Sebastian Michaelis
---------- Post added 05-13-2012 at 06:50 PM ----------
Sebastian was hungry, and he knew he was in desperate need for a soul or two. He was out serching, sitting on a roof and looking out across London. There were pleanty of people running about, trying to get home before night fell. Women bustled about, shopping and getting food. Children ran around, playing tag and trying to see if they'd get away with staying outside after their curfews. It all seemed so peaceful and dreamy. All of those people, living without a care in the world. It made Sebastian smirk. Humans certainly were ignorant about some things. Particularly about the dangers they faced everyday without even knowing it. The demon serched harder for an appatizing meal, but saw nothing that suited his taste. He yawned and sat still, wondering how long it would be before he found someone vunarable enough to give away their soul. Surely their had to be at least one among this rather sizeable crowd. Perhaps a child? Children would give away anything for their way. It seemed a good idea, but he couldn't find one that was in need enough to make a deal. He was begining to get grumpy and more hungry by the second. Why was it so hard just to get a decent meal around here? He felt the urge to whine about his delimma, but the only one he could complain to was a small black cat who had somehow made his way up on this roof. It was thin and meowed at him in hope for food or affection. He stroked it's fur lovingly.
"Yes, yes my furry friend. I do understand how you feel. How hard must it be to find something as simple as a meal?" The animal purred in a loving way and he smiled at it in his normal, almost smirk like manner. He grabbed a holf of the furry animal and jumped down into the alley way below with ease and agilty. There he found a meal for his feline companion, but not for himself. This was becoming tiring and he might resort to eating human food if he hadn't any luck by tomorrow. That was an implesant thing for one to partake of, but really, had he a choice?

Claude Faustus
Liquid gold eyes scanned the bustling street below with utter un-interest. There wasn’t a single soul below that seemed to be worth any value to him. They all were of poor quality and what he wanted was something to quench his thirst. The souls wandering below were nothing, but filth to him as he peered down at them from the rooftops. He grew impatient with every passing day without a meal. He needed something before he resorted to means that were below him, such as human food or extremely poor quality souls.
He stood atop the roof peering down at the streets that were slowly emptying and he took a step walking off the side of the building. He landed swiftly as if it was natural and he took the time to adjust his jacket. He walked off looking about for something anything. There must have been some human in this bloody city that had a decent soul. The streets began to grow emptier as he wandered along aimlessly.
The scents of another demon drift into Claude’s nostrils as he walked about. His arched an eyebrow as his golden eyes narrowed. He made his way towards the scent, which was an alley way. He stopped in the opening of the alley and peered in at the figure of a man. “Well, if this isn’t a pleasant surprise.” His words were laced in sarcasm as he peered into the alley.

Sebastian was so busy talking to the cat that he didn't hear or sense the other one of his kind. The voice startled him and he tensed, whirling around to see another man with golden eyes. A low growl was emitted from the back of Sebastian's throat. He wasn't sure if he should be afraid or not. "What brings you here?" He asked with a fake charming smile. He'd see what he wanted before being rude. After all, why should he fight this guy off if he wasn't in the way? Who was he kidding though? This demon was clearly hungry as well. He was ready to fight if it was needed. He knew he must be careful. Getting injured would only make him more hungry. His best bet was to try and escape. He backed up and hit the wall behind him. There really wasn't much of a place to run in this alley. "What do you want?" he demanded and watched for any signs that the other demon might attack him. The little cat was curling around Sebastian's legs and then jumped up on his shoulder. It mewled, clearly not realizing the tension here.

Claude watched the other with a slight look of amusement as he talked to the felines that gathered around him. It was quite a sight to see a demon so attached to something. His eyes narrowed ever so slightly as he heard the growl that was emitted from the others throat. It was clear to him that he was starving, just as he was, though maybe more with the action he displayed.
He watched the display of kindness on the other demon's face, but offered no display of emotions back. He had no need for them at such a point, it was painfully clear that the other wasn't sincere with his actions.
His eyes followed every movement precisely as the demon tried to back further into the alley. He took a small step forward as he heard the other hit the wall. "I am merely here to see what was causing such a... Commotion." his voice echoed lightly in the narrow alley. "I did not come here with the intention to harm." Though if it did come down to it he would fight, but it seemed unnecessary. They both would be wasting energy for such trivial things.
// Sorry this took me so long. :headdesk: I had things for graduation today, so I've been out and about for the better part of the evening.

Sebastian wasn't sure what the other had meant when he said commotion. He hadn't thought he'd been very loud, but he was still a bit young for a demon and had much to learn about being unnoticed by others.
When told that the man had no intent to harm him, Sebastian relaxed his tense body and took a moment to look at his visitor. He was tall with pale skin and dark hair. His eyes were a plesant shade of gold and he wore glasses. Sebastian found himself staring a bit. The guy was honestly rather attractive. "What's your name?" Sebastian asked with a sudden curiousity. "I'm Sebastian." He offered, thinking it rude to ask ones name without giving his own. He was petting the cat and had leaned against the wall. He wasn't sure how old or experianced the other demon was, but he didn't want to appear weak. Looking weak would make him seem way to vunrable.

Claude continued to watch the other demon as he seemed to began to relax with the thought that he wasn't in danger. It seemed rather unnecessary to him to engage in pointless fights. He wouldn't gain anything from it, so he would avoid it.
"Claude" He muttered as he stared back into Sebastian's red eyes. It seemed odd to be conveying such things idly. Demons generally didn't join together for things like this, maybe it was the hunger that drove him to another's company. It didn't seem to matter though as long as he wasn't in any danger. He watched as Sebastian idly played with cat resting upon his shoulder. Cats had never been rather fond of him, or any animal for that matter. "You seem to be rather attached to that cat."

Sebastian paused when the comment was made. "I wouldn't say attached." He said, warning Claude to watch the way he said things simply by the tine of his voice. "I simply like cats. They're rather splendid cretures, don't you think?" He continued tp lovingly stroke the cat's soft coat of fur. Why should he care what this other thought? He wasn't going to try to impress someone who he didn't even know or care to know. They were demons and didn't normally keep each other's company. Somehow this was better than being alone though. He made a quick desicion and wasn't quite sure if it was a good idea or not. "Would you like to stay at my place? I curently am renting a property near here." He knew it was odd for a demon to have a home in this human world, but he found need for the shelter. "I can..feed you if you like, though it will have to be human food. I havn't found a good soul in quite a while. He didn't know if he could trust this 'Claude', but why not risk it? He hadn't attacked yet, and so he figured he'd be safe.

He slowly arched one of his eyebrows at the other demon's hidden warning. He hadn't intended to offend, but rather state something that he found odd. "I wouldn't know; they do not seem to care for me." He said as he eyed the cat. He had never taken a liking to animals nor them for him. He merely went his way and they theirs. "Though I will take your word on this."
The offer came as a bit of a surprise to Claude as his stood in the entrance to the alley. He stared back at Sebastian weighing his options. While, it seemed entirely out of demon nature to do such a thing, it wasn't a bad idea. He had nowhere to stay and wandering the streets didn't seem better to him. He pushed his glasses up with the tips of his fingers as he said, "I suppose I shall take you up on your offer." He didn't have much of another option other than to agree and it didn't seem like it was going to be of any harm to him.

Sebastian hadn't expected Claude to stay with him, and was actully glad for the company Claude would be. He walked, expecting the other to follow to the small place he called home. It certainly wasn't much, but he liked it better than the streets. He ushered Claude in and then looked at the other man for a moment. "You may have the bedroom, feel free to go make yourself at home." He knew that was another odd sign of kindness for a demon, but it'd be rude to have a guest sleep on the couch. "I'll be making supper. " he pulled on an apron and went to the kitchen. He prepared a meat and two sides. This was a normal meal in human standards. He was already half starved, and the smell of food make him shaky and unstable on his own legs. He hadn't realized until now how weak he'd become due to lack of nurishment.

Claude followed the other demon as he led him to his 'home'. Though he was careful as to not follow to closely behind, he kept a certain amount of distance between the two. He had never been one for keeping others company, but this seemed to be an exception.
Claude walked through the door as he ushered in by Sebastian. He didn't go far into the home before he stopped to look about the place. He looked back over his shoulder his golden eyes peering back at the other through his classes. "Thank you for your kindness." He said, though he didn't know if 'kindness' was the right word. It seemed odd to use that for a demon.
He nodded in response and wondered off to find himself a seat while he wanted for the other to finish with their dinner.
//Sorry this took so long, I sliced my finger open at work and a had to get stitches a few days ago then I've been sick ever since. I'm just finally starting to feel better.

Sebastian nodded at Claude's thanks. "It's nothing." He muttered. He wondered why he was helping this guy anyway. He was a demon, expected to be cold and selfish, but he'd always found himself caring about others to some degree. He wondered if it may have been the lack of food that drove him to seek this sort of company. He must be weak to act this way. He grabbed the food from the stove and divided it onto two plates, being sure to make it as even as was possible. He set one plate in front of Claude, and then sat down to eat his own after putting out glasses for the two. He ate in silence for a while, only occasionally glancing up at his guest. "Is this to your liking?" He asked, trying to start a conversation of some sort. He wasn't very good at that sort of thing.

The other sat silently as he listened to his new companion move about in the kitchen. While he was invited to stay in Sebastian's home it still seemed like it would be odd to roam about on his own. So, he found himself sitting listening to the other demon cook.
He looked up at Sebastian through his glasses as his plate was sat before him. He peered down at it for a moment before he picked up the silverware and began to poke at the food on the plate. It had been such a long time since he had partaken in human food. He slowly began to pick out things to eat.
He sat in silence never looking up at his companion as he slowly made his way through the food. His movements froze at the question and he looked up at Sebastian a crossed the table. "...It is adequate." He muttered as he pushed some of the food around. He would have much rather of had a soul, but this would do. "Thank you for the meal."

Sebastian had been expecting an answer like thy to be honest. The meal really want that good and souls were just so mic better for a demon. He was glad the answe hadn't been any worse than that though, because then he'd have just felt like he'd failed at being a host. "You're welcome." He returned, thinking it odd to be using manners like this. They were both being so polite that it seemed slightly awkward to Sebastian. "What would you care to do now?" He asked kindly.

Claude pushed the plate away from himself with the tip of his fork before he glance back up at Sebastian. He place the fork back on the table before he adjusted his glasses. He didn't know what he wanted to do for the evening. It wasn't like he had spent many time such as this. "I am content with retiring for the night, unless you have something better to suggest." It may have seemed like a dull answer, but nothing else came to mind. He lacked the experience of acting mortal or enjoying mortal pleasure.

((I finally have my iPod back! Do forgive me for such a late reply. I thought if already answered this :0))
Sebastian stood and then bowed. "Very well. I do hope you rest well Mr.Claude." He said in a tone just as dull as Claude's own. He simply wasn't sure how to act in this situation, and being polite seemed his best option. He got all of the plates from the table and took them to the kitchen to wash them and put them up. He figured he'd just go to bed too since Claude didn't have anything he wanted to do. He went to his room and got some clothes to sleep in before showering and then going to the couch for the night. He only had one room here, and there was no way in the seven circles of hell he was going to ask a guest to take the couch. He had far to much dignity for that. He'd be content here for the night anyway. It wasn't that bad and he was sure that Claude would be thankful for the warm hospitality. Demons were almost never shown kindness, not even by their own and he wanted to be a good moment for Claude.
