neller: what kind of lights do you mean, I was thinking maybe the parkland background because here most fairs take place in parks and the stringlights - is there anything better you could suggest - most of the background items were created in my hiatus so i'm not very knowledgeable on them x

Can I have some feedback on my finished avi? I think i've created the right vibe with background, the park setting, the fencing and metallic floor along with the music coming from the ride.

I like it! But there is a pavement floor I think would look better than such a nice stone floor. Haha. I'm not sure of the CI's name, but if you search train in the DAC, there should be gray pavement for a floor. :) I love the use of music notes!

I'm still not exactly sure what I'm supposed to do Am I supposed to cosplay a ride or someone at the fair, and it's more of a fair than a carnival, correct?

Ok, so I've come up with two different entries
at the fair/carnival
carousel horse (with saddle, blanket, and decorative pieces)

I always think of carousel horses when I think of carnivals or fairs. They are usually so elegant and decorated, so I tried to incorporate that in my entry.
My second entry is of a person attending the fair/carnival. There are usually tons of games, prizes, and food, and I usually see people with crazy hats and other accessories. I incorporated all the lights you see at night, signs advertising different games (bobbing for apples in my entry), prizes she won (the rabbit, fox stole, crazy hats, balloons), and one of the many delicious fattening foods the have available.

@ neller: and everyone else: Which idea do you like better, and is there anything I should change?

I like the horse idea better. And it looks great as is i think.

I'm not sure! I like what you're suggesting with yan, but takes away from the elegance of the horse. It's up to you. Besides that, I like what you have. I would suggest playing with the background elements, because brown isn't a very carnival-esque color, but it does make the carousel seem vintage/old-timey.

Which color would look better, white or gray? I do t remember any other colors other than those two and brown for pillars, but there may be something else I can use. Maybe I should just change the awning? As for the rest of the background, does it look ok, or is it too plain?

I've gotten used to the vomit and all that stuff... The only thing that kills me is mucous and snot... It is awful. Surgeries I have attended weren't really that bad. I thought it was cool. The part that got to me the most was the cauterization in one surgery.... No smell quite like that.

I cannot wait to see the scores. :)
