This is a hard challenge for me because I'm going to be thinking of "The Planets" an orchestral suite the entire time :P and will undoubtedly try to portray that instead XD *will need to monitor myself*

wow i cannot believe the difference between first place and second place last round came down to .1 of a score. thats incredible! just goes to show how much thought my fellow judges are putting into the scores and how great a job you guys area doing in this challenge. fabulous entries guys! keep em commin!

I couldn't enter it because it doesn't use the CI, just the hills MI... but also because I'm helping Li Mei do the judging. Thank you, though! I plan on going back to it after I work out the planet-y avatar!

I figured a girly take on a futuristic space-suit might be fun what between the poisonous quality of the atmosphere on Venus and the "Women are from Venus" adage.

CCs? Suggestions?
I'm worried that the background might be too intense or that something needs to happen on the legs to get some red in there. I don't want to make it hyper layery but I feel that they appear a little neglected. Maybe the red carpet might work but on a space ship?

Also considering adding the hills back in.... I just don't know. Dx I got the jitters!

The avatar you have now it pretty fantastic. I liked the dunes you had in the background before, it made it seem like you'd landed on the surface. Right now it looks like you're hovering in the atmosphere. :) I think you're right that the feet area could use a touch of red. Maybe the red rug would be good, or some red anklets? (Do we even have red anklets?)

Mythos, i would say i agree with chexala, as right now it looks more like jupiter than venus.

So, I'm trying to decide between Mars and Uranus—the red planet, or the ice planet. I made some sketches of my initial ideas for each. What do you guys think?

Does any one have comments for my neptune?

Maria, I like the environment you've made, it fits really well with the water theme Neptune has. Your avatar is almost totally invisible though, which draws my eye away from everything else.

neller, thanks. :) I wanted to obscure the clouds, because Mars doesn't have any.

I guess I'm trying to be more the persona of neptune rather than someone ON neptune. Maybe I'm interpreting incorrectly - so I kind of want the avatar to blend since it's the planet itself.

Although I added some fog and lights...does this help?

As for your mars - I like it! But why the wrench?

LOL Okay I took off the yellow light :P

I added some ocean items in there and change the bottom to have space boots...does that work or should I keep the light blue down there instead?

And okay! That makes sense!!! :D It works well with the window! and I like the rocks on the window too!

I should really work on the PM closet so that I can start showcasing everyone's amazing entries and wins!
