She smiled a little at the compliment, and shifted a little uncomfortably upon the couch. "So ... Does this whole house belong to you?" It must have been quite a lonely life. People didn't seem to be wandering about the large place. Instead there was a room filled completely with dolls and nothing else. Myro seemed happy though, as if this was all he needed in the world.

"Oh yes, the house is all mine," Myro said with a smile. "I inherited it some years ago. There were other people too--maids and such, but for some reason, there seem to be so many less of them now. I wonder why that is?" he wondered aloud. "Ah, I suppose you don't want to listen to me talk mindlessly all day! I've heard I talk to much. Do I bore you?"

She listened without comment until asked a question. The doll shook her head, sending her mahogany curls flying about in the air until they settled perfectly around her pale face once more. "No, of course not. I would like to know more about you, so please don't stop talking on my account." With a smile Fealty waved her hands in the air as if to say she didn't know what else to say.

Myro looked at Fealty suspiciously. He wasn't sure if he believed that or not. "Are you sure? You don't want to talk about yourself instead? I've heard that girls like to do that..." he wondered. He flicked his hair out of his eyes. At least it seemed she didn't find him annoying or boring, maybe.

"I speak only the truth, nothing more or less. As for speaking of myself, perhaps later when my memories aren't quite so painful." With a shrug, she moved to brush the hair from his eyes with a small smile. It was horrible not being able to truly feel anything, or touch it ... But at least she could indeed touch. Fealty knew that once upon a time she'd been like those other dolls, then suddenly she'd been alive. The circumstances had been so sad though.

Myro looked at the doll with a tiny frown on his face and a relatively serious look in his eyes for once. "Ah, if that's how it is...I see," he said then fell into silence for a few long seconds. "Well, memories aren't all that fun to talk about, so how about let's not. I know!" Myro suddenly exclaimed. "would you like a new dress? Yours is all tattery, so maybe...?"

Tilting her head to the side, the doll nodded excitedly. She lifted a hand to her disheveled hair with the thought that there wasn't anything to be done to it in order to restore the curls. It would be too strange a sensation to feel all her hair removed to be replaced by more. "Yes, please. That would be wonderful!" Nakedness didn't phase her as it did humans, if it had that had been something she'd set aside long ago.

Myro's face broke out in its patented bright grin. without delay, he grabbed hold of the doll and was whisking away to another room in barely a seconds time. "I'm sure that I can find something lovely that you can wear in the meantime. I'd love to make you a new dress though. Something just to your liking!" he chattered as he walked. Finally, he came to another room which could only be described as a mess. Fabric and patterns and clothes for any kind of doll lay scattered about. Myro set Fealty down on a table.

Fealty didn't even have the time to yell out, or voice any kind of protest, as she was whisked away. Her amethyst eyes widened as the messy organization of the room became apparent. The mahogany haired doll turned about to peer at each pattern. It was all so amazing! "I'm flattered ... This is quite the gift you plan on making for me."

Myro only gave the doll a bright smile and a little shrug. "You are a very special doll," was his honest reply. He dragged a stool over in front of a large box and sat down. Obviously he had something against the rather expensive, but uncomfortable chairs and such of his house. "So, what color do you like?"

If she could have, she'd have raised an eyebrow at his seating arrangements. "Purple," stated the doll simply. In fact, it was a pastel purple that she liked, but Fealty wasn't about to say that. Fealty ignored the fact that the young man had called her special. It was obvious, and something that people always told her.

Myro stuck his head in the box with a smile and started trying to find a dress in purple that would be her size. He'd been collecting for years, so he had an excessive amount of dolls and accessories, but Fealty was bigger than most of the dolls he had. Eventually he had searched the entire box and found only two possible dresses. One was a deep purple with lots of lace and fluff, the other was a very simple style with light purple and white stripes and multicolor dots on the skirts. He held both of the dresses up and looked at Fealty skeptically. "Um, would either of these do?" he asked.

She smiled and lifted her hand to wave at the lighter of the two. He was rather eager to please. It was a little strange really, but sweet. "That one will do." Peering around, Fealty finally decided to ask the questions foremost in her mind. "Why is it you collect dolls? Surely there must be some work you need to do in order to keep this place running smoothly." Even the rich had work, even if it wasn't strenuous.

Myro stood and gave the lighter dress to Fealty and dropped the other back into the box. He tilted his head, almost as if to ponder how to answer her question. "Work? I suppose I don't do much of that. This place isn't exactly running smoothly," he said with a slow nod. Even someone as oblivious as him knew that. It was how to keep things running that he didn't know. "I suppose I've been collecting dolls since I was a child. This house is entirely too big not to be filled with many smiling faces."

Fealty glanced at him before turning her back and clambering off the couch. Safely hidden behind the red furniture she changed her dress, or tried to. At last, the mahogany haired doll relented and moved to Myro once more. She motioned to her back and the buttons there before pipping up with a suggestions in her melodious voice. "Why not turn your passion for dolls into a business? I can just imagine what collectors and little girls might think of your creations." They would be delighted, without a doubt!

Myro nodded when Fealty came back, obviously wanting his help with the dress's buttons. He did them up for her, turning slightly pink despite her just being a doll. It was odd to help a girl with her dress regardless. he pondered her question seriously. "I've never thought about it really. Most people don't approve you know. Of a boy so fascinated with dolls..." he said with a shake of his head. "They say its a girly thing. Girls like dolls. A boy though? Nope, my parents always said I was weird!" He shook his head again, hair bouncing even as he smiled faintly.

Don't think of it that way, not in terms of gender. Think of dolls, and their creation, as an art form which anyone can participate in and appreciate." Fealty nodded the blush upon his cheeks with a small lifting of her lips and a little envy. If only she could display such emotions, such feeling! The doll reached out to try and brush a hand against his hair curiously. It was hard to tell exactly what color it was in this light for some reason.

Even if she'd been tall enough to complete the action, she still wouldn't have been able to tell what it felt like. Touch, to her, was an impossible thing. The feeling of textures, of warm and cold, it was all lost upon Fealty.

Myro nodded. "You're really nice, you know," he said. "Like, so much nicer and wiser than anyone I've ever met." Which was pretty weird if he thought about it since Fealty was a doll and not even a person. But then, she had been around for much longer than him. Maybe it did make sense that she made sense. When he finished with her dress' buttons, he looked down at her oddly. She had her hand outstretched and a look in her eyes. Eyes always were his specialty and right now he could see some sort of emotion in them. What emotion he wasn't entirely sure. So he decided to flop down into a sitting position. "What?" he asked.

The doll smiled lightly at his compliment with a slight darkening of her porcelain cheeks. With a tilt of her heels, Fealty made an attempt to brush a hand across the young man's face gently. It was hard to tell if the touch was gentle, when she couldn't feel in truth. "I ... want to be human," admitted the doll softly. She was jealous of them for so many reasons!

Myro shivered at the doll's touch. Gentle for sure, but icy cold in a way that only porcelain could be. It was like her fingers were half way to human, but only in that they could move some. His eyes turned soft as he looked at her. "But wishing that won't ever make it true. I've never been anything else, so it's hard to say, but I think it must be nice to be a doll as well."

Quickly, she pulled her hand back with a sigh. His words only echoed what Fealty already know, making her want to end the conversation abruptly. Instead, she shrugged. "Being a doll isn't all it's cracked up to be. I could break so easily. There are so many things I can't do, or feel, because of what I am." Cold, warmth, hunger, it was all alien to her. Not to mention that having to be careful of each movement was a delicate balance between strength and gentleness, otherwise Fealty ran the chance of shattering herself.

Myro frowned at the doll, not sure what to say. "If only there was a way to make you human..." And then thoughts were going off like firecrackers in his heads. So many thoughts. He wasn't sure if he was just being wishful or stupid, things he was always so good at, but he had to ask anyway. "There's a magic that makes a doll like you alive, why should there be a magic that makes a doll really alive? Were you always alive? How were you made that way?"

She laughed at his enthusiasm. "This body was a little girl's favorite doll. She drowned, and her father wanted to bring her back to life, so he used her heart in this porcelain. He got me instead, and I served his family as magical teacher and friend until someone forgot to pass me on in their will. That's how I came to the shop." Fealty was glad he'd found her. There was no other person who could have caught her attention in this way, or rather whose action she would have caught in her state.

Myro's eyes were wide with wonder. "Wow, that's a truly interesting story! That family though, are none of them around anymore?" he asked, sad that such interesting magic loving people weren't around to chat with. Plus, if anyone could help Fealty with her wish to be human, it would be them.

"They forgot about me, thinking I was nothing more then a doll. That's alright, it was time I had a change of seen." The sadness in her voice was almost hidden, though some of it did slip trough the false cheer. With a shake of her head, the doll put such emotions aside. "What happened to your family?" Surely he had somebody.
