" Yeah, i guess so. Did she really ask you to tell me to come?" He asked, looking at the ground. "I mean, i don't see why she would. even if she was just mad at me, she'll probably still be mad once the pain meds and stuff wear off."

Cody just shook his head. "Well i sure as hell didn't want you down here. I am going in to be with her. Plus the doctor should be coming any minute.

Just as Cody walked through the door a doctor headed toward her room.

Doctor Miller was about six feet tall with dark brown hair and hazel eyes. He knocked lightly on the door. "Hello there. I am Dr. Miller. I am afraid i have some bad news. Can we wake her up?" He nodded toward the sleeping love.

Cody gently nudged Love awake. "Baby wake up. The doctor is here to talk to you," He gently stroked her hair while she blinked open her eyes.

Love sat up and looked around. "Where's Tattoo. He should be here by now." She yawned and stretched her arms and looked toward her doctor. "Hello there"

Tatsuo entered the room after the doctor. "I'm right here, love." Tatsuo waited for dr. Miller to tell them what the problem was.

Love looked at the doctor with tired eyes. "Its broken isn't it?" She frowned and looked down at her lap. How was she going to explain this to her father.

Dr. Miller nodded in agreement. It is broken and its a pretty bad break too. This means you have to stay off your foot until it heals. We are also going to give you something for the pain." He paused and looked down at the chart. "We will be putting you in a walking cast at first so you can still ice the ankle until the swelling goes down. Then about a week later you will have to go see an orthopedic specialist to have a different cast put on if the swelling has gone down." Just as the doctor came over and shook loves hand a nurse came in with her walking cast.

"Okay we are just going to put this on you and you can go home and rest." The nurse carefully lifted loves foot into the cast. She then proceeded to Velcro her in. She handed papers over to love then proceeded with the reminders. "This is non weight bearing. Which means she can not walk on it. She should have somebody with her during the day to help her with things she needs. We are going to give her crutches so she can get around on her own when needed. You have been given Norco for pain please pick it up as soon as possible it will help/" The nurse smiled double checked the cast then left.

"Just great. Every one is busy during the day. I don't know what i an going to do." Love sighed and her eyes welled with tears again.

Tatsuo glared over at cody. At least while Love was with Tatsuo she had only sprained her ankle. "I'll be available, Love. You're more important than the things i have to do. Also, Mimi said you're in her prayers." Mimi was his grandmother. " I'll just call her and tell her what's going on, and i'll just stay the next few nights with you until your father gets back, and we'll explain it to him together." Tatsuo sighed, and looked at cody. "This happened on YOUR watch." He said, glaring even more.

Cody snapped at tatsuo. "She was mad because of what YOU said. This never would have happened if you hadn't pissed her off!!" Cody was yelling by this point.

Love looked between them and smacked them both in turn. "Stop it. Right now. We are in the hospital and i have a broken ankle and all you two can do is play the blame game. Now if you both don't stop it neither of you will be helping with me. I will do it myself!!!!" Love grabbed the crutches that the nurse had laid by her bed and stood up with them. "Get over yourself. The fall was my fault."

Cody looked in shock as he rubbed his face where she had left a hand print. and shook his head, He liked it when she was feisty but was he really causing her that much pain?

Tatsuo looked at her in a little bit of shock. He was expecting to get hit, but not by Love. He stared at the ground and apologized. "Sorry love." He looked up at her. "He and i will behave from now on, Right, cody?" He looked at Cody and glared gently so that love didn't see.

Love shook her head and gimped out of the room heading toward the bathroom. She would let them sit and fight it out. She really hoped they could get along at least till her dad got home.

Cody glared at Tatsuo. "See what you did?! She has never been this mad at me before today. If we end up breaking up its all your fault!" Cody walked over and shoved tatsuo into the wall. "This is all your fault. I cant believe that you don't care about her happiness. I make her happy so you need to deal with me!"

Tatsuo got up from against the wall and glared at Cody. " You want to bet? She's not happy right now because of YOU. You're the one who gave me a problem. If it werent for you saying shit she wouldn't be upset." Tatsuo waited for Cody to hit him again.

Cody laughed. "Ha. You just need to learn to control yourself more, Its not my fault you can't handle your emotions." Cody shoved him again this time with one hand. "Grow a pair why don't you." He scoffed and sat back down in his seat. "Wimp."

Love could hear the arguing from the hallway. 'this is going to be a fun few weeks.' She sighed and gimped back into the room. "Would you guys please stop. You guys are just making this really hard and if you don't stop ill do this myself."

"Do it again, cody." He dared him, ignoring love. "I dare you." Tatsuo's ears were layed back slightly, and his tail was twitching irritatedly. "Love, if he pushes me again, i appologize for what'll happen."

Cody scoffed. "What ya gonna do cat boy lick me to death?" Cody stood up and glared at Tatsuo as he moved forward.

Love jumped in front of Tatsuo landing wrong on her foot and winced in pain. She jumped in front of Tatsuo just in time to be pushed into him. She winced and fell back against him.

Cody's face was a mix of shock and regret. "Baby why did you do that? I didn't mean to push you im soo sorry. Baby are you okay?"

Tatsuo caught love, stumbling back into the wall, but was sure that he caught Love. "She did that cause she ovbiously cares about you." He knew that if Cody had pushed him one more time, all tatsuo had to do was claim self defense in a court of law if it had gone that far. Tatsuo would have beaten the shit out of cody. He whispered into Love's ear, "I'm sorry, Love. About everything."

Love stood carefully making sure her bad ankle didn't touch the floor. "Both of you stop it now. If you continue to fight like this i mean it neither of you will be around me for a long time i can't handle this. Please just stop." Love started crying by this point. She hopped over and sat on the bed, her crutches in a pile on the floor. She sighed and wiped at her eyes. I am ready to go home.

Cody stood and gathered her things ashamed of himself. He didn't know how he was ever going to make it up to her, He sighed and stood by her side ready to catch her if she fell as they left the hospital. "Hey Yoshi. Can i catch a ride with you guys? I came in with the paramedics so i don't have my car."

Tatsuo sighed. "Fine, but you're in the backseat with the crutches." Tatsuo sighed again. "I'll go get my car and bring it around front while you two check out." Tatsuo left the room and went to get his car. It was a nice one, a lime green 2006 Scion xB (the ones from Gaia, the square ones.) and it had been customized to have red underglow and red interior underglow, so there was always a red tint to everything in the car at night.

Cody nodded. "Thanks." He helped love to the nurses station to check out.

Love smiled at the nurse. "I am ready to go home." She handed the papers they gave her to Cody. She then gimped out toward the front of the building cody following right behind her. When she got outside she sat on the bench outside of the hospital and waited for Tatsuo to pull up.

Tatsuo pulled up and put his car in park, and got out to help love into the front seat, adjusting her seat to go way back so she could get in comfortably. Cody's legs would be squished no matter which side he sat on. " Easy now," Said Tatsuo, helping love into the car. "Do you guys want to go straight home, or do you want to get a bite to eat first?" He asked, once he was in the car and the crutches were in the backseat with Cody. "If we do go somewhere, Cody will have to pay for himself, and i'll pay for us, unless he insists on paying for you as well."

Love looked at the time. "Wow its kinda late. And yes lets get something to eat i am starved." Love carefully adjusted herself into the seat. She buckled her seat belt and laid her head back against the head rest.

"Nah i am good i just want to go home." Cody said as he got into the backseat. His legs where squished and he knew this was going to be an uncomfortable ride. It was late and he had work in the morning. Plus he was still angry with love for inviting Tatsuo. He couldn't wait for them to have another fight so he could break up with her.

"Okay. We'll stop by some fast food place, then. It's on the way, so no worries." Tatsuo's ears were perked up and back to normal, though he still felt slightly threatened by cody. He was trying to hide it. He left the hospital and drove to the fast food joint, ordered what he wanted and what love wanted, paid, and went to love's house, eating his fries on the way, as love was feeding him. "Thanks for the fries, Love."

"No problem tattoo." Love could still feel the tension between them but she felt more relaxed now that she was on the way home. She continued to feed Tatsuo the fries as well as eating some herself.

Cody tensed up as he saw love feeding Tatsuo. She had never done that with him. He seemed to be getting more jealous of tatsuo by the minute. He really hated this guy and hated that his girlfriend wanted to be with him.

Tatsuo looked back at Cody while he looked behind him to change lanes, and saw the jealousy on his face, so to appease Love, as much as he hated it, he explained, "She feeds me fries when i drive cause i refuse to take my hands off the wheel. This way, she can get to her food and i can eat and she doesn't have to hear me complain about wanting my food. So don't bother being jealous. It's not very attractive on you." Tatsuo said all of this while turning and driving. He lied a little, he would take a hand off the wheel, IF he were to be driving with a girl he were dating. But as he was not dating Love, he didn't tell cody or Love this small fact.

Love sighed. She wasn't sure how much more of this jealousy she could take much more of this. She would have to sit down and talk with him. She had a feeling they weren't going to last much longer. She sighed and ate some more of her fries.

Cody was shocked that love had done this before with tatsuo. He couldn't stand that Tatsuo and love were so close. He grumbled to himself. Lucky for him he was almost home.

Once they got to Love's House, Tatsuo parked in the driveway and turned to Cody. "Hey, i have to go get some clothes. I'll be back, but you need to stay and keep an eye on Love. Unless she wants to come with me, that is..." Tatsuo looked at Love. "It's up to you."

"Ill come with you. I had a nap so I am not really tired. Cody needs to go to sleep anyways He has work tomorrow." She turned back to look at cody. "Ill see you tomorrow though right?"

"Yeah i got to go to bed. And yeah of course you will see me tomorrow." He climbed out of the car. "Thanks for the ride." He then walked over toward his house.

Love sighed. "I do not know what is wrong with him. Hes not usually like this. I'm sorry."

"Don't apologize. It's fine. He and i just seemed to have rubbed the wrong way." Tatsuo waited until Cody was completely out of the car before driving off to His house. Once there he asked, "Do you want to come in and say hi to Mimi? Let her know you're okay?" He parked and got out, waiting for Love's response.
