Doesn't the 3ds have the option to turn off the 3d?

Alice: It broke my heart to find out. I'd lost a good bit of weight and figured I was improving. Then a bunch of heriditary problems hit me.

Keyori: Yush! I have a boyfriend. He's awesome.

Flink: Yeah you can turn off the 3D, but that kindof defeats the purpose (even though it extends the battery life xD)

Maybe I'll ask hubby for one for my birthday. We're debating replacing our Xbox right now because it's crippled and old and the optical drive is slowly dying. It was a first-gen that has definitely seen better days. We like the shiny new black ones, even if we don't get a kinect (which I don't particularly desire, but would put my sorry butt into shape). But I really really REALLY want to see my dad, so we might do that instead of replace the Xbox even, especially if I don't get employed soon.

XD I don't think turning off the 3D defeats the purpose at all. At heart, it's still just a handheld gaming platform.

Also, does anyone here like Rise Against? I have a reason for asking this. :ninja: I'm going somewhere I swear.

And Flick, did you see that I retroactively replied to you by editing my reply into my last post? Your post didn't load in real-time until after I'd already hit the Post button.

Gah! Double post. :(

I like Rise Against... why?

They were testing for different things since I now have insurance tht pays for lab tests. :) I lost the weight by changing my eating habits. Going to start walking after work when my heel stops hurting constantly.

I asked if anyone likes Rise Against because, on their newest album, they have a song that directly calls out homophobia and oppression of the LGBT community. It's very...powerful.

I love Rise Against. They're such sweeties and I like how they actually mean what they write too.

Rise Against - Make It Stop (September's Children) - Lyrics(on-screen) - YouTube

Then everyone who hasn't already heard it needs to listen to this song after their new album that came out last year.

Good morning everyone.

I love my 3Ds. It does have the option to turn off 3D, which is nice if you start to get a headache or something, which I'm prone to. But I was actually really impressed by the 3D, it looks cool. If you hold it at the right angle, anyway.

Agreed, Kitschy. I adore the 3D. Unless I'm playing a regular DS game, I pretty much never turn off the 3D. XD

I miss my games. My ex took most of my gaming systems when I left her.

We were together for years so I ended up buying a lot because she wanted them too so when we broke up instead of arguing over who owns what I just let her take everything. She was and still is pretty spoiled and just as stubborn as I can be.

D; I'm sorry. That's pretty lame. You shouldn't have just let her have them. :/

Yeah, I shouldn't have let her get away with a lot of things but it was kin d of one of those things where it was just not worth fighting over. She taught me not to let people do things she did though so I guess that's one good thing about that.

Me either. I try to be nice to people and am told I'm too nice sometimes. It's a flaw of mine. :P

I am the exact same way. But in recent years, I've learned the difference between being nice and being a doormat. Now Alice sticks up for herself.

Same here. I used to let people walk all over me then realized that it's not a good idea to do that.

Arg...and now I'm super annoyed with my partner. o.o

Someone I'm "seeing". They just can celled plans last minute and they did it yesterday too so I'm not too sure what's going on. Kinda just want to not deal with that kind of stuff again. The way I see it is you want to spend time with me or you don't.

Yeah, they did that kind of stuff before so I'm just kind of giving up, I think. They know that I don't put up with that kind of stuff.

*ahem*
i'm a girl. and i like other girls.
i've been with my boyfriend for a year and a half, and i love him to bits, but recently i've been feeling more and more attracted to other girls. not to say that i'm not attracted to my boyfriend any more.
my close friends and i have been joking around about it for at least the last year, even my boyfriend laughs about it, but in the back of my head, i always wind up thinking "it's funny 'cause you guys think i'm kidding. i'm really not."
at a summer camp last year, there was a girl going round giving out free kisses to lesbians and bi's. she asked our group if we knew anyone like that and they all pointed to me, and this girl just kinda latched onto my face like an octopus. she tasted like strawberries. not exactly an ideal first kiss with someone of the same gender, but heyho.
i've never actually told anyone all this before.

 Welcome to the community. I'm glad you felt comfortable enough to come out to us here!

That's sort of a tough situation. D; Have you considered confiding your feelings into your boyfriend? Letting him know that you still want to stay with him, but that you've been feeling this way too?
