I've actually been thinking up a strange little game... Something like a writing game, but with you as the character. You, being whomever the persons reading this is.

So what would this game be about, aside from it being a writing game?

Anyway, it's something like a scenario game. I have a six-sided die, and I write out a situation with several different possibilities. Whatever possibility you take will lead to a different area with either a good, bad, or neutral outcome. This depends on the roll of the die. One situation if it lands on a one or two, another situation if it lands on a three or four, and a third situation if it lands on a five or six.

I say no more writing, but once I get started, it's hard to stop. Haha.

Well I'm glad you find it interesting! It doesn't require a massive amount of writing skill. You speak as though it's really happening. For example: "I move to the door and check the handle. It's locked." Something like that. Since, you know, you play as yourself, except your name if you don't want to put that out for the world. A few edited details in appearance, but nothing too drastic. Not that I'd be able to catch a liar, eh?

The dice don't like you? I don't use dice unless it's for a decision. In this case, especially. So they don't have to like me!

I think the only think I'd edit about my appearance is that, hmm... actually, I don't know what I'd change. Haha.
If people want to completely edit their appearance, then why not. I'd describe my avatar. Haha. Shadowy demon, with a gentle soul, who also happens to like to paint in blood.

Well, sadly for you is that you have to be human. Nothing abnormal about you at all unless it's a human attribute that singles you out as unique and interesting. No non-humans this time! Change whatever you like about what you look like, your name, but you're human.

That's probably why I never succeeded at Craps. Luck hates me. But I find different uses for dice! Hahaha!

What game are you guys talking about?

I've been thinking about a situational-type RP in which I'm the master. I have a six-sided die and roll a random number, in which something happens. The characters react to each random happening, but sometimes I'll jump in with an action-reaction type deal in which when a certain character does something, it doesn't turn out in an expected manner.

I thought it was an interesting idea.

I was hoping it would be! The only problem, or two, is that I don't know if it'd belong in the RP forum or the game forum, considering it's a bit of both. That, and who'd play? It's a bit of an experiment, really.

You would like to give it a test run? I don't think I'd make it a real group thing.... And if I did it'd probably be an isolated thing, such as each person has their own combination of situations, and I'd focus on each in quote form.
