Razzel purred a bit when Patch pulled her close though then listened and looked at the mirror. Slowly she reached her hand up to touch the mirror then looked at it surprisedly since she knew she didn't have hands before... she had paws before. She then touched her face and looked at the mirror again and whimpered some. She didn't want to be different... she knew what a halfling was... she knew they were treated different... but... did this mean that he would treat her different too? She looked up at Patch worriedly and hoped nothing would really change... he was all she knew now... this life was all she knew now... it couldn't change... she didn't want it to...

Patch smiled when he heard her purr and kept her close to him. He had to remember this was the little fox he had raised for 2 years. He watched as she touched her face and continued to watch her threw all this. When he heard her whimper and looked up at him he smiled and pulled her close, but made sure the blankets still covered her. "don't worry, everything is going to be fine. Your still the same razzel, all that is different is that you have to start wearing clothing and maybe I can teach you how to talk." he said as he smiled at her.

Razzel smiled and purred a bit rubbing up against Patch glad that nothing would really change. She wouldn't be able to stand it if anything changed... he was her master... she needed him... she loved him and she knew that would never change... no matter what she would always love him and she knew it.

Patch smiled when he heard her purr and felt her rub up against him. Looking down at her, he smiled, "now then, your probably hungry, so lets go get you something to eat." he said as he stroked her head gently. "do you think you can stand?" he asked as he looked down at her legs. He wasn't sure if she knew how to move around like a human yet.

Razzel cocked her head a bit then thought some and slowly tried to stand though just ended up getting one of her feet caught in the covers and nearly fell off the bed. Since she was wrapped in the cover it made it a little hard to move.

Patch chuckled when he saw her try to move, "before you move, let me get you a shirt." he said and let go of her. He headed over to a drawer and pulled out a shirt. He then pulled it over her head and smiled at her, "once that is one, we can take the blanket away.

Razzel moved a bit to get into the shirt right then slowly moved to get out from the cover and tried to stand. She was a little wobbly but was ablt to stand and walk a bit. She looked at Patch and smiled easily at him though only wished that he could understand when she tried to talk... she didn't know how to talk like a human yet so she couldn't really speak that well.

Patch smiled when he watched her stand up and walk a bit. She defiantly was a fast learner. Standing up, he gently wrapped a arm around her waist so she wouldn't fall and started to lead her to the kitchen. "you know, I can teach you how to speak if you like." he said as he looked down at her.

Razzel gave a bit of a bark like she usually did and purred lightly rubbing her head up against Patch's arm showing that she liked the idea allot.

Patch smiled when he saw her reaction and nodded, "then we will do that." he said as they entered the kitchen. He then sat her down at the table before he went to work getting everything they needed for breakfast.

Razzel smiled a bit then sat at the table and looked around then down at her hands that she had on the edge of the table and noticed something more different about her now. She raised on of her hands and cocked her head a bit losoking at it and moved her thumb some and gave a slight whine of a mix of surprise and confusion... almost like a gasp though.

Patch was getting out the eggs and bacon when he heard her gasp like sound. Turning to see her, he chuckled as he watched her move her thumb. Walking over to her, he held out his own hands. "nothing to worry about, they are called thumbs and many people have them." he said as he looked at her and then gently placed a hand on hers, "we use them so that we can pick things up and do so much more." he said as he smiled at her and then kissed her head before heading back over to finish up making breakfast.

"Oh... t-th-thu-thumb-s?" Razzel tried to sound out the word as best she could though it was really hard and she really didn't hardly understand herself. She seemed to giggle a bit when she felt Patch kiss her head and she purred a bit her ears twitching some.

Patch was surprised to hear her and couldn't help but think she had a wonderful voice. Picking up two places of eggs and bacon, he headed over to her and placed the one in front of her, "that is right, it is a thumb, your doing very good." he said as he went and picked up a bowl of fruit, setting it on the table for glory before sitting down himself.

Razzel looked down at her plate and wasn't sure how she was to eat this now... he didn't eat like she was used to... so... how was she to eat now?

Patch could tell she was trying to figure out how to eat and guessed he should of started with something easier. "Razzel, you can eat it with your hands or with a fork." he said and showed her how to eat the bacon with his hands. He then took ahold of the fork and showed her how to stab the food to eat it. "it is okay if you mess up, your just learning." he said and placed a hand on hers so that she knew everything was okay.

Razzel's ears pulled back allittle as she stared at the fork then the food then looked at Patch and smiled some then moved one of her hands to try and grab the fork right but it was really hard... she didn't know how to use her thumbs right so it was hard to hold anything.

Patch smiled at her and gently took ahold of her fork, "like this" he said and placed it correctly into her hands. "but if you can't use it, it is okay. JUse use your hands, like this." he said and started to eat with his hands. He hoped that she didn't get discouraged and never tried again but he would help her threw all this.

Razzel watched then tried to use the fork though after about five tries of the food just falling off of it she gave up and used her hands to pick up her food and eat getting that down pretty well. When she was done she licked her fur our of instinct not knowing that most people didn't do that but for now it really didn't matter.

Patch smiled as he watched her eat and was glad she was getting ahold of being human a little bit. Though when she started to ilck her fur he chuckled slightly. "hey, it is about time we head off to work. I need to get you ready." he said as he picked up the dishes. Setting them into the sink, he smiled at her, "first off we need to get you in proper clothing." he said before heading out of there and into his room.

Razzel looked up a little confused though then moved to fallow Patch. Soon finding that she couldn't walk right she got down on the floor and fallowed on all fours then sat at the door watching him wondering what he meant by get HER ready... normally when they were about to leave he need to get ready not her...

Patch had pulled out some clothing from the drawers when he saw her on the floor. Smiling at her, he guessed she wasn't really use to walking upright. Walking over to her, he crouched down in front of her, "hey, I need you to stand up so that you can get dressed. Now that your human you have to wear clothing, sorry about that." he said as he looked at her.

"S-stand?" Razzel looked a bit confused and unsure... what was this action? Stand? she had never stood before... she didn't know how to in the least.

Patch smiles when he heard her and gently took her hand into his. "standing is when you walk on two feet, like i do." he said as he slowly pulled her to her feet and held her up. "it may fee weird but it is better for you to walk like this." he said as he smiled at her and kept her close so she wouldn't fall.

Razzel whimpered a bit when she couldn't get her footing right and didn't know how to walk like this at all... her legs felt weak and wrong to her. So instead of trying to stand on her own she clung to her master her whole form tembling from her knees being so weak like they were.
