Yeah. From what I gathered, the previously unused account with the @jensenackles username already had like 10k followers, and the moment he 'officially joined', his follower count exploded by several more thousand within the next few minutes of the news.

I was laughing at all the people going so hysterical over Jensen joining twitter, though after a while it got annoying when my dash was constantly being overflowed by the people reblogging his joining post over and over.
