I actually kind of like the third one, because it's different from the typical beach look.

Lol, I wanted to do different take on the beach. And that's me in a nutshell in real life.

I'm kind of leaning towards number three myself.

I thought about using the blush to do a touch of sunburn, but I already did that with the camping one once.

I was gonna use the gussy up face mask, which works great on the face, but then the body looked too bare.

I love the flirty hairband! I was actually just looking at that a couple hours ago while trying to decide if I wanted to incorporate it into my next PM entry. I almost wonder if the red and white beach umbrella would make it flow better. There's not a whole lot of red on the top of the image, and it might balance the colors out better.

Story: It's been forever since Cecelia could get to the beach! Finally, a day to herself when she can, has her shovel ready to make a sand castle... And it looks like it's about to rain.


Anyone have any opinions about my entry so far?

I do too! I just wish the yellow was a darker pink to match my bra. Thanks! I didn't really care for the bathing suits on here, and liked the bra/undies combo better Maybe she's eyeing someone and is luring him in

Do you have the cheesy romance? I think that background may work a little better because of the texture. Plus you wouldn't have the waves at the top. You could maybe try adding the orange smoke from basement dweller to cover the waves and make it look like a sunset? I've done it before and it looked nice, but I haven't tried it with that background

@fireprincess: I'm actually aiming for sunrise. Early birds get the best beach spots and all that. I didn't want to do waves in the back because everyone else has those so far. Not a whole lot I can do to make mine a lot different.

Well, the clouds could probably work for a sunrise as well. I've not really had the chance to watch one, but I would think a sunset and sunrise look very similar. Something like this?


I do like the bright yellow hair piece you have, btw. It helps tie in the sunrise/daytime feel

I wish we could layer the sun with the clouds so it looks like the clouds are hued from the light instead of toxic

What about the pink sky from the mustache bros?

Pink sky is too pink and makes everything look weird, Cheezy Romance looks like sunset rather than sunrise because of the darker "night" type clouds coming in. I think this is my best option.

Is there usually fog in the mornings on the beach? There's fog where I live, but I don't live on the beach XD
That might help with all the pinkness (the fog from yolo)


If you wanted to try the clouds, I think they blend a little better with this background

Haha, just saw that. Actually, I think this may work. The fog gives it the right level of "still kind of morningy" feel. Not too pink. It's a shame the thick fog takes away the water.

I really like it I like that it's lighter than your other background too, so it gives it the more morning feel

Yeah, it is kind of weird. The thin fog isn't, but the thick fog is.

Huh, that's very strange.... I've been noticing some strange layerings lately. Today I found you can't have the yumeh radio floor (left?) layered with the picnic basket floor (right?) at the same time.

I'm going to say sunglasses on the head because the sun is just coming up. Plus it looks like you're applying the sunblock for the first time that day, and you don't want your sunglasses to be in the way when you apply it to your face :)

I think there's a lack of depth in the background with the cloud. It looks ominous, but it looks more like just smoke than clouds. Perhaps you can try the background of the same color from the Cheezy Romance CI? I'm not sure how much more depth that will give.

She's cute! I love the sarong with the top. Cute combo! I think I like your current avatar more, though. There's so much more dept to the background, and I like that she's going to the beach to read...at sunset, sunrise?
