Ludwig walked out and to the kitchen to get the soda and medicine before heading back to the Italian's room. He set both on the bedside table and went back to the kitchen to get a cold wash cloth and returned to the hung-over brunette. "Italy, lean up for a moment." When he did, Germany wiped his mouth then handed him the soda and medicine. "Here. Take those and drink."

Italy drank a bit of the soda, spittin it back put into the trashcan. It tasted like vomit. When he got the bad taste put of his mouth, he drank the ginger ale and took the medicine. "Thank you Germany." He said with his adorable Italian accent. He hugged the man and then pulled him so he was forced to sit on the bed and laid down on his lap again, prepared to go back to sleep.

"I-Italy! I do have work that I must do..." He looked at the little Italian and sighed. He was so innocent, almost child-like. "Perhaps it can wait for now..." He stroked the small one's head

Italy mewled softly. It felt nice with Germany touching his hair. He nuzzled the hand that touched him a little and smiled. "That feels good." He said and snuggled even closer to the other. The scent he got from Ludwig was familiar somehow...he just couldn't remember how. "You smell good." He said, trying to think where he'd smelled that before.

"Thank... you?" He shrugged. "You should really get some more rest Italy. How else will you feel better?" He laughed softly. "Just saying..." He wrinkled his nose. "I'll be back." He moved Italy and took the trash bag outside.

He giggled. "I can't believe you just had to tell an Italian to take a nap." He closed his eyes and frowned as Germany talked about leaving. "You'll come back after right?" He asked, his child-like face forming a pout.

"Of course..." He took the bag and threw it in the dumpster, shutting it quick and walking back in the house to Italy's room, hoping the Italian was already sleeping instead of still being awake.

Italy had already fallen asleep by the time Germany came back. He was having that exact same dream again, and tossed and turned in his bed, tears rolling down his cheeks. He couldn't understand why he was having this dream so much. It was rather painful to him. He cried some more, gripping his sheets tightly and trying to figure out who it was that had even left him, and why it hurt so bad.

Germany frowned and wiped the tears off of Italy's face. "Italy, don't cry... You have no reason to be sad..." He stroked his hair gently. "Calm down..." He wiped any new tears away while the Italian slept

He was shaking a little and kept crying until he woke up. "G-Germany..?" He saw the man sitting near him. He tried not to cry anymore. Why did it make him cry so hard? He couldn't even remember most of the dream now that he was awake

"Italy, is something wrong?" He wiped the bangs off of Italy's forehead, and held his hand there to see if there was a temperature difference other than just the hangover head heat. "You aren't anymore sick than you had been earlier..." He frowned. "Did you have another bad dream?"

Italy frowned. "No. Why would I have a bad dream?" He asked, trying to hide the fact that he'd really had a bad dream. He didn't want Gremany to know.

"Alcohol does weird things Italy..." he patted his head gently. "Is there anything you would like to talk about?" He was genuinely worried over the Italian

"I'm fine." He said weakly, trying to look happy. He tried to smile, but failed. "Honestly. I'm ok."

"Are you sure?" Ludwig frowned "You don't look okay... You look very pale..." He ruffled his hair gently. "Please talk to me."

Italy shook his head and then laid back down. "I'm ok."

"Okay... Then, try to sleep again while I go clean, alright?" he was still going to worry over the Italian

He nodded and closed his eyes, feigning sleep, complete with fake snoring.

Germany stood up and went to finish cleaning the kitchen and debate on what to make for dinner.

Italy started crying again, being loud like he always was and immature.

Germany paused, thinking that he was hearing sobs, so he went back to Italy's room, to see him crying. "Italy!" He walked over and embraced the Italian.

Italy wrapped his arms around Germany and cried some more, feeling slightly comforted. "D-Don't leave me." He cried, realizing who was in his dreams. "You're my best friend."

He blinked slightly. "Italy? I wouldn't leave you..." He rubbed the Italian's back carefully. "Is that what your dream was?"

He cried some more and nodded. "Y-Yes.."

Ludwig held the Italian closer to him. "you shouldn't be worrying about that. You're my friend, that's reason enough to not leave you" he rubbed circles on Italy's back
