"I never said I would," Altair replied, his voice mild. "I have no need to kill them all. I can scare them into submission just as easily."

Anna laughed quietly, settling down. Maybe Ezio had been right, and she and Altair had needed to spar just to get some aggressions between them out of the way.

"As long as you don't kill them," Iris said. She didn't chastise him for the other part. Couldn't take away all his fun when the time came, could she?

Altair smirked. Clearly that was just the permission he'd been waiting for. When the time came, those boys better run and hide.

Iris just rolled her eyes a bit and turned her attention back to Anna and Amaya.

"Doing alright with her so far?" she asked her friend.

"So far. Of course, she's still asleep so far." Anna grinned briefly. "And she's got a deathgrip on my shirt."

"We'll make sure to let her sleep," Iris said. She grinned a bit. "It's been an exciting couple of days for her, so far."

Anna snorted. "Yeah, her first couple days in the world. I bet that's rather exciting. I don't remember mine, so we'll have to judge by her."

Iris snickered.

"Well you seem to be in a really good mood," she teased her friend. "Maybe you should get a little one of your own, if holding mine makes you this happy." Okay, so she was partially teasing. Sort of.

Anna shot her a Look.

"Trying to spread the joy already, are we?" she said, her voice mild, although internally she was much less calm. She and Ezio still hadn't actually really talked about it, having decided to wait for this little one to see how Iris and Altair faired.

"Maybe," Iris admitted after a second or two. She gave Anna a half-hearted Look of her own. "I noticed how touchy-feely you were tying not to be. But considering we still share a house, you'll get to dote on Amaya all you want." Because yes, she knew how touchy a subject she was dancing on at the moment.

Anna just made a vague hum of response, something she'd subconsciously picked up from Altair, settling back into her chair to let Amaya sleep more. Because now she had a lot to think over.

Iris noted Anna's expression, and dropped the subject. She stretched a little bit and settled down again.

"I think I'm going to nap a bit," she said, snuggling in next to Altair. "Wake me if you need anything."

"I will." Anna settled in as well, although she was far from sleep. But the quiet time was nice, too.

A few hours later, she didn't have to wake up Iris. Amaya did that for her.

Iris woke up the instant Amaya began to wail, and got up from the bed to go over to her friend.

"I can take her," she said. "I guess it's time to feed her again."

Anna nodded, handing the baby over easily. "I'm going to go get snacks," she said, getting up as well to leave before Iris could ask her to.

Iris nodded and settled in to feed the baby. Amaya quieted down instantly and Iris cuddled her a bit, smiling.

Altair kept his back to her, since she'd requested privacy and he wasn't going to do otherwise until she said so.

Just because she'd given birth didn't mean she couldn't still be hormonal and kind of scary. He just wasn't willing to go there.

Once Iris was done feeding Amaya and had cuddled her for a few moments, she nudged Altair.

"Do you want her for a little bit?" she asked softly.

Altair nodded, taking the little one gently and cradling her.

"You should rest," he said quietly. "You still look tired."

"I am," Iris admitted softly. She settled in again, snuggling a little closer to him. "I want to be awake when Anna comes back, though."

Altair shrugged. "If she comes back, I'll tell her you're napping. She'll understand." And if she didn't, he had no problems with beating her again, but he doubted that would become an issue.

"Alright," Iris replied reluctantly. She settled in again and drifted off to sleep.

Elsewhere, Ezio was busy putting the Americans through their paces. They were in decent enough shape, now that he'd had them running for a while. Now he just had to get them into proper habits and form.

Anna left snacks in the room with Altair, sneaking in and out so as not to disturb Iris's sleep, before she went to go help Ezio. She figured he could use all the help he could get with the Americans.

Ezio was busy grumbling under his breath in Italian as he watched the Americans 'spar' with one another. Sloppy, the lot of them, and obviously none of them knew what they were doing. He rubbed the bridge of his nose a bit.

Anna snorted when she saw him. "So pleased with their results?" she quipped, moving up next to him. "Or is this you refraining from flogging the lot of 'em?"
