England frowned when he saw her face drop. That couldn't be good. "Would you like me to come with you?" He asked

She shook her head. "No. I gotta go myself. No one will notice that I'm not at the meeting tomorrow anyways." she walked to where she had set her back down and picked it up. "I'll... call when I get a chance, alright?"

Arthur wasn't so sure. "If you say so.."

She leaned over and kissed the Britain softly. "I'll be fine, okay?"

He frowned. "Please...don't let anything happen to you." He said softly

"... I won't." She said with a small smile. "I promise..." She walked out of the house, not knowing that for the next few days, she'd have no time at all to even think straight.

England sighed softly and got himself ready for bed. "So much for a good night." He muttered, going upstairs and going to bed.

When Vixan got home to her country from the host country for the meetings, she fell into shock. The capital was in chaos. "Oh mein Gott..." She was immediately immersed into trying to get everything under control when bombs went off in the outskirts of town. "What the hell?!"

"Issues?" A male voice said from behind her and she jumped.

"You... Big Brother destroyed you..." She turned to see the country that had tried to take her out in the first place. "you're supposed to be dead!" She pulled Britain's gun from her pocket. "I am not afraid anymore, Zenrai."

The man simply laughed. "This showdown is not destined yet, Vinozia." He moved quickly, pinning her against a wall before kissing her and ripping her necklace off. "I'll keep this, for the grave that will be made for you." He laughed and punched her in the stomach before leaving her to crumple to the ground.

Arthur sat in the meeting the next morning, not focusing at all. He was more than a little worried about Vixan and it showed all over his face. "England." America called him, but he was to zoned out to notice. "England!" His brother yelled. "Hmm?" "Are even listening to me!?" England sighed. "Yes." He lied and tried to get his mind off of Vinozia

Vinozia struggled to get to her feet when her friend and second-in command Leon helped her up. "Miss. Vixan... Come, we must get you too the bunker..."

They moved quickly there through the secret passage in the capitol building and she sat on a bed, looking at the bruise forming on her stomach. She swore to herself she would end Zenrai's life once and for all. "Sheisse... Leon, when did this start?"

"This morning... It wasn't bad, we had thought a simple pipe had burst in one of the shops, causing an explosion, but then we got reports of attacks in other cities and we realized we were being attacked.."

"They chose when I wouldn't be here... Stupid..." She stood and went to a gun case. "How is everyone holding up?" The two talked for a while before heading out to try to fight back some of the troops from Zenrai. The thought to call England occurred to her, but she simply ignored it.

England was acting more and more jittery and eventually he was asked to leave the meeting, others thinking he was sick he was frightened by the fact Vixan hadn't called. He dialed her number and crossed his fingers in hope she would pick up.

Her phone rang in the opposite room, and her handmaid answered. "Hello, Vixan Vladimir's phone, Marissa speaking..."

England's voice sound small and frightened through the phone. "This is arthur...can Vixan come to the phone. It's urgent."

There were some papers shuffled through that could audibly be heard. "Arthur Kirkland? That's the only one on the list... She can't take any calls currently, but she wants you to know that if she needs help she'll call, and wants you to know not to worry."

Arthur got frantic. "No, you don't understand!" His voice went high pitched. "Please, tell me what's going on!"

Marissa was silent for a few moments. "We are just having a few minor issues... Nothing is wrong. I'm sorry, I must go." She hung up the phone

That made up England's mind. He grabbed a coat and a gun before heading out. He was going to Vinozia. He'd pledged to be there for Vixan and be her ally. That was exactly what he was going to do.

Vixan was in one of the smaller villages, tending to a young boy that had gotten injured in one of the blasts. "You'll be okay... We have Border Patrol keeping any more of them from getting in." She kissed his forehead. "You won't get hurt again..." She stood straight and walked outside of the make-shift infirmary, the dusty wind making her uniform's caplet ripple. There was just too much going on inside to even allow reinforcements from Russia or Prussia to come in. This was an issue she was going to have to do on her own. She walked over to her armored car and went to another town to assist in pushing the troops out.

All of The British military was marching as fast as was possible to offer aid to Vizonia, Arthur as their leader. He looked at the border control and scowled. "I am Arthur Kirkland, England. I have come to assist my ally, Vizonia. We're is my assistance needed? And if you say nowhere, I will be forced to shoot you in the head." He said blandly, holding his gun up.

The border patrol officer looked at the troops and then at Arthur. "I am sorry sir, I've turned away troops from Russia and Prussia as well under Vixan's command, so I must turn you away as well. We have snipers trained at this area that are to take out any who try to force their way in."

Arthur growled at him, prepared to take any measure needed to get in, even if it meant losing a few of his own. He had many soldiers, and even if he himself was killed, he wanted to die knowing Vixan would be helped. "Fine. Bring her to me to speak, or I'll force my way in. Mostly because my army is fifty times bigger than yours."

The officer groaned. "Sir, she will not be willing to leave her post." He did, however, detach his walkie-talkie. "Officer Fox to Chief, Fox to Chief, over."

The talkie buzzed for a moment before Vixan's voice rang through. "Chief to Fox, read you loud and clear, over."

He buzzed back to her. "We got an Arthur Kirkland demanding to either speak to you or force his way in, over."

"Is he in ear shot, over?"

"yes, ma'am, he is, over."

"Hand him the walkie talkie, over." He turned the talkie over to Arthur. "Arthur, I told you I would call when I got the chance. I am handling these things fine, just go home, okay? I don't need help, I can do this on my own."

Arthur was seething. Why couldn't she just except his help? When he replied, his accent was so heavy he was hard to understand. "I don't give a bloody damn what you can do. Just you see if I don't force my way into this country. I am not playing games when it comes to your safety. I vowed to be your ally and aid you in times like this. The hell if I'm not going to hold up to that." He was shaking with fury. "Either call off your guards, or have them shot. Even of your snipers succeed in killing me, my men will not stop trudging along."

There was silence on her end. "England..." He voice sounded saddened. "No. I swear to God, if you EVER want me to speak to you again, you will let me do this on my own and leave the guards alone. I can control my own country without help!"

He sighed, his voice becoming tired. This was America all over again. He was going to lose all he cared for in a war. "I'm sorry. I'll just have to live with you never speaking to me then. Better to have you alive and hating me...then dead.." He sounded choked up and he threw the talkie down, shooting the Gaurd, not to kill, but enough to make him useless.
