Sorry for not replying very quickly. Had a busy day yesterday.
So it seems like you already have a plot set up. Nova crashes on Earth and my character stumbles across him and is pulled into his scheme to get back to his planet?

My character's name is Ophelia. She is supposed to look pretty dull, kind of grunge, but she's still fairly pretty. She's weird and crazy about everything beyond Earth. She's quiet, doesn't open up to people. She's nineteen, going to college. Maybe she was out using her telescope when she sees Nova's ship crashing?

He dosn't have a ship, just him XD. Don't worry, he is very durable x.x. And that is fine but if she is nineteen, he is only about sixteen so romance by moco standards would be off the table really. Also, I am working on adding to him, so more will be added to his blog when completed.

I could make her a bit younger, if you wanted. Her age isn't set in stone. I've RPed her younger and older before. Romance isn't something I'm too worried about, but it is a nice element/option later on.

Sixteen or seventeen would be best if you want to use it as an element later on.

I think I'll drop her down to seventeen, then. I just need to think of another way to have her...not living with her parents.
I'm trying to think realistically xD if she lived with her parents, she couldn't run off with an alien or hide him in her home.
That's why I thought her being in college would have suited her so well. I don't want to make her an orphan, either.
Maybe she goes to a boarding school or something, and is teased there anyway, so she wouldn't care much if she had to run away. She could have an easier time hiding Nova there, too, if that is ever needed.

Sorry if I'm planning too far ahead XD I just want to make sure Ophelia is suited for this.

You could just make her a prodigy or something, say she graduated early or went to college early lol. Or maybe her parents travel a lot?

Oh, her parents traveling a lot is a good idea. I could go with that :3
