"I wouldn't blame ya." Vixen said softly then sighed a little. "Well I guess I should go and check to see if desert's done." she said softly though waited to see if Valefar had anything left to say to her though knew that before too long desert would be served so she needed to get back to the kitchen to make sure everything was ready in the dining room

"Vixen...I do hope we can be friends one day.." he said and smiled before walking to the pond with Charlie. "Charlie try not to get lost again okay?" he ordered. "I'll be back before bed, from now on you sleep in my room..." he added quietly as he let Charlie slither out into the pond.

"Me too." Vixen smiled before leaving to go and make sure everything was set and ready before going back to where Valefar was. "Desert is ready Prince Valefar." she smiled softly before heading back off to go and check that everything was set on the table.

Valefar looked at Vixen and nodded before following her inside. Sitting at the table, he looked around and then at his dessert. He couldn't help but wonder if Charlie was okay or not. "Mother, Father...I'm going to have Charlie sleep in my room with me.." he said. His father looked at him confused. "Why?" he asked. "I just don't want him getting lost again..." he explained.

Vixen stood in the kitchen and waited though did hear what Valefar said and smiled some. She could understand his worry for his pet. She then sighed and leaned against the wall next to the door to the dining room waiting for everyone to finish eating so she could clean up. It had semed her life was both boring and way too busy at the same time recently... and yet she still found the time to have nothing to do at the end of the day... or even between meals... the only thing interesting that happened ever was that sometimes she would talk to Valefar or like today she would help him find something

Valefar began to eat his dessert and noticed that Vixen was just standing there. Didn't she have some dessert to eat? He thought about this but quickly looked down since he didn't want anyone to know he was staring at her. He didn't want her to know he was staring at her, she'd probably start asking questions or something along that line.

(inside the kitchen where she couldn't be seen)

Vixen felt eyes on her for a long moment before she had moved to lean against the wall nearly out of sight. She peaked around the corner to see if someone was looking for her or something but saw only the people that were eating and that no one seemed to be looking for anyone. She then looked forward when she heard one of the chefs and smiled before she started to help him clean up some of the dishes. He never seemed to eat any of the sweets and loved to clean while everyone else was eating, so she would sometimes stay in the kitchen to help him with that since some of the deserts were already ranched(don't know if that's spelled right) even without anything in them... so she wouldn't be able to eat them anyway.

Valefar soon was done with his dessert and stood. "Eo-" he started but cut himself off as he remembered that Eofe was dead. Looking at his parents who looked at him with confused faces, Valefar shook his head. "Never mind, forget it..." he said and headed over to his room. When he reached his room, he grabbed his book and then headed back to the library to read in peace...or, at least try to.

Vixen also heard Valefar and frowned a bit knowing this still must be had for him with Eofe gone. She decided that after desert she would go and talk to him to see if he was okay. Once everyone was done eating she helped clean up and do the dishes before she walked to the library and knocked a bit before entering. She walked to where Valefar normally sat. "Are you okay Prince Valefar?" she asked softly hoping that if something was bothering him he would talk to her about it... though he didn't have to if he didn't want to.

Valefar glanced over at her and closed his book. He actually wanted to talk to her...be...friends with her. "No Vixen, I am not okay. I lost someone and everyone expect me to just forget about it and move on as if nothing ever happened." he explained. "I can and will move on...but it's going to take some time, you know?" he said and looked at her and chuckled. "You really love following me around don't you?" he asked and smirked.

"I don't think everyone thinks that... maybe just your parents... some of the other maids and cooks still miss her, and I miss her. I think you should take your time, you can't rush healing." Vixen said softly as she sat on the other side of the table from Valefar then blushed a little. "Well I wanted to make sure you were okay after hearing what you said at the table." she said softly still blushing a little.

"Well yes, my parents want me to forget and move on. They never understand anything about anything. All they want is for things to be done their way." he muttered angrily and sighed. "Sorry...didn't mean to ramble on about stupid things." he said and looked at her. "I'll be fine I think..." he answered and looked at her blush. "Hmm...nice shade of pink you have...I wonder if it can get any darker?" he asked indicating her blush on her face.

"Oh no you're fine I don't think you're rambling at all." Vixen said softly then felt her blush get a bit darker when she heard him then puffed her cheeks a bit so the color would deteriorate. She didn't say anything though as she let out her breath unsure of really what to say since all he would probably do is tease her again.

His face seemed to light up when her blush darkened. "Oh wow, it got darker...and I didn't even do anything!" he said and looked at her. "That is very interesting you know, the fact that it changes shades almost on cue." he said and smirked. "I wonder if I do that...or maybe only angels do...I have no clue." he added and shrugged as he poked one of her cheeks.

"Anyone can blush and someone mentioning it only makes it worse." Vixen said looking the other way and frowning a bit when she felt Valefar poking her cheek. She had her arms crossed a bit though had to admit she was happy to see him happy... though she didn't really care for it to be at her expense.

Valefar listened to this and leaned back in his chair as he played with his chain. "Okay...so how do you make a person blush in the first place though?" he asked and looked at her before looking down at his hands. "I mean...does it happen randomly, automatically...how?" he added.

"... wait... you seriously don't know? When you embarrass someone they normally blush... or if they somehow get embarrassed... it all depends... it's a natural reaction I guess." Vixen said softly unsure of really how else to explain it... really it was almost embarrassing having to explain it... but she didn't blush or anything.

Valefar listened to her and raised an eyebrow. "Embarrassment makes people blush?" he repeated and thought about it. "It's no wonder I never blush...no one ever embarrasses me." he said and looked at her. "That collar you have on..." he said and pointed to her collar around her neck. "I haven't pulled it in quiet a while...I'm considering having it removed from you..." he said quietly.

"Really?! Oh thank you Prince Valefar." Vixen smiled and just hoped this wasn't one of his jokes, she really hated the collar so she hoped that he wasn't pulling her leg or anything.

(oh before you do have him take it off of her I have an idea XD What if one of the other maids had been cleaning in Valefar's parents room and accidentally left the door open since they were like the only ones aloud to clean in the room so when Vixen cleans close to the room maybe someone accidentally pushes her and she falls into the room and his parents see her or something and like pull the collar until he comes up having heard her scream? What do you think?)

Valefar smirked and nodded. "You're welcome. I'm still thinking about it, but I'm sure I'll make up my mind before the end of the day." he explained and looked at her collar then at her. "I bet that collar came as a surprise to you, it came as a surprise to me too...what kind of parents enslave their child?" he asked and shrugged. "Well it doesn't matter anymore..." he said and smiled.

(Ooooh! I love it!, he can defend her too!)

(yep so maybe the next day? In the morning since she's already done all of her chores for the day?)

"I think I was the one that was the most surprised by what my parents did... I knew they didn't really like me but I never expected them to disown me AND enslave me with this collar. But you're right, it doesn't matter anymore." Vixen said softly then covered her mouth a bit as she yawned some. "Heh, well I guess it's about time I went to bed, before I go though, do you need anything?" she asked softly as she stood and pushed in her chair at the table.

"Parents...we hate and love them correct?" he commented and smiled slightly. Valefar didn't think angels did that kind of stuff. They might as well have been demons themselves, but they were angels and there was no doubt about it. They gave off a certain feel that let everyone know that they really were angels and nothing less. It took him a while to realize that Vixen was speaking to him. Blinking and shaking his head, he looked at her. "Huh? Oh...no I'm fine Vixen. The only thing I need, is for you to get some sleep, you have chores tomorrow." he said as he stood and pushed his chair to the table after grabbing the book he had planned on reading and yawned. "I myself should head off to bed too.."

"That is quite true." Vixen grinned some then gave a slight bow before standing straight. "Sleep well Prince Valefar." she said softly before turning and heading to her room where she spoke to Sinz and Souls for a few minutes before getting into her night clothes. She soon fell fast asleep knowing she would have probably a busy day tomorrow.

Valefar watched her leave. "You sleep well too Vixen..." he said as she left the room. After a while, he himself left to his own room and looked at Charlie who was sleeping near his pillow. Changing into his sleeping clothes, Valefar placed the chains carefully on the floor and got into bed slowly as to not wake Charlie up. "Good night buddy..." he whispered before falling to sleep, wondering what tomorrow would bring.

In the morning Vixen awoke and went about her normal duties, cleaning the hallways and stairs and such. Today however it seemed to be a little busy and she was careful not to get in anyone's way. When she was close to the kings and queens room however someone was in a rush and had left the door open so when someone else ran by her in a hurry they knocked her back and into the floor in the doorway. She groaned a bit as she got up and nearly slipped on the cleaning spray that had been spilled.
