And from what I hear a plane flight would take forever so you'd definitely want company

My longest flight was 21 hours... add on that the two hour flight between Japan and South Korea as well as the hour or so flight in the states itself and you had a really long trip.

My shortest flight across the pacific I think was about 11 hours. It usually is averaged around 14 I think. Let's just say I love my sleeping pills for it. Though on the way back last time, I ended up watching several movies. Delta isn't the cheapest but it definitely is more comfortable than Asiana. However Asiana has really nice service and is close behind them. Depends on what kind of food you want... normal or oriental.

If there was a way Super, I would love to have help adjusting to being back in the states when I move back.

Hey, I'm here to help! IF I could visit you in Korea, would you like me to come to help you move back? Or just be here to welcome you home? :)

Poet never buys food on plane flights... o.o poet would probably suffer on those flights unless it was complimentary

The first time I flew was in 2009 and I hadn't eaten before we lifted off....bad mistake. I spent the next 2 hours trying not to throw up. When we landed, I grabbed some breakfast and on the next couple of hours to LA, I was great! Although flying first class could have added to it :)

How do you feel sick without the food? Weird... I flew on an empty stomach for about 3 1/2 or so hours with no food.
I'd expect eating would make it worse if anything. Maybe I just like flying too much.

Oh I love flying! My dad was a tanker mechanic in the Air Force for years and he loved it but he told me afterwards that he was the same way. I actually love flying, love the movement and the height (try to keep the crashing and burning scenerio out of my mind :P). I have no idea why food in my stomach makes it better lol I don't have that problem in the car.

Haha... I'll have more worries than you for sure. I'll be one of the people designing them.
I'll be like "Did I design it right? Did they build it right? That shouldn't be rattling" XD

Lol one of the reasons I didn't become an engineer. I'm already uneasy about the constuction of certain traveling ways and devices :) That is cool that you design planes! What areas do you work with?

If you skip a meal and then fly, it is easy to feel queasy. Thankfully on the long flights, they serve a meal at the beginning of the trip and again towards the end of the trip. You can always buy snacks, but they aren't worth your money. Best thing to do is once you get through security, find a store or food court and buy food to bring on with you. I don't bother as I don't need the food.

Super, I wouldn't mind you helping me move back, but it would be so much cheaper just to welcome me on my return ;) A round trip ticket is expensive.

I work better in cold than I do in heat, I just put more layers on. My dad though doesn't sweat when it gets up to 101 outside :P Garlic can help you from getting cold a little bit. It increases bloodflow by thinning the blood.

I have tons of T-shirts and Long-sleeved shirts that I got for free from places so that's what I use. Otherwise I'd have no layers either.

Poet's never really gotten free cloths before... only worn hand-me-downs from their brother growing up. Most of poet's cloths are at least a year old and starting to wear out

(about 6 shirts, 3 overshirts, 2 pants) They don't last long with that little o.o

Hey guys. Sorry I haven't been around much. Been on the road. We are in Oregon tonight and have another about 5 hours tomorrow before we pull into Stanwood Washington. Then I will have a few more days before flying home on Thursday or Friday.
