Antonio glared at him. "Easier said than done. It's hard to make friends after a life of crime." He was still laying on Romano, not bothering to move at all. He was tired from all of this night and if he had his way, he'd be sleeping right here on Romano.

"I'm sure there's plenty of retired pirates like you around" Romano scoffed, leaning back onto his hands in the cool night breeze.

He sighed. "Yeah. Like you." He was silent for a long moment before he decided to speak again. "I'm sorry for acting like an ass. I needed to get that all out." He closed his eyes, not really remembering that they were sitting outside collapsed near the porch. "You're a good friend." He admitted.

Romano laughed, a little too much. " I am the worst friend you could have my friend" He smiled, a hint of loneliness in his eyes, hidden by the darkness.

Antonio sat up and shifted himself a little. "Now that's not true my friend." He argued, pulling Romano into a hug. "Were both just misunderstood gentlemen." He claimed and held Romano as he thought. "You and I are more alike then I think you'd care to admit."

Romano pouted a little, the blush still remaining on his cheeks. "What ever bastard" He rolled his eyes. Spain could think what he liked, Romano hardly believed it. Hwo could he be compared to such an idiot?

"Don't call me that." He said, though there was amusement in his voice. "I will kiss you again of you call me that." He said, threatening. He was pretty serious too.

Romano made a weird face. "Fine then, idiot" He smiled a little, feeling a little victorious. Plenty of names he could call Spain instead of bastard...Plenty.... Some far worse.

He grinned. "Now, now. Play nice." He said. "Because I will not hesitate to torture you." He was Acctully half amused by his own game. "I'll still kiss you of you don't act nice."

"Eh?" His plan back fired. "But then I can't do anything!" Romano confessed, crossing his arms grouchily.

Spain smirked. "Nope. You can't do anything...or you could test me and be forced to suffer the punishment. Either way you lose." He felt triumphant.

Romano sulked, pulling his knees up to his chest and burying his head in them. 'That hurts more than stabs!" He whined. IT was just like he was on Spain's ship again, except instead of death it was kisses... Which was weird. And stupid.

Spain just stared at him, it was gradually getting lighter outside. "If I wasn't in control of you to some degree, then that would mean you'd be completely in charge of me, and we can't have that can we?" He was still snuggling him. "I'm happy now, you see."

"You sadist" Romano grumbled into his knees. This was totally unfair. Had Spain planned this from the start? "You are totally stupid and unfair"

That only made him laugh. "I'm stupid huh?" He leaned up and pulled Romano into a kiss that could bruise the other's lips. "You deserved that." He said with a complete smirk.

Romano blushed and pulled Spain off him, rubbing his lips. That had kinda hurt. But what was with Spain's sudden mood change? He might've been better when he wasn't cheerful. "What the hell you bastard!" Woops! The bastard slipped out of habit. He sent his head straight to his knees again.

Spain grabbed him and gave him yet another smooch. This one was gentler, but still passionate. "You really can't help it can you? That's good for me though. The more you less up, the more I can kiss those sweet lips of yours." he knew this was a crazy way to flirt, but he was a crazy man, so why did it matter?

Romano growled at Spain and glared at him. This was stupid. "This is not what I signed up for when I agreed to take care of you" Romano spat, glowering at the man in front of him.

He laughed, knowing he must be annoying Romano to no end. "This is taking care of me. A man has needs." He gave a slight pout. "Besides, don't you like me at least a little? Am I not even a little attractive? I think you're beautiful."

Romano's mouth dropped, half in surprise, half in disgust. That was really weird. "I'm not supposed to be looking after your perverted needs!" He closed his mouth and looked away under his eyelashes, resting his chin back on his knees. "It doesn't mean I want to kiss you stupid." He mumbled, a tinge of pink on his cheek from the compliment.

"Ahh...you insulted me again..." He pouted. "But at least now I know you like me." He was smirking at Romano. "You're so shy." He took Romano's hand in his own. "Well, if kissing me is that terrible for you, I won't do it again, ok?" He agreed. "But don't insult me. I don't like that at all. It's mean."

Romano jerked his hand out of Spain's own, it felt very un-natural to have someone so close to him. Especially a man. "I can't make any guarantees" Romano confessed. Calling people names and such was second-nature to him, so it would be close to impossible for him to stop.

Spain sighed and frowned. "Fine." He stood up slowly as not to hurt himself and went back inside. "I'm going to bed." He stated to no one in particular and then went to sleep.

Romano rolled his eyes and got up himself, stretching and yawning. It was considerably lighter than before, but maybe he'd be get to sleep anyway. he made his way to his bedroom, which was nicely dark, and crawled into his bed and went to sleep as well, but it was more restless than before.

When Spain woke up, there was something warm and small curled up beside him. At first he pulled it closer and embraced it, not opening his eyes. His hands raked through hair and he felt something. A curl. His eyes flew open to see who the bed intruder was, and there laid Feliciano. He screamed loud and high pitched, shoving the little Italy to the floor which made him scream from being woken in such a manner. "You do NOT just crawl in a man's bed!" Spain howled and Feli trembled, sobbing loudly.
