Arthur cocked an eyebrow. "Ivan. I love her more than anything in the whole bloody world. Of coarse I'll look after her properly."

"Then... I will walk her down the aisle..." he said after a sigh

"You will?!" Vixan looked up at her brother. "Oh, thank you~!!" She smiled happily.

Arthur was just as happy as Vixan was. Ivan hadn't really put up that much of a fight.

"After this though, if you break her heart... Your head will be the new ornament above my fireplace." Ivan said, his voice sounding as though it was dripping with poison.

He just looked at Ivan like the man had lost his mind. "Alrighty then..."

"weeell... I'm hungry, and surely you both must be..." Vixan said, breaking the awkward air. "How about I make us some lunch?"

"That would be cool." Arthur agreed.

"Sooo, you two play nice, and I'm going to go cook~" Vixan went happily into the kitchen to begin making lunch

He just stared at Ivan awkwardly. "So...what you want to talk about?"

Ivan looked at Arthur for a minute, worry in his eyes. "You really will take care of her, right...?" He sounded, and looked almost child-like as he asked the question to the Britain. "I mean, really take care of her, better than I was able to...?"

Arthur sighed at Ivan. "Yes Ivan, I'll be sure no one can hurt her and no one can make her sad. I'll love her and feed her and make her laugh. I'll take care of her, you don't have to worry about that."

"Thank you..." He sighed in relief. "I really don't want her to go through someone she loves not being there for her again... I regret not being there when she was growing..."

Arthur pet the large man's head like some sort of kitten. "oh Ivan...you were going through a lot at the time. Don't be so very hard on yourself ok?"

"I should've been there for her." He sighed. "I guess it doesn't matter now..." He looked at Arthur. "Vixan, she really loves you so much, doesn't she?"

Arthur felt suddenly shy. "I hope so. I know I love her more than she could even realize..."

Ivan looked at Arthur. "I'm sure she loves you more than you think..."

"Food's ready~" Vixan walked out with two plates in her hands and one balancing on her lower arm. She handed one to Russia, then one to Arthur before sitting down. "I miss anything interesting?"

Arthur ignored her question. "Where's your food?" He asked suspiciously. "You best eat girl! Don't go developing an eating disorder." He held his fork full of food to her.

She laughed "Arthur, I ate while I cooked, I promise." She pat his head. "I refuse to not eat, yanno..."

He eyes her with slight suspicion, but let it go. "Ok. That's good then." He took a bite. "Mm. Good Vinozian cooking."

She laughed softly and looked over at Ivan. "Do you like it big brother?"

"Of course I do, Vixan. Your food is always delicious..."

Arthur finished his food. "That was amazing. It always is."

Vixan smiled happily. "I'm glad you both enjoyed it.." She said, taking their plates to the kitchen.

Arthur smiled at Ivan. "Now, we all can get a long can't we?"

Ivan nodded. "Yes we can."

Vixan looked at them both in surprise. "Really??"

Arthur sighed. "Yes Vixan love. For you, we can do anything."
