She's a bit crazy sometimes. XD That's why she always takes me to parties and clubs with her, I keep her under control for the most part. XD

MOON&MOONBABY!
whoopwhoop.

ugh, okay, serious topic for a minute.
Clock has a serious issue when people say 'no homo'
it honestly takes a lot to offend Clock.
but 'no homo' does it for Clock.
it's very negating, and really, what's the point of even saying it?
Clock just dealt with a person in another thread that used the term.
they didn't understand what was offensive about.
Clock just finds it very homophobic and offensive,
and just very unnecessary.
now Clock is just irritated and upset,
and no one is around, so Clock will disappear for the night.
._.

Dude, Clock, I totally agree with you. I have always felt that way. "No homo" is a retarded thing to say. Like. If I tell you I love you, then clearly I have enough respect and comfort with you to express my friendship love for you and assume that you won't assume incorrectly that it's in a romantic manner. Moreover, you should show the same respect and comfort to me and others, and you should not say "No homo!" then or any other time, because it is not a bad thing to be that way, so you don't need to reassure me, yourself, or others that you are not that way.
My favorite Youtuber, Meekakitty ( one of my famous crushes) made a video about that. She raised this very good point (paraphrased in quotes):
Quote:
|
Why is it people do that with homosexuality? Why does that have to be SUCH a hot-button issue that you need to reaffirm yourself and your others that you are not 'homo' all the time? We don't do this for anything else. For example, I don't say to my brother 'I love you, bro!....no incest!' Or to my dog 'I love you Clompers!...no bestiality!' Because that would be functionally retarded. As is 'no homo.'

I was feeling like telling my brother about my bisexuality, and he made some homo comment and I just froze. I honestly don't remember what the comment was, because I was just in shock he'd say something like that. :(
I'm just sick of hiding and not being true to myself. :(

I actually hate the fact that I have to hide my bisexuality from other people.
I hated my first ex for getting pissed at me just because I kissed a girl just for a dare. I'm just glad that I never got word of him ever again after my breakup with him.
And I temporarily broke my contact with a friend of mine just because she berated me for having a girlfriend, but we're okay now.
I ignored my other friend's boyfriend because he found out I was bisexual.
Those are just some of the situations that I had to go through just to defend my preference.
I'm just glad my professors in the Mass Communication Department in my university fully support me because 90% of the guy profs are gay and one female prof had an a lesbian encounter in her college years. XD
But there are still times that I struggle. Sometimes my classmates look at me differently whenever I mention that I have more girlfriends than boyfriends and that I prefer girls more than guys. Sometimes I want to cry over it.
I mean, it's just love, isn't it? Why can't they let me be? :I
Drama moment over, I'm okay now. Sometimes I just wish I'm back in a relationship. Sometimes I think I'll spend the rest of my life living with my girlfriend living in a house with three adopted children I'd name over Norse Mythology deities. If not then maybe get married to a guy then have three kids named after Norse Mythology. :D (Hey, I love Norse Mythology, don't blame me. XD)

ugh I hate having to hide my Bi-Sexuality, only a very small number of people I could count on my hand know about it, and the people I told I trust, but I don't make it hugely obvious when I'm with people, I just act the way I did when I thought i was straight. If people ask, I'm not going to deny it, I'll just say yeah, I am, if you don't like that then don't talk to me.
It's good the you have support from your professors, I don't think I could tell my form tutor that I was Bi, not that I don't trust him, but the awkwardness of doing it, he said that people have come out to him before so i say good on them, as long as they are happy!
Love is love, weather it be a guy and a girl, two girls or two guys, some people are just so backwards and need to accept it that it is common for people of the same sex to love each other.
My sister was named after a norse goddess! So go for it! As long as the other half agrees as well ;P

I dislike the term "that's gay" or "no homo" too. My ex used to say "that's so hetro" whenever someone would say "that's gay". I mean before she decided to be all weird and think being gay "wasn't normal".

Clock dislikes people in the LGBTQ community, who say things like no hetero or that's so hetero because that makes them just as bad as the people saying no homo or that's gay. and that's just the start of things that bother Clock about the LGBTQ community.
