Ciara ordered herself single burger, curly fries, and a strawberry milkshake and paid with a shiny credit card.

"You have a credit card?" Pietro questioned when she pulled it out, "how'd you score one of those? We're not even legal age yet"

"Hm?" She looked up from picking out condiments at the condiment table. "I'm under my Dad's name. I've had it ever since I was accidently teleported to the other side of the world. I was home from Brownies with a Lady that worked with the Avengers... Back when my Dad was working with them. A evil warlock crossed our path.

Apparently he'd been wanting revenge on the Avengers for quite some time. He tried to scoop me and flee using magic. But when he teleported us. I was able to get out of his grasp... And was teleported off to a foreign country.

"O.o.... kay then." Pietro blinked, taking his tray to a more secluded table on the side, "Grab me some ketchup"

"M'k." She filled 4 little cups of Ketchup and sat down at the table. "Here you go." She said, putting vingar on hers

Pietro was already finished one of his burgers by the time she sat down, he proceeded to take the ketchup and start on his fries. You'd think the boy had never eaten before.

Ciara nibbled on her fries, pulling out a book or two. "Guess you were hungry." She finally spoke, a smile on her face.

"Freddy and I can usually match each other in a food eating contest" Pietro shrugged, "our powers are kinda opposite like that. With mine I don't show it, with his he does. Can't really remember the last time I was actually full though-you gonna eat all those?" he asked, having finished his own fries and half his onion rings, he was eyeing Ciara's fries as well.

"Interesting...Hm? Oh yeah, go ahead..." She handed them over, " You think the reason you can't focus in class is because you're hungry?"

Pietro shrugged again, "Dunno, don't really care" he polished off another burger, glancing at the book, "damn, we're really gonna do this studying thing? Alright, fine, lay it on me" he sighed. At least he wasn't resisting as much... sort of.

"Yeah, of course we were... What'd you think this was a date?" She paused, blushing slightly before grabbing a book. "ahem. Let's see... where to begin..." Ciara started explaining things from the beginning of the science book. She used pictures of stick men and circles to explain conspects that just weren't sticking with him.

After a while, he was losing focus again. She slammed the book closed. "Let's finish here today. You did really well. But we've got a lot of work ahead of ourselves." She got up, "I want you to read these 3 chapters over for homework. Did you want a meal for the road?" She asked, trying to get him interested in homework with food.

"Three chapters?" Pietro whined, "I thought the whole purpose of this was to get help with homework, not to get mor-another double bacon cheese burger?"

"It's not more homework. If you'd be listening in class, that IS our homework. And yes. I'll get you some brain food so you're actually able to focus on the task." She smiled sweetly.

"hmmmm" Pietro grumbled and shifted in annoyance, "better make it two double bacon burgers..."

"Alright. Alright." She said ordering him the food.

"And a chocolate milkshake" Pietro added while she was ordering. He at least was glad to have the food but it was hard to say whether or not he'd actually do the homework.

"Alright. I'll meet you here on Thursday after school alright?" She said, slipping her roller blades on. I'll see you later."

"See ya" Pietro waved, gladly taking his food and then taking off himself.

They continued like this for a couple of weeks. They got to know each other more and more and Pietro was actually learning. He seems much happier with a full stomach.

"So yeah, I talked to the principal and now all you have to do is show this card in the cafeteria and they'll give you a free meal every day. I can't believe you didn't know about the school's food program." She said as she packed her things up, finishing her milkshake. Chocolate Banana <3. It had been Pietro's idea to order two drinks and then mix them.

Pietro still resisted at first, but when she threatened to take away his burgers he caved. Apparently when he applied himself (with a full stomach) he was actually pretty intelligent.

"Seriously? That's awesome!" Pietro accepted the card with glee, "I gotta get these for the guys! They'll love it"

She smiled, "Ya, you just have to go talk to the principal. She's actually not that bad. Anyways..." Ciara began to explain as they headed out of the burger joint.

"Ciara." Came a loud and important sounding voice.

She looked up and saw Scott in his car. "Get.In.The.car.Now."

"Scott. What's your problem? We were just-"

"NOW!" He ordered.

Ciara looked at Pietro with a "Sometimes I hate this guy" face. "I'll see you next time, Speedy."

Pietro nodded to Ciara before turning his eyes on Scott with disapproval, "What's the matter Summers? Afraid I'm going to corrupt your little princess?" he called to the x-man, "Next thing you know she'll be listening to that crazy devil music, rock and roll and having opinions all to herself!"

Scott didn't response to Pietro.

Ciara hopped into the front seat and cracked a smile and held in a giggle or two. She waved good-bye as Scott drove them home. He lead her inside and straight to Charles' office where Charles and Hank were waiting.

Ciara snapped as soon as she was in the room. "Gods, what is your problem?!"

"I told you to say away from Pietro." Scott said firmly.

"Pietro? Really?" Beast frowned a little.

"I can't say I disapprove actually" Charles commented casually.

Ciara's face was getting red with anger. "Thank you, Charlie. Besides, I was tutoring him in Science!"

Scott paused, "What?"

"I was asked to tutor him. He's falling behind in school-"

"uh huh. Then why are you two at the burger joint?"

"Because he has a high metabolism because of his mutant powers! And he actually is able to focus when he has a full stomach! I'm helping him! Charlie back me up."
