ah but one can try to get the other person to post more by asking more questions and such in character but that dose not always work ether.

not always because if a person doesn't elaborate at all then even asking a question is only gonna get simple answers.

Also, I'm planning out my next post, but if I disappear until later its because the power went out, its raining pretty good by me.

ok I understand... you have given me more in those two posts then my other partner in her many. my way of writing I try to answer a question put to a character in a book so that others can know what my character sees.
there was this game called myst and they then made books out of this and the main character was asked by his grandmother "what do you see?" all the time till he started putting everything down detailed and so I try to answer the same question when I type up an RP story.

The person who first taught me how to RP told me something I found useful

Become the character. Close your eyes and imagine your surroundings. What do you feel, what do you see, what do you hear. The other person can't understand what you know if you don't tell them.

Btw, I think you're much better then you give yourself credit for ^.^

I am only so good because of that question... which in fact turns out to be much like the advice your friend gave.

That's really good advice...it seems kinda obvious when I read it again, but I've never done that with any RPs and I probably should. Thanks Cora!
