As Toshiro eyed the other male as he let out a slow, steady breath. Calming his breathing down, he cleared his throat. He had admitted to the other male that he liked him. What he said to the other could not be taken back. Besides, did he want to recant what he had just said? No. Those were his true feelings, and he meant every word that was spoken. "I," Toshiro stammered, his breathing beginning to pick up again. He then noticed that the other male was wincing in pain. Had he done something to the other male when they were sparring or was it from their previous encounter with the Hollows? Either way he knew that the other captain was being brave in front of him. "Captain Kuchiki," he began. "Maybe you should retire for the rest of the day, or at least rest a little. Would you like me to go get someone from the medical squad. I am sure that they should be able to attend to you more adequately than I am able." What was he saying?! It made it sound like he was trying to make a quick get away. He knew that Byakuya would be able to see right through it. Toshiro was a prodigy as well, and he knew that Byakuya would know that he was trying to weasel his way out of the room. He was no medical squad member, but his healing was just as good, if not better, than theirs.

Byakuya place a hand on his side where the wound was. "No...I do not want to bother them. They have their own training to do." closing his eyes for an moment. He takes a sharp breath, before he opens his eyes and looks up at Toshiro. "But maybe you are right...I need to retire for the rest of the day. I'm sure my LT won't be happy, but he will have to live with it." Byakuya could tell that Toshiro was doing anything to get out of the room. It still hurts that the male was still un comfortable around him even thought he spoke the truth about his feelings. "Captain Hitsugaya, can you please help me to my room? Then you may go I'm sure you would need to look over your squad as well." Byakuya decide not to push Toshiro to much that he would end up losing him forever. Of course part of him just wanted to pin the young male against the wall and ravaged him until he screams out his name. He would do it too if he wasn't wounded.

Toshiro found himself letting out a sigh of relief when he heard the other male say that he would not be seeing any of the medical squad members. Why was he so happy? He should be getting away from the other man as fast as possible. He was the cold hearted protege. He shouldn't be acting like this. "Oh, okay," stuttered out Toshiro after he cleared his throat again. When he heard Byakuya ask him to help walk him to his room he felt a blush beginning to creep up upon his cheeks. He was going to be alone in the other male's room. A tiny part of him wished that the other male hadn't been injured earlier that day because he wanted to talk to the other male. He knew that the longer that he waited the harder it would get to tell the other male his true feelings and intentions.

Grabbing the other male under the arm, he began walking towards Byakuya's room. As they entered the others room Toshiro looked around noting that everything in the room was in its proper place. There were no other pictures or other personal items that showed any personality towards the room. It was as cold and clinical as the hospital ward. There was a futon already laid out and turned down. He swallowed as he stammered out," Should I help you out of your armor?" He had never seen the other male without armor let alone unclothed. With that last thought it brought a deeper blush to paint his cheeks.

He follows Toshiro trying not to put his weight on the shorter one but he had to lean on some. He stares at the floor some of his hair falls into his face. Byakuya looks over at Toshiro and knew he couldn't take off his armor on his own. He sighs lightly before he nods, he had to find some way to keep Toshiro in the room. Byakuya wanted to keep him close and he also could scent that there was something Toshiro wanted to say. "Yes I don't think I can remove the armor on my own seeing how bad the wound is. I should had took the day off after that hollow attack. But I can't show my men the weakness I am in." says calmly.
