She shrugged, "I'm not really from anywhere. After all this craziness over the last few years, I have just been wandering around getting rid of the creatures that are dangerous and trying to assist those I find in getting to a city. There are a lot of survivors out there, and some of them are not normal. There was one person who gained a lot of abilities. A group of us banded together to kill him. He was enslaving other humans you see." She got rabbit cut open and cleaned out. Wolf licked up that mess while she spiked the meat and placed it over the fire to roast. "That should do it. Give it an hour to cook. It would be done faster but I dare not use any more magic until after I have eaten." She tossed him a canteen of liquid. "This will sustain you until then."

Suddenly her wards went off. Wold turned, growled, and took off outside. She quickly closed her eyes and focused on each ward, determining where and how much was breaking them. Opening her eyes she said, "Tigers. Or what resembles them. They are across the road." They heard Wolf's growling as he tangled with them. "He can't fight them alone." She stood and ran to the doorway. Looking across, she could see creatures as big as wolf. There were two of them. The downside to these creatures were the spikes on the ends of their tails.
