"Yeah sure id love too. I have seen her in so long." She unbuckled her seat belt and opened her door. She was going to wait for Tatsuo to come around before she got out of the car though. She moved her leg around slowly trying to get used to the feeling of the cast. She frowned. 'This thing is so heavy. I don't know how i am going to live with this thing on. And worse what happens if i am not out of it by the time school starts?' She sighed and waited for tatsuo.

Tatsuo Went around to the other side, got her crutches, pulled her out of the car carefully , and handed her the crutches. "C'mon, Mimi will be in the living room this late so let's just go in the front door." Tatsuo followed love to the door and unlocked it when they got there. Fortunately, there was only one step and it was into the house, The threshold.

Love hopped up carefully on her crutches. "Hi Mimi. How are you tonight? mind if i sit down?" she carefully balanced herself on one foot and pushed her hair out of her face.

"Oh dear girl, sit down, sit down. You know i won't bite!" Mimi smiled. "Anyways, Tatsuo will make us some tea, and you will tell me all about what you've been doing, especially about what happened to you today! All i knew was that Tatsuo was going to stay the night and go swimming with you today, and then i come home to find that you had gone to the hospital and that you had injured yourself and that tatsuo was on his way to see how you were doing!" mimi had a way of talking so that you couldn't get a word in edge wise until she was finished talking. She had always been that way.

Tatsuo went and put the kettle on and got a couple mugs from the cupboard and went to get his stuff packed as he waited for the water to whistle at him. When it did a minute later, he went back to the kitchen and finished making the tea, putting the right amount of honey in his grandmother's cup and added some sugar. Mimi liked the tea to be really sweet. "Love, do you want sugar or honey in your tea?" asked Tatsuo.

Love hopped in and sat down next to Mimi. Once she was done talking she was able to answer her first question. "Well i was on break so ive been pretty bored lately and my dad has been gone on business off and on so not to much has happened until today. I fell down the stairs and sprained my ankle then later me and my boyfriend got in a fight and i stormed off and fell and i ended up breaking my ankle." She turned and replied to Tatsuo. "Ill take both please."

Tatsuo put in half as much honey and sugar as he had given Mimi and served the girls. "Here. I'm going to go finish packing." he said, leaving the girls to talk. He grabbed his DS, his phone charger, his DS charger, his clothes, his headphones, and then went to the bathroom to grab his deodorant, his shampoo, and his body wash. He also grabbed his body spray and went out to get some ramen for the next few days. He knew that he would have to go shopping for love while her father was gone, so he hated eating at her house unnecessarily. Besides, he could cook interesting food with ramen and some canned tuna or canned chicken.

"I see. Well that's a shame that you and your boyfriend fought today and that it caused you to get hurt. So what happened to your ankle? Strained it, sprained it, broke it, or what?" She asked. She heard tatsuo walking quickly through the house. "He's in a hurry to get to your place! what are you two doing tonight?" Mimi hinted that they were about to be an item, but mimi hadn't a real clue as to the events that were about to unfurl.

"Its broken and i am going to be in the cast for at least six weeks but more likely eight. And then i will have physical therapy afterwards." She smiled and sipped some of her tea. "We are just going to watch movies and eat popcorn. Nothing to bad." Love smiled and knew what she was implying. She would if Tatsuo showed any interest in her. She sat there quietly and drank some of her tea.

Mimi nodded and smiled and just drank her tea, knowing that Tatsuo secretly had feelings for Love. He had told her once when he was young, when the kids had first met, before Love's mother died.

"Ready, Love? Or are you still not done with your tea?" Tatsuo had forgotten that he had ever told Mimi about his crush on Love, but Mimi remembered. It had been one of the cutest things she could remember because Tatsuo and love had been so young at the time.

Love smiled up at him. "I am still drinking my tea. Come sit down with us." She smiled and patted the sofa next to her. Her leg was starting to fall asleep so she carefully moved it making sure she did not hit anything with it, then she pushed her hair off her face again.

Tatsuo smiled softly. "We should get to your house soon. You didn't nap for too long today, so you should be getting tired, and i'm getting tired too. " He waited for her and mimi to finish the conversation and the tea before getting up and putting the tea mugs in the sink, and going to help Love up. "Night Mimi. I'll be home tomorrow afternoon for the dishes after Love's Boyfriend gets off of work, and then i'll be back at Love's." He paused. "I forgot my laptop. I'll be right back." He ran to his room and grabbed the laptop and the charger and put them in the laptop bag, and carried it with him with his dufflebag, and went to the front door, holding it open for Love. "Careful now." he said to her.

Love gimped her way to the door and carefully hopped off of the threshold then she hopped her way over to his car. She waited for Tatsuo to open the door for her as she thought to herself. 'I guess he really does care about me he was just mad at cody, not me." She smiled to herself and closed her eyes as a cool night breeze ruffled her hair.

Tatsuo opened the door for Love and helped her into the car, holding her crutches and helping her in carefully. Then he put his stuff in the backseat and the crutches on top. He the got in the car and went to Love's house, glad it was only a few blocks away. he didn't say much for the time being, since he didn't know what to say. When they got to love's house he parked in the driveway and got out to help Love out, telling to be careful, even though he knew she already knew to be careful. He then got her crutches from the backseat and handed them to her and got his things. They walked together up to her front step. He then remembered about her room being upstairs. "Will you need help going up the stairs?" he asked, quietly. It was around midnight thirty.

When they got up to the door she fished her keys out of her pocket and unlocked her door. "Yeah i will. But i can always just sleep on the couch tonight and you can take my bed if you want." She carefully pushed the door open and let her self in looking around. The paramedics had left and mess that she would have to clean up tomorrow. If she could find a way to do it with her crutches

Tatsuo followed her line of sight as he said, "No, i'll just carry you up to your room. it's not a problem. And i'll sleep on the couch or the floor like i usually do." he was a little hurt that she had suggested that he did anything different. But he didn't want to make her uncomfortable, so he had suggested that he would sleep on the couch. Typically, he slept on the floor.

He followed love into the house and put his stuff down on the couch, and went to the kitchen. "I'll clean up, too. You just need to focus on getting better."

Love followed him into the kitchen and walked up behind him. She balanced herself on one foot and left her crutches leaning against the counter. She leaned in and wrapped her arms around him from behind laying her head on his back. "Thank you Tattoo."She continued to hug him as her eyes welled up with tears. "I can't have you sleep on my floor for the next week. Maybe we can have you get the air mattress from the garage and blow it up. It will make me feel better."

Tatsuo smiled. "Okay, but let me clean up in here first." He turned around careful not to bump her legs and hugged her properly. "You know, you'll always be number one to me, right? You're my best friend. And friends are always first priority." Tatsuo hugged her tightly before letting go, and looking at her. He smiled down at her. "Cheer up, okay??"

Love nodded and turned to grab her crutches. How could she tell him that when he left earlier it literally broke her heart. That it had felt like he had dumped her. She sighed and walked back into the living room to sit down.

Tatsuo cleaned up the pots and pans and did the dishes, making sure that there were no more dishes to put in the dishwasher. When he was done, he walked into the livingroom and asked, "So, where's that air mattress?"

Love smiled. Its in the garage on the right hand side in the box that has a person sleeping on it. It has the air pump too. Love stifled a yawn and rubbed at her eyes. She was starting to get tired.

Tatsuo nodded and went out to the garage, remembering to turn on the light. Unfortunately, it was a dim one, fortunately, that's all the light he needed to see, being part cat and all. He looked for the air mattress and pump, and when he found it he brought it in and went upstairs to set it up. When he was finished he went back downstairs to see if Love had fallen asleep or not.

Love had curled up on the couch and was drifting in and out of sleep. Her eyes were closed but she was mumbling softly about school. Her hair was scattered across the arm rest and her hands were under her head.

Love looked peaceful. Tatsuo went over to her and carefully picked her up and carried her up the stairs, careful not to bump any part of her on anything, and careful to make sure the ride was smooth and easy for her. once they got up to her bed, he set her down and arranged her hair so it wasn't in her face. "Night, Love."

Love woke slightly as he set her on the bed. "Tattoo? Stay with me please" Her eyes were still closed but she was reaching for him with her left hand.

"I'm right here, Love. I'm right here." He said, taking her hand. He Moved so her head was on his lap, and he was against the wall. He stroked her hair with his spare hand, and shortly fell asleep sitting up and leaning against the wall.

Love awoke the next morning and stretched, She looked up and smiled as she saw tatsuo, She whispered softly to herself. "That must be so uncomfortable." She smiled and resisted the urge to kiss his cheek to wake him. She laid her head back on his lap and closed her eyes waiting for him to wake up since she couldn't move anyways.
