Clark keeps Lex behind him as he was very protective of his best friend. Maybe he relieze he had more feelings toward Lex than Lana. But he couldn't think about that right now looking at Lana but not looking at Lex cause he still had to keep a eye on Lana and the gun. "Lana just put the gun down. This isn't you." says. Clark sighs deeply alittle before he spoke "Lets just say I'm not from this world..." says. It was going to be hard to explain before looking over his shoulder abit at Lex. "Yea I am ok...the bullets didn't hurt me. I'll explain later."

"The only reason why I am protecting Lex because he is my best friend after all. But I know it doesn't count what his family did but I trust him because he was just taking orders from his father." Clark says. He really didn't want to hurt Lana but he got to get the gun away from her. Clark reaches out for the gun "Just give me the gun Lana..and all of this will be over." watching her carefully. As outside there was sirins from police cars..figuring his mom must have called them and send them over to Talon.

Lana looked almost like she was going to give up the gun to Clark, however, she actually quickly backed up. "You shouldn't protect...him..." Lana started to feel dizzy, the green necklace she had on, was the same one from before that Whitney gave to her. She then remembered how Clark never seemed to feel so good afterwards whenever she wore it around her neck or had it with her.

Lana had the necklace under her shirt and it was hidden, she lowered the gun, the cops didn't rush in yet, not sure what was going on inside. "I'll stop all of this, if you can just kiss me, one last time" she just wanted another kiss from Clark before this would all be over with, however, she didn't even know what outcomes would happen. The necklace being covered meant he wouldn't have felt it until they would embrace "Please?" she put the gun down on a table and stepped away from it, her arms open a little hoping he would kiss her once more.

Clark watches Lana for an momen not sure what she was planing. This was a tense moment not sure if she really wanted the kiss or this was something luring him away from Lex. But he did see the gun being put down. He would slowly move closer towards Lana. But he was sure that he would grab the gun before Lana had a change. "Alright if that is what you wanted..just one more last kiss.." says. Clark moving closer to Lana and the table where the gun was. As it would be the last since she would most likely be arrested for what she tryed to do.

Hoping Lex would leave before hand since Clark gave him enought time to leave when Lana put the gun down. Clark moves over to Lana and wraps his arms around her. He stares at her before he leans over and kisses her. Thats when they embrassed he could feel himself becoming weak again from what she was wearing around her neck. And also the cause of why Lana change too.

Lex didn't leave, he stayed off to the side hidden from the view, if Clark was going to get in trouble with the cops, he could help out that way. Lana wrapped her arms around Clark and returned the kiss. She managed to put the necklace around Clark's neck and under his shirt so that it would be harder to get off and then she pushed him away. "Can't believe you fell for that one" she smirked, but, then swayed and collapsed now that the stone was no where near her. Lex looked over to see why Lana had passed out, but, saw Clark being pushed back and ran over stopping him from hitting one of the columns. "Clark, are you alright?" he asks not seeing the necklace.

It was a good thing Lex was still there or he would had crash into the columns cause it was something that supported the ceiling in Talon. He didn't no why but whatever Lana did to him made him weak. Not even knowing about the necklace around his neck. He held onto Lex and closes his eyes trying his best not to pass out. Clark shakes his head and pants heavy "No..I feel strange....something is draining me..she must did something to me..." He couldn't explain it this was much different than many of the other times cause he was able to get away from whatever it was. But this time was different. Clark collapses to his knees as his legs did not want to support his weight anymore. He would chuckle abit as it seem to be a odd time for it. "I...I..I guess now you know how..I survive..t..that day." as he was starting to have a cold sweat running down his face. Not even feeling he necklace around his neck.

Lex caught Clark trying to safely lower him to the ground to see what Lana had done. "That doesn't matter right now, we need to get you some help" then something green was glowing through his shirt, Lex remembered that Clark never felt good around the green meteorite rocks, and instantly thought he should take it off of him. A couple moments now, Clark had already had it around his neck, and it was weakening him. Lex feels for the chain and takes it off of Clark sticking it in his pocket "Does that help?" Lex asks not letting go of Clark seeing how weak he looked, it kind of hurt Lex to seem him this way. "Clark?" he asks not getting a reply from him.

The necklace had been on him for a good while now just enought to cause him to pass out. So there wasn't much reply from the weak man in Lex's arms for mintues after. But once the green meterorite rock was away from him. He would start looking much better hearing Lex's voice. he thought he was having the same dream again like he had many times before. Lex was so far and he just couldn't catch up with him. Until now as Lex's voice was clear to him. It forces him to come to and opens his eyes looking up at Lex "Lex?" his head was hurting but he was just somewhat still weak. It would be same time that the police and the medicial people came into Talon. As the medical people came over to Lex and Clark to check out how Clark was doing while another checks out Lana.

Lana was taken to the hospital since she wouldn't wake up and her family was contacted. Lex told them there was a robber trying to rob the Talon, he was covering for Lana, and he didn't know why. Lex told the paramedics that Clark and himself were fine, Lex told his own story hoping Clark would go along with it and eventually was able to help Lex to his car. After getting Clark in, Lex drove him to his house, and stopped the car quietly so they could talk. Lex wasn't sure how to begin this conversation after everything that had happened.

One thing for sure Lana wouldn't remember anything if she did wake up. He would remain silent until they was at the house. Clark wasn't sure what he should say since now Lex knew his secret. "You must think I am a jerk. I never did relieze there was something wrong with Lana." starts off. He rubs the back of his neck as he was crushed that Lana had did that to him. "You was right...she was just using me..and I let her." looking over at Lex. "You tryed to get me to listen and I didn't." Clark did hope Lex wouldn't tell anyone else about his little secret as trouble would be the last thing he need. And for his parents too. He stares at Lex for abit wondering if the man would say anything. But then again would he never talk to Clark again after what he had did.

"I don't think you're a jerk Clark, you didn't know the meteorite was affecting her" Lex stated taking a short breath. "I won't tell anyone about your secret, I don't want to put your family in harms way anymore than they usually are" Lex spoke not meaning they were in harm, it's just the way it came out. "Looks like I got my answer to how you survived the crash. Mind if I ask what you are?" Lex asked waiting for Clark to answer. Lex actually thought it was cool that Clark was different, like a super hero, that would explain how Clark got everywhere so soon and was able to put himself in harms way without getting hurt usually.

Clark leans back agaisnt the car seat looking at him. He was glad he could trust his friend with his secret. "Like I said I'm not from this world. My dad told me they found me in the corn field when I was little I must have crash in a spaceship." says while he rests his head on the back headrest. He was still tired from the green rock "So I was abopted by the Kents. I knew something was aways strange with me...my powers was still showing alittle from what I could remember. They just pick up more when I grew older thats when my dad told me the truth." Looking around abit "I'm still learning more about who I am..one thing is sure if I get close to that green meterorite I get weak just like what happen." Clark runs his hand thought his hair alittle before looking back over at Lex.

Clark would smile alittle and nods "Well just be glad I was on that bridge when your car lost contral. Now you see why my parents are so protective of me. I was something special towards them since my mom couldn't get pregnant." He figure he better get inside knowing his parents would be very worried about him. "So thanks..I know I can trust you in keeping my secret. Of course you are the first person that knows about. I doubt Lana won't remember any of it which it would be good for her to forget."

Lex wanted to stop Clark, but, didn't "Get some rest tonight Clark, have a good sleep" Lex said as he started the car back up putting it in drive after Clark had gotten out. "Tell your parents I said hi, I wouldn't tell them about me knowing, your dad would probably try to kill me next" probably have a fit about it, that wouldn't be good for either one of them. Lex didn't know what he was waiting on, but, he eventually backed out of the driveway and back down the road to go home. He started remembering the thing where Clark had saved him that day on the bridge, if it wasn't for Clark being there, he would have died. Lex had a bad thing with luck, never seemed to want to go his way.

Clark would get out of the car before beating over into the window. "Thanks I will need it. And don't worry I won't tell my parents about telling that you found out." chuckles gently. As he surely knew his father wouldn't like it one bit. He stands up taking a step back as he watches Lex pulls out of the driveway and heads off. That was twice he had saved Lex's life. Lex did mean much to him and he didn't want Lex to be hurt either. Cause he didn't know what he would do if he lost his best friend. Clark stands there for a long time after Lex left just thinking what could happen if he didn't get there. He turns and heads inside as he told his parents everything was ok. And he didn't want to explain the details and heads upstairs to his room.

Lex got home and went to sleep, it was late enough that his father was already in bed, and so went to his room. Lex had a dream that Clark had flown off from earth leaving and never returned. When the morning came Lex didn't get up, he just stayed in bed, and went back to sleep. Whenever a person would dream, they would loose less sleep time, making them even more tired. Lana on the other hand woke up a couple days later in the hospital wondering what was going on and how did she get there. She didn't even remember going out with Clark even though everyone said she did, Lex had told the paramedics that she just passed out. The doctors said it was a psychological problem dealing more with stress that her mind couldn't handle. Lex had opened the Talon back up for Lana and she started working there shorter hours, but, the usual pay. She didn't ask Lex for help because something in her head said not to and she didn't understand why.

Clark had been keeping his distance away from Lana. Cause he still felt like he had been betrayed by Lana even thoguht she didn't remember him. But at lease she didn't remember about what happen nor his secret. He just thought it was best to stay away until things calm down. Clark climbs up the stairs to the top of the barn. Picking up some things that was on the floor just cleaning up the barn alittle. He was keeping himself busy just enought for him to keep his mind off of things. He had ask Lex come by later that day just to talk. Since he did miss doing that the past few weeks and he was glad both Chloe and Pete forgiving him about the way he was action.

(I'm actually watching one piece surprisenly. Reminds me of Naruto)

Lex walked up behind Clark, he had been there for a short time sitting in his car not too far away, he came to talk to Clark like the old times. "Hey Clark, I heard Lana is doing well, how are you holding up?" Lex asks walking up to Clark from the steps and standing there on the floor just after getting off of the steps. He wanted to make sure he was welcomed before entering especially after the thing with Lana, him, and Lex.

Clark heard Lex behind him and turns around as he smiles lightly. He nods "I'm good..I'm just glad she is doing well. But I don't think I could trust her again after what happen. I know it wasn't competely her fault..it was just the necklace doing it to her." shrugged alittle. He would chuckle lightly rubbing the back of his head "Theses meterorites has strange effects on people. I think they must came from my home world or something." He looks at him "Anyway have a seat..it feels like we haven't talked in ages." says. Not sure why he was so nervous around Lex now. He had told Lex his secret so why should he still feel nervous. And it wasn't over the whole thing that happen a few days ago. he always feel like Lex was more jealous towards Lana than Clark. Cause he knew Lana wouldn't be Lex's type anyway.

Lex sits down on the couch up there in the barn where Clark was cleaning. "How has school been?" Lex asked not sure if htat was a good approach, but, it was easier than starting it any other way. Lex knew that somehow, someway, even with another influence, Lana had to be jealous or hate him for some reason to get her to do what she did. If someone felt like they were going to kill someone or wanted to then the meteorite would make them do that. The stronger the wish, the more likely it would happen.

(AHHH my cat gone crazy! *watching him crawling around in his side* )

Clark sighs deeply and turns around as he walks over and sat down on the couch next to him. "Ok I guess..my friends are finally talking to me again." sighs deeply. He sits back "No one can't explain on what happen to Lana in the first place. I try my best not to pay much attention to it." stares up at the ceiling. Of course everyone always asked Clark what happen between them he just brush it off. "But I know things are changing alittle at the school." Clark shifted alittle and turns towards him "Lately I just been feeling depressed alittle..not sure why..I guess with what happen I supposed. Thats why I been cleaning up here." looking around. "Just to keep my mind off of things..."

"Clark, it isn't a good idea to dwell on the past" Lex said as he thought it was more harmful and he out of anyone should know that. Look how much he dwelled on the past, on the first time they met on the bridge, and so far it's gotten him here, though, he's taken time and money to figure out why. The past can surely drive you crazy, that's for sure. "How are your parents?" Lex asks trying to make conversation.

Guessing he is right that was all in the past and he shouldn't really worry about it. Just only what he had infront him now. "Oh they both are fine. Mom is out shopping and dad is in town getting some parts for something. Mostly trying to find another trackor that can replace the one I kinda rip the doors off from." chuckles alittle. It was nice to have someone he could talk to without worrying about his secret coming out. "I only wish my dad would just go ahead and take the money. We really do need it but he is the head of the household. How about yours?" saying figuring it wasn't good to talk about Lex's father but since Lex asked about his it was just only right to asked about Lex.

Lex shrugged "He's left me alone for now since I re opened the Talon" Meaning he asked less questions about whatever Lex was doing, unless it interfered with his plans, and that could happen again. "But, that media doesn't seem to want to drop anything, so if he isn't questioning me, they are." Lex stated as his phone went off, it was his father again, probably wanting to know where he went and what he was doing. Lex ignored it, he'll just tell his father he went off with a girl or site seeing. "It hasn't changed up here" Lex stood up walking around, he was remembering when he first came up here, to talk with Clark.

"Yea I know what you mean..there had been media called at the house. My dad keeps ignoring their calls." Clark says. His dad was very nervous still cause it was the first time the media called to find out what happen at Talon. Since Clark was there so they was thinking they was still trying to find the thief who rob Talon. One thing he did wanted to ask but not sure how to asked the question. Clark stands up and moves over "Just answer this..if you wasn't jealous at me for dating Lana. Who was you jealous at?" says looking at him.

"I wasn't jealous Clark, I just...don't want my best friend to get hurt" Lex stated looking at some pictures on the side. He wasn't about to tell Clark why he felt that way or did what he did. Besides, it was true that he didn't want him to get hurt, and Lex along with his family could easily find out anything they wanted with the right motivation, connections, money, and determination that goes along with it. "Why do you think I was jealous?"

Clark shrugged looking at him "I don't know there had been days when we was all around. It seems you was abit jealous towards Lana." turning around. "Oh never mind I have been thinking strange thoughts now days." says. It was true he had been doubting alot about himself. If he had made a good choice toward dating Lana or not. "Now that I think about it...not even sure why I thought Lana was a good type for me. She was much to clingy with or without that stone." walking over to the window and looks out of it.
