Toshiro continued to walk through the double sliding doors that led into the innermost sanctum of the building. Glancing around on the various walls he continued to still be in awe by all the splendors here. Byakuya and the rest of the noble families really did have it good. Shaking his head he tried to make heads or tails of where he was going. He saw a nearby attendant, and soon the two of them were walking down the hallways making various twists and turns. Finally, the two of them stopped at a door."Master Kuchiki is behind this door. Let me announce you."Toshiro nodded and the servant said"Master Kuchiki there is a Master Hitsugaya is here to see you."Toshiro continued to stand there, wondering what the other would say to him.

Byakuya looks over at the door hearing one of his attendents annoucing Toshiro. He sighs deeply alittle fixing his yakuta abit before he steps over infront of the door "Show him in." he finally calls out. He was thinking on what to say firstthing he should do was to say sorry to him about what happen. So he would wait until Toshiro was shown in.

When Toshiro heard the other's voice from the other side of the room he flinched. He knew that he shouldn't be nervous, but something about the authoritative voice of the other made him hesitant. Clearing his throat he waited for the servant to open the door before he came striding into the room. He couldn't look the other in the face, so he had his eyes downcast. He knew what he wanted to say to the other, but how to go about it was another matter. He saw a mat sitting in front of a low table, and he shuffled towards it before sitting down on it. He still averted his eyes from the other. He knew that he was being rude, well in his mind he thought he was, but to meet the other's eyes would have made him regret his whole trip coming here.

Byakuya walking over at the table and sits down on the mat. "Hmm do you want something to drink?" says. It was right thing to say since Toshiro was a guest in his home. He place his hands on top of the table watching him. He takes a deep breath before he spoke once again. "Look I'm sorry for eariler...if you wish to report this to the head captain I'm not going to stop you. My actions was out of line and for that I am sorry." rubbing the back of his neck as he stares at him for abit. He really didn't know what the the male was thinking.

Toshiro continued to stare at the floor, but his head whipped up when he heard the other say that he could report him to the head captain. "I'm not," he began. He should report the other to the head captain, but another part of him didn't want to tell anyone that. Even another part of him wanted to throw himself into the other's arms and cuddle with the other. As his mind began to grapple with itself he began to figit on the mat that he was sitting on. "I guess I should be the one that is apologizing to you for acting like that when you kissed me." He brought his finger to his lips as he placed it on his lips thinking about the chaste kiss that they had shared earlier that day.

Byakuya looks at him and smiles just alittle bit. He just moves closer but not to close. "Well I don't really blame you..I just couldn't help myself and just acted on my feelings." says staring down alittle. Byakuya looks up at him as he wanted so much to pull Toshiro into his arms and kiss him again. Watching the man touching his lips as he smirks alittle bit. "Anyway..is this the reason why you bought yourself here, Toshiro?" says.

Toshiro could feel the heat practically radiate off of the other male, and he found himself leaning towards it. He naturally had a lower body temperature because of Hyorinmaru, so he relished any kind of heat source that he could obtain. Toshiro was amazed that the other male was being so open with him. He had never seen this side from the other male. Hell, he was pretty sure that even Renji hadn't seen something like this yet. As the two continued to sit there his stomach let out a small rumble. He turned his face, and blushed as he looked towards the floorboards.

Byakuya heard Toshiro's stomach growl and chuckles gently. "Hmm I supposed we should go downstairs and to the dinning room. I think the food should be done by now..unless you want the food to be delievered up here." says looking at Toshiro. He saw him close to him and he couldn't help himself but to reach over touching the man's face gently.

Toshiro looked up when he heard the other male chuckle. He could feel his cheeks beginning to burn with embarrassment. "I guess," he whispered out. "We can eat up here if you want to." He leaned into the touch of the other male when he felt him rub his face. He let his eyes slide closed as he inhaled deeply. The other male smelled of sakura blossoms. It must have been from his zanpakuto. Either way he loved the smell, and he began to nuzzle the other male.

Byakuya smiles watching Toshiro of course there was one thing he wanted to eat. He blinks and shakes away his bad little thoughts. "Ok..I call up the food then." leaning over and plants a small little kiss upon Toshiro's lips. "I'll be right back." pulls his hand back and stands up heading to the door to call one of his servents to tell her to bring the food up to his room.

Toshiro turned a redder as he glanced up only to see Byakuya look as if he was mentally undressing the other male. Gulping a little he let out a little squeak as he felt the other male brush his lips against his own. He quickly turned his head away because he didn't want to show the other male his embarrassment. Luckily, though, the other male had already gotten up to go find a servant, and tell them to bring up their food. He was famished. He hadn't eaten since morning, and even then he tended to not eat a lot. He didn't like eating a large meal for breakfast, well for any meal to be exact.

Byakuya watches his servant bow before heading to the kitchen to get their food. He closes the door and turns around his long raven hair flows as he turns before heading over to the table. "Dinner will be arrive soon." taking his seat. He runs his hand thru his hair abit to push it back alittle. Byakuya looks over at him "Anyway it has been quiet lately has it?" figuring he better start up something to say. "It makes me worry that something bad will happen. There has been less hollow sightings than we are used to. But at lease it is giving time to train the new recuits from the academy."

Toshiro glanced towards the door as he watched it slide open slowly. There was some brief talking, and then the door slid closed. Toshiro's stomach rumbled as he heard Byakuya say that the food would be served soon. Settling down next to the other male he turned his gaze on the other as he saw the other playing with his ebony colored locks. "I know what you mean," said Toshiro as he settled down next to the other male. "I don't mind it. I agree that it also gives us more time to train the new recruits." Letting out a sigh he thought back to his meeting with the new recruits for his own division. They were very rough around the edges, but they would shine bright soon enough. "Don't say that," said Toshiro as he nudged the other male playfully. "Nothing bad is going to happen." He didn't know if was saying that to convince the other male more or himself.

He watches Toshiro come over close to him. He couldn't help but to smile to himself some at this. It was still hard for him to just kissed him again cause Toshiro might freak out like he did in the woods. He got nudged by the male after hearing it "Yes you probbly are right." chuckles alittle and nudges him back playfully. Then there was a knock at the door. Byakuya looks over at the door "You may enter." knowing it was the food. The door opens and two servents walk in wheeling in the food cart. They head over to the table where they was sitting and sets the food on the table before they left after they uncovered everything. Byakuya grabs the chopped sticks and picks up some beef. "Eat as much as you want, Toshiro" looking over at him.

Toshiro smiled at the other as he felt him nudge him back in return. Toshiro was able to see a rare side to the other captain. Byakuya was always a stoic kind of man, a man of few words, but when he was around Toshiro he knew that the other could act like himself. Someone knocked on the door, and then it slowly slid open to reveal some servants with a food cart. His mouth watered as he looked at all of the delicious food. It sure beat store bought ramen. The various dishes were placed in front of him, and he grabbed a pair of chopsticks, only eating the rice at first after he saw Byakuya begin to eat. He didn't want to be rude, nor did he want to start gobbling down the food quickly. He didn't want to get sick after all.

He was glad to act more like himself. Byakuya had also been like this when his wife was still alive. But once after she had died he drawed back from everyone until now. He looks over seeing Toshiro had some rice on his chin. Byakuya reached out and picked off the rice from Toshiro's face. "So how is everyone coming along in your division?" says as he pulls his hand back. Byakuya moves his hand over and grabs the pitcher of water and pours both of them a cup with water. He then puts one infront of Toshiro before taking a sip from the other.

Toshiro thought over what the other had said as he took another bite of the rice that was in front of him. When the other picked a piece of rice off of his face he could feel his cheeks immediately begin to get warm. Turning his head away he brushed off his face mouth with the sleeve of his uniform. Clearing his throat, having half heard the other's question, he said,"To be honest. They are not doing so well. They are fresh out, yes, but still they have been under our care for more than a month. I don't know what is happening at the academy, but they are letting them graduate sooner, without even thinking of how they will do in actual combat." Letting his eyes slide closed he let out a sigh. "It really worries me sometimes about what the head captain is thinking." He glanced at the other. "I would imagine that you and Abarai are keeping your recruits in line. Right?" He then took a small sip from the glass that he was offered as he let the cool liquid slide down his throat.

Byakuya could understand how the students come out of the academy thinking they are all ready for battle. Was full as he pushes plate away. He folds his hands infront of him on the table "Yes I do not understand why head captain is letting them graduate so soon." sighs deeply. Looking over at Toshiro and nods "Yea I been getting alot of complains from other members in my squad because of the new trainees messing up during their training. So I had to take alot of action towards the new recuits..but I think I have faith in some of them. Some of the recuits already showing signs they are impoving. But not sure about the others." shakes his head abit. "Don't worry Toshiro..they will have to choose..either they go thru the right training or be kicked out."

Toshiro smiled as he listened to what the other male was saying. Byakuya was the word of reason in his psychotic life. With Rangiku and the other trainees constantly making him on edge, it was becoming increasingly more important that he found something to help him relax. At first he had meditated, but he was never one for meditation. His mind had a tendency to wander all the time. Then there was training. He loved training, but because it was at the training hall all of the recruits were there too. Byakuya was very blunt, to the point, in the manner of which he spoke, but oddly enough it soothed him. To others it would have seemed as if he was some cold, uncaring person, but for Toshiro it was music to his ears and the rock of his foundation. Taking another bite of his food, he thought for a moment before he said,"You know maybe we should spar together tomorrow. We could inspire our trainees to want to train more to at least grasp our kind of power." It was an interesting idea, and he was eager to hear what Byakuya thought of it.

Byakuya stands up and walks over to the window. It was glowing dark already and from the window some trainees was messing around during the last minutes of light. And he sighs deeply before he turns around hearing what Toshiro said. Moving back over and nods "That sounds like a good idea..its probbly would work. It would be better than sending them back to the academy." Looking toward his mountian of paper work. Already he had send back ten for more training at the academy. But he was waiting for the appove notice to do send the paper work in. He looks back over at Toshiro "Lets not hold back any but of course not using our Bankai. There isn't any chance they would make it that far. Of course Renji did." shrugged. "So it wouldn't be surpise one of them has the enought spiritual energy to do so. We just have to see."

Toshiro was glad that the other male agreed with him in their current course of action. He huffed a little though when he heard Byakuya say that they would not be using their Bankais. He had been training a lot with Hyorinmaru, and he had a few tricks up his sleeve that he wanted to show the other. "Very well," said Toshiro as he took another swig from his glass of water. He knew that he had a mountain of paperwork to do on his own. He also had a few recruits that he would need to think about thoroughly before sending them back to the academy. Getting up to his feet, he brushed himself off a little as he came to stand next to Byakuya. "It is getting quite late," said Toshiro with a yawn. "I do not wish to be rude, but I have my own mound of paperwork back at my office." Before he could even think of what he was doing next he had found that he had wrapped his arms around the other male. He had also let his eyes slide closed, inhaling the other's scent. Snapping his eyes open, he pushed himself away from the other as a look of shock crossed his features. "I'm sorry," said Toshiro. He took another step back. "I think I should go now." He didn't even wait for the other male to say anything before he went flying out of the room, and out of the complex.

Byakuya stands up once after Toshiro did knowng he had paper work he needed to help Renji with. "Alright I will see you tomarrow then." says before he knew he felt Toshiro's arms had wrapped around him. As he didn't stop him either but he notice Toshiro was shock about what he did. He really didn't mind while he was about to stay something but didn't get a respond since Toshiro had left so quickly. Byakuya walks over to the window and looks ot of it and Toshiro was already out of sigh. "So shy..and so cute..he remians me so much like her." says softly. He closes the window and turns around heading to his office to help Renji with the paperwork and tell him about what Toshiro and him had plan to do tomarrow.

Toshi continued to run until he was well out of the complex and on the dirt path. People gave him strange looks as he passed them. Why should they? He had just come running out of Byakuya's complex with his face all flushed. He slowed down as he leaned against a nearby pole. He let out another sigh as he shook his head as he tried to clear the thoughts that were running amok in his head. After he was sure that he would be able to walk again he continued on his way to his own barracks. The guards saluted him, he walked passed them, and then continued on into his office.

It smelled of sake and sure enough Rangiku was there drinking with another team captain. He briskly walked passed the other, grabbed some paperwork, and then left as quickly as he had come in. Once outside he decided that he would work on his own paperwork in the garden.

As he left the room Rangiku raised an elegant eyebrow as she drank more sake. She would need to talk with him later about his latest episode. Word traveled fast, and she already knew what had happened at the training grounds.

An hour or two later they manage to get most of the paper work done. Now it was time for bed since Byakaya needed to be well rested for tomarrow. As it was going to be the trainees last chance to get their stuff together or get send back. With this little spar between two great captains bound to move them in some way. Byakaya closes the door and yawns alittle before he turns off the lights then heads to bed. He rolls over onto his side pulling the covers over him while his mind goes over what might happen tomarrow. Byakaya closes his eyes before he falls fast asleep.

Toshiro glared at the offending paperwork in front of him as he let out a frustrated sigh. There was just too much of it. Maybe Rangiku could finish it up later tonight- scratch that tomorrow. Rangiku would be too far gone for the remainder of the day. He finished the rest of the paperwork denied some budgets. He got up from the chair as he walked back into the compound, placed the finished pieces of paperwork on the desk. He turned to look at Rangiku. She was passed out on the nearby couch. He let out a sigh as he brought over a nearby blanket and placed it over her still form.

He walked out of the room and to his own room. Taking off his uniform jacket, he walked towards his bed, and flopped into it. He drew the covers up to his neck as he snuggled his head into the pillows. His mind was still running rampant with the thoughts of the other male. He shook his head as he tried to rid himself of lingering thoughts. He was just interested in the other because he was good looking. He scoffed, he was no better than the screaming, giggling women that fawned over the other male. He let out a sound of disgust as he threw the covers over his head, willing himself to sleep. Tomorrow would be another day, and he aimed to give the recruits a good show, not to mention show Byakuya that the little run in that they had hadn't deterred him from training.
