A sweet waitress greets you:
"Hi, I'm Mimi. Welcome to our lovely teahouse. May I bring you some tea? Cake? Coffee perhaps?"
"Feel free to sit anywhere you wish," she continues, "maybe even have a chat with some of our other guests." You look around and see a few tamas (and their parents). Some are playing together, while others stuff their faces with yummy cakes.

As Mimi already said, welcome to the teahouse! I'm hoping this place will be somewhere Menewshans can hang out in, relax with some tea, and chat about just about anything, especially Tamagotchis.
I'm not sure how many people might still use them, but I've recently rediscovered my ancient tama (a silver and black P2), and wanted to see if anyone else was still interested in them or even the newer models. Anybody at all? Maybe this thread will spark some rediscoveries of your own.
Eventually, I'd like to be able to hold contests and give out prizes for them, but i have no idea what I'll do yet. If anyone has any ideas, I'm more than happy to listen to them.
Hope to see many people come through here! Have fun!
If you track your tamagotchi's growth with us, please do NOT "pause" (stop the clock) your tamagotchi to avoid possible neglect. You can't pause a real pet, now can you?
Obviously, follow ToS and try not to ruffle any feathers, not that that should be an issue
~You see a small shrine in a corner of the teahouse with a stone surrounded by small plants. Inscribed on the stone are the names of the teahouse's departed tamagotchis~
Thanks! I need to get more stuff in it though to get it running to how I want it to. Threads have to start somewhere I guess.
SO. *makes a round of cappuccinos* How many of you guys have/had a tamagotchi at some point? Any fun memories you'd like to share?
My poor tama's been through a lot. It's 15 years old, but lay dormant in a cabinet for maybe 10 of those years. It's been through my abuse, as I had it with me quite a lot as a child. The screen is messed up because I left it outside one humid Houston night. The next morning when I remembered it was there, it already had a ton of water inside it... Still works though! But I can't manage to fix it... even after taking the whole thing apart and back together 3 times.
I had a bunch of tamagotchis at one point, until they all got stolen at school. :c I got a few more, but it hasn't really been the same in keeping up with them. I think I still have a few around here somewhere, I should get new batteries for them. :eager:
I hasss:
This kind of clear white and blue one, Tamagotchi Connection
Another dark pink with hearts and yellow accents of the same brand
I think one of those old Tamagotchi ones, in purple
A Giga Pound XD
One of those Nano Puppy Family ones
Little Pokemon Pikachu ones
And one of those things from Digimon
