Anna huffed a sigh but nodded. "Very well. Lead the way." Because he wouldn't leave her alone until she gave in and just let him do what he wanted.

Ezio gestured for her to leave first. After all, he had to be able to disappear without a trace when her back was turned.

"Head towards the church. I will meet you," he said.

Anna snorted but left, heading towards the church. She stuck to the streets for the moment, taking note of the shops that were around and where guards had been stationed and such things. Because she was starting to learn.

Altair let Iris have a break around midday, moving to sit a few feet away on the roof. At least it was decently cool today.

Ezio followed her at a distance, keeping track of everything around him as he did so. Once he'd deemed enough time had passed, be moved in to ambush her.

Iris settled on the roof, watching the people down on the ground. No matter the era, people-watching was fun.

Anna had moved into a less populated area by then, and she had about two seconds warning when she heard him moving before she spun around, meeting his attack.

Altair watched her instead of the people around them for once. She was still pink from working, and now he almost wished he'd only given her two or three layers to wear instead of six.

Ezio expected her to meet his attack. That didn't stop him from admiring her while she did.

"Buono," he said when she met the attack. "You're getting faster."

Iris glanced over when she realized he was watching her.

"Is something wrong?" she asked as she reached back to lift her hair off her neck for a bit.

"Kinda have to be, don't I?" Anna smirked and pushed back against his blade briefly before dodging to the side, hoping to leave him off-balance, however briefly.

Altair looked at her for a few moments before he shook his head. "No. You normally eat around this time." And since neither of them had food, it was a convenient excuse for him to talk to her some and watch her.

Ezio was ready for that kind of maneuver, and moved to cut off her escape route.

"You've gotten more skilled," he elaborated. "Good. It means that the next part of your training can begin soon." And he was looking forward to that.

"Not all that hungry right now," Iris replied simply, twisting her hair into a knot on the back of her head and securing it with a simple tie. "Besides, I think there's a vendor down on the street if I want something." She glanced at him again before looking down at the people.

Anna blinked, using her momentum to run up a building until she could grab some hand holds and haul herself up out of his reach.

"Next part? You never mentioned a next part."

Altair just nodded and went back to watching her. Occasionally he was still surprised at how easily she could show her neck. But, then again, he was more paranoid than even Ezio.

"Often it is beneficial to travel for training," Ezio replied as he let Anna jump up out of immediate reach. "There is only so much one can learn in one place, and it's never a good thing to allow one's skills to stagnate."

Anna had to think about that for a second before she realized that traveling here would take longer than traveling normally would for her. She groaned quietly but didn't try to dissuade him yet, just watching to see what else he'd do.

"It was decided that such training would be useful for you and for Iris," Ezio continued, watching her expression. "There is only so much that Venice can offer by way of skills. So you and I will be leaving the city soon to see about meeting the others of the Brotherhood so you can learn a few more skills."

"Wait. What about Iris?" Anna frowned. They were splitting up? She did not like that plan. At all.

"Iris's training is not mine to handle," Ezio replied, raising an eyebrow. "You're aware of that."

"Yea but we're not leaving her alone with that Syrian psychopath are we?" Anna looked down at him, frowning. She was not pleased with this turn of events.

"If you recall, she has been alone with him before," Ezio pointed out. "She is likely alone with him now. I would think that if anything were going to happen, it would have already."

Anna scowled. That did not make her feel any better. "Can't we just, I don't know, kidnap her and take her with us?"

"That would defeat the purpose of individual training," Ezio replied. He wasn't going to budge on this one. "I think it will be good for you both to get away from one another, as well."

Anna scowled at him fiercely but didn't try to dissuade him again just yet. Instead she paused and looked around the city. Okay, yeah, it would be neat to see other places during this time period, but she didn't want to leave Iris.

Ezio was unaffected by the scowl.

"You will only hold one another back if you continued training together from this point on," he said.

Anna still wasn't convinced they even needed this training but she didn't say anything more. She just shrugged.

"Fine. I'll meet you over by Leo's workshop, then." And then she took off, not giving him a chance to reply.

Ezio let her go. Leo had taken a liking to the girls, and he figured that it would be good for Anna to enjoy the artist's company for a little while. Leo could lend a sympathetic ear that Ezio couldn't.

Anna spent some time with Leo muttering and complaining before she finally made her way back to the hideout. She still didn't like the idea of separating, but Leo had convinced her that it would be best.

Ezio was waiting for her back at the hideout. He trusted her to be able to get from Leo's workshop back to the hideout on her own. If she couldn't, she wasn't fit to be an Assassin.

Anna had no problems getting back, taking her shoes off as soon as she was inside, along with her outer layers so she could go get comfortable. She'd even seen Ezio without his hidden blade and outer layers a few times, so she figured they were all safe enough that she didn't have to worry about that.

"Where are you planning on going?" She looked over at him briefly.
