But yeah, I like your wrist tattoo idea better than a navel or butt tattoo. There isn't anything "slutty" associated with a wrist tattoo. But, like the other tat, give it some time since you just decided that that's what you want. You will never be able to completely get rid of a tat without some scarring and some serious pain.

I would definitely think longer about your tattoo before you get it done. You should plan it for quite some time. A good tip is place a picture of your design somewhere where it will always catch your eye. Leave it there for a year, and if you're not sick of seeing it, get it tattooed. I would definitely advise doing that for a tattoo on your wrist. I have my tattoo on my right wrist, and it always catches my eye.

I'm glad you found something you really like, but definitely hold off a bit on it.
Bucket's idea is a very good one! Test it out a bit before you decide if you really want it, or at least wait about a month or so and if you're still really passionate about the idea then go for it.
Just make sure you're not gonna regret it a year from now!
Also, just remember with wrist tattoos that they are easily seen, and just consider whatever profession you want to do in life, and make sure it'll be acceptable or that you can easily hide it if need be.

I honestly would get both... I have 1 piercing and 2 tattoos, i enjoyed getting both. Tattoos are permanent, but piercings aren't, if you don't like it take it out, it will close eventually, epecially in the first 3 months. Tattoos I prefer to have my own drawings (or my brother's drawings) on me, mostly because unique art is way better than the stuff you find on the walls. Both were painless, to me at least.
Tattoo:
Pro
-nice
-if done well, you'll be happy to live with it for the rest of our life
Con
-takes awhile to heal
-aftercare really is the most important part to it
-it can get infected if you don't take care of it while it heals
-easily damaged (scratch/tear)
-expensive
-if done wrong, then you'll hate it for the rest of your life... Or until you remove it
Advice:
-keep it clean and moisturized (I suggest Aquaphor)
-be sure you research what you want and know what it means
-do not get your lover's name
-if you're going to get a character (kanji, etc.), be sure you know what it is...
-be sure you research the tattoo parlor and artist
-most places are clean, but you have to be sure it's sterile
-most artists have specialties (ie. animals, fairies, etc.), find out which is best for what you want
-place it somewhere you can hide it when you need to look professional (such as back, shoulder, thigh, etc.)
-RESEARCH RESEARCH RESEARCH
Piercing:
Pro:
-Cheap
-quick
-if you don't like it, you can take it out
-looks good and can accessorize
Con:
-can be easily infected, must constantly be kept clean (even after it heals)
-can be snagged on things (yes, it hurts)
-may get ripped out
-can close up if removed too early or for an extended period of time
ADVICE:
-like tattoos, RESEARCH RESEARCH RESEARCH
-piercings are easier to hide than tattoos, but could still be shown off, just be careful who sees it (such as boss, parents, etc.)
-(I had no problem showing mine off, but I'm not really allowed to have it)
-remember, to keep it clean
-remember to watch out for it while horse playing
