Can I just cry right now? I'm sorry for being so melodramatic but I can't believe a "friend" of mine bitched on me just because I was too busy with college stuff to even visit him on his birthday.

He said I was being illogical, while I explained that there will always be a next year for his birthday while there cannot be a next year for my education. College is expensive too! I can't afford to take the subjects again if I fail! How would he know? He's rich anyway and he can just procrastinate since his subject load is few while mine is heavy and my professors are demanding. HE SHOULD HAVE UNDERSTOOD.

He's such a jerk... he's been making me cry over the past few days. I'll just vent out in the life issues later.

I'm sorry. :/ My girlfriend was sort of just in your situation...sorta. But her best friend had many many more reasons to be upset than it sounds like your asshole friend did, and much less reason to not go than you do. *hug* Your friend sounds like a douche.
