Hello all! Here I will post my finished as well as my unfinished plot bunnies and my cravings. You are free to talk to me about them and add some idea to make things more interesting!

Right now I am craving:

Horror
Clockpunk
Old Timey Trains
Ghost Stories
Old Carnivals/Circuses
Crime
Neo-Renaissance
World-Building

I dislike / Do not care for:

Romance-centered plots
School plots
Teen plots
"Friendly" monsters
Ordinary settings
Galactic Stories

Here are my plot bunnies, finished or otherwise:

Quote:
Long ago, the moon got destroyed by a comet, the residue of those two astral behemoths' mutual destruction wrapping around the earth atmosphere and blanketing it from the sun and stars in an ominous and maddening embrace. Indeed, this started the age of the Enlightened, which soon afterwards brought forth the horrors of the Garous.

The initial crisis borne from the lack of sunlight and it's warmth permanently silenced those who thought the practice of genetic engineering as against nature and forced all of humankind to embrace it for it's survival, as the humans of old were not suited for the dramatic climatic changes the new atmosphere engendered.

The as yet not Enlightened took refuge from the fatal weather deep underground and started changing themselves far more than they ever dared to before, taking resource from the earth, stone and ore they were encased in, the celestial dust that they were gifted with and even from the plants that still survive despite the lack of sunlight. Soon enough, with the machines they have brought and constructed as well as the research they conducted, they became the Nearly Enlightened.

Pale as moonlight and reflecting even the faintest of glows, the Nearly Enlightened were now able to withstand their home's weather, did not need sustenance and were now able to think with greater accuracy borne from their new lack of emotions and attachments to each other. That lack of care in anything turned out to be a problem however, and they soon added some DNA of the last remaining social animals alive, the wolves, into their own genetic makeup in an effort to put some feeling and hopefully some drives into their existence. The change worked somewhat, though they were loyal to only those stronger than they were and had no mercy. They were now the Enlightened.

A strange and frightening side effect of those new beings' new nature were a strong need for bloodshed as well as a complete lack of reason nor self-control when plunged in total darkness, the lupine part of themselves combined to the plants and moon dust woven into their flesh turning them into feral monsters of fur, fangs, claws and vine-woven stone. Without light, they became Garous.

Wary of this strange new development but secure in the fact that a return to even the faintest of glow would turn them back into their reasonable selves, the Enlightened proceeded to construct a heavily illuminated megalopolis stretching from deep underground to the feet of the heaven, their new society favouring the strong and the ruthless and casting out the week and those that had even a speck of compassion for their fellow.

Those cast out and some few who preferred to revel in their primal nature were thus condemned to live the rest of their lives as Garous, rarely having the chance to find light to come back to their senses. Thus was the life of the unwanted.

I do not, I only had a vague Neo-Renaissance/Horror/Vaguely Religious plot in mind ^^'... we could make it clockpunk too, if you're interested, though...

Let's see... there was a new renaissance when strange creature appeared and demanded exquisite art of all kind for their protection. If you do not please them they kill you. So they ended up being kinda worshipped because they drew away the more hostile ones and that made humankind go into a Renaissance frenzy. Maybe the only thing working would be clockwork and the like?

What do you think? It needs a lot of work, though.

Its a decent start to a plot though. I do kind of like that. With or without the clock punk I like that. It does need work though, right now its sort of vague, but we could iron it out together.

Yeah, that's the idea!

So, where should we start?
Ooh! It could be a sort of Faustian Bargain! So, a demon?

I've never heard of that before *goes to google*

---------- Post added 06-29-2012 at 12:45 AM ----------

*smacks forhead* I've never heard it phrased like that.

I have heard of faust though, and I like that idea.

It should be very charismatic. And Evil, very evil.

Yeah, and it somehow made itself to be a "Good guy" even though that it's even more evil (and powerful) than the rest :D!

And we trust him with our lives. Like we have very little doubt that he's good.

Maybe really good looking and glowing and smiling and stuff, and it was just cast away by the other invading devils because he was "too evil" or something x3!

That works. And the other devils leave us alone not because he is defending us, but because no one messes with him .

He got an angelic-sounding name like Raphiel of something, too!

Yeah, they all go "oh shit, he will tear anyone in a thousand feet radius apart!"

So our human characters will build a temple for him and he just laugh at it all.

---------- Post added 06-28-2012 at 08:56 PM ----------

There could be a real angel trying to save them but coming off looking evil to them too. One of us will control the demon and the other the angel.

---------- Post added 06-28-2012 at 09:00 PM ----------

So, the angel grumpy and shady looking because he or she don't like demons nor heretics.

Which one would you like to play as?

Do you mind if I play the angel? I can play the demon if you'd rather though.

---------- Post added 06-29-2012 at 01:04 AM ----------

We should also both have an artist. You can multi char right?

Yeah, that's what I had in mind, but do you mind making the angel not looking angelic because doing so would be "too tacky" or something?

---------- Post added 06-28-2012 at 09:12 PM ----------

Ok, so I will name the demon Galeriel, from the french "galère" which means hassle x3!

Actually I intend to make her rather trying to fit into earth, human like.

Plus she has red hair and a rather permanent scowl.

You and your redheads xD! That sounds good. I just meant she would want to not stand out because of the Christian idea of modesty.

As for our other characters, Wouldn't it be rather ironic if they where commissioned by the pope to do something spectacular for the demon?
