The hubs keeps telling me that if I'm that uncomfortable staying there then I should quit and we can just figure it all out as we go along, because he'd rather be me happy than uncomfortable. We may be strapped for cash for awhile, but we can make it through. ^_^

Hehe, my precious little one. It's just mind boggling to me that she's almost a year and a half! Time has just flown by!

Kirin, it's a Bachelor of Arts. I may go to grad school at some point in the future, but I really really can't afford that right now, and even if I could, school has me burnt out, and I understand grad school to be a thousand times worse than undergrad, so I'm gonna hold off on that.

Moon, I totally understand. I have a godson now, Ronan, and I can't believe he's almost a year old. It's incredible how fast things go!

Yeah. Also, I'm engaged now to the girl that I've been with since the last time I was active on here, so I figure if I'm gonna get married, I'd probably be better off going ahead and going to work. Especially since she IS going to grad school because you kind of can't do anything with only a bachelor's when you're in psychology. Nobody will hire you, at least around here. It's Master's Degree, Doctorate, or bust.

Congrats hon! That's wonderful! My hubby proposed to me Christmas Eve last year and we got married just about 2 months go - we eloped, but we're planning a party/celebration in November when we were originally planning on getting married. Neither of us could wait that long though. *laughs*

Oh, congratulations! That's wonderful!

I proposed to my fiancee last October, but we're gonna have a long engagement, and not actually get married until October of next year. We wanted to give ourselves time to become financially established and independent before we get married, despite both of our wishes to get married much sooner.

Awww, yeah, we were going to have a long engagement too, but we're both impatient people and hated having to wait. So yeah! But that's great though. Sometimes just play things by ear, but I really am so happy for you hon!

Thank you hon! His parents keep hinting that they want more grand kids. I keep telling them to wait and let us get settled in first. Heh. XD

And another thing that makes me love him even more, is that he knows I'm bisexual, and loves me despite knowing.

Awh yay! Good for him! It's always weird to me when people, both gay and straight alike, get turned off by their partners being bi, pan, etc. Especially in monogamous relationships (not that I'm assuming your relationship is or isn't monogamous). It happens all too often. And the media doesn't help, with having very few truly bisexual characters in books/TV/movies, and almost no pansexual characters.

Yeah, he's a good man. The complete opposite of my ex. And I don't get it either! He knows that I'm faithful to him, it's just part of who I am, and I basically told him up front if he couldn't accept that part of me, as much as I love him, there's no way I can be with someone who I can't be truly myself with. And he told me that it part of who I am, and he loves all of me.

I've never had a totally serious relationship with a woman, but I have been with women before, just nothing ever totally serious.

:] That's how I feel with my fiancee. She's had her fair share of curveballs that I've thrown at her since we've been together. Because first, I told her that I was bi, and she accepted that. And then I realized I'm not bi I'm pan, and told her and she accepted that. Then after being together for a year and a half, I told her I was transgender and thus am actually a woman, and she accepted that (though it was really hard for her to accept at first because she's straight). THEN I told her I'm polyamorous, but that it's okay because I'm comfortable being in a mostly-monogamous relationship with her (we're sexually open however).

And she loves me even through all of it.

---------- Post added 05-18-2014 at 01:16 PM ----------

And now here we are. We've been together for three and a half years and we're engaged.

That is wonderful that despite all the curve balls, she's accepted you for who you are, and you two are still together years later and engaged.
