So my friends are coming over (someday) for an animenight, so what im asking for is which anime i should watch.

We decided that we wanted to see something sad with comedy, and somethin short, not that long like Naruto. Lolz. But not really ecchi or harem.

I found 2 but i've already watched them:
-Angle Beats
-Night wizard

So could you help me? If not, just tell me what you think of the Angle beats and Night wizards. :D

Fullmetal Alchemist. It has everything from sad to hilarious to touching to meaningful to epic fight scenes. I love it.

FLCL. It's only six episodes, but it feels like an acid trip XD

Maybe try Mahou Shoujo Magica Madoka? (Unbelievably beautiful, kinda sad, and a real joy to watch)

Or for something seemingly plotless but unbelievably funny, you could try Nichijou ((Random as can be and totally funny)) or Daily Lives of High School Boys ((I only saw a few episodes, but they were HYSTERICAL and I definitely will watch more when I get the chance))

Solty Rei -- I cried, and I'm a guy
Sousei No Aquarion -- I love this one, again I cried...
The Wallflower -- I love this one

Those I suggest that are short... not really for an anime night though, 18-25 eps

Hetalia is a good one, the episodes are uber sort and you can stop watching it at just about any point and not worry about cliff hangers and it's hilarious. I guess for sad/hilarious, you could go for Chobits, but it's kinda long.
