When Valefar heard that her cousin was a pure angel, something inside him snapped and he quickly pulled away from her. "You want me....to go over to a place where a pure angel lives?!" he asked. "The chances of all this going smoothly are very slim now...if we go, let's just hope your cousin knows his place and doesn't do anything to upset me." he warned and sighed. "What am I supposed to take...and will I become nothing once I leave my home?" he asked himself.

Vixen shrunk a little when she heard him snap and looked at him softly "Valefar.... Souls is a pure angel guardian remember? And I was going to send Amber out with a note to him before we went anyway... why did it suddenly change your opinion when I told you he was a pure angel? There aren't many tainted angels out there and all the dark angels either live in their own kingdom or come here or to one of the other demon kingdoms... my cousin is a really good guy okay? He's been defying the law to keep me in contact with my siblings this whole time." she said softly looking at Valefar with soft eyes not really understanding why suddenly everything was different since her cousin was a pure angel.

"I know what Souls is, I don't 'really talk to her though and she doesn't do anything to upset me." he explained and sighed as he looked at her then looked around the room. "Go ahead and send him a note, I'll wait to see what he says on this idea of yours. I like it don't get me wrong, I'm just wondering what will happen if we do this." he added softly and knew he had hurt her. "Sorry for hurting you Vixen..."

"It's okay Valefar... I know you didn't mean to, it's just my cousin and my siblings are the only ones I have left other then Sinz, Souls and you... so he means allot to me really." Vixen said softly before giving Valefar a hug then went over to the desk in her room and started to write a letter to her cousin and tied it to Amber's ankle and let her fly out the window as she headed to her cousin's ranch to give him the letter. It would only take her about 30 minutes to an hour to get there and find her cousin then about the same amount of time to get back after he sent a letter back. "It'll take a little while, go ahead and get some stuff packed though okay? When we get the letter back he'll probably say yes and we'll need to leave at night." she said softly as she went and grabbed the bag Souls handed her and started to pack what little stuff she had.

Watching her, he looked over at her as she began to pack her bag. Walking over to her, he gently kissed her cheek and nodded. "Okay then..." he whispered and walked out of the room as he pet Charlie. "Come on buddy...let's go." he whispered before walking over to his room. Walking into his room, he grabbed a suitcase and began to pack some clothes. Charlie curled up on the bed and watched him. "I know buddy...I'm scared to leave this home behind...but it's for the best." he said quietly.

"Are you sure m'lady" Souls asked Vixen once Valefar had left the room and she sighed and nodded. "What other choice do we have? If we stay here neither of us will be happy... if he doesn't want to leave we don't have to... I'll be happy so long as I'm with him I suppose... but as long as we're here his parents will want him to marry someone else and will continue to try and kill me or get rid of me." she sighed softly before finishing packing her bag and was surprised when Amber came back 20 minute earlier then she expected with a new note on her ankle. Once Vixen had read it she smiled and went out of her room and over to Valefar's room and knocked then walked inside and shut the door. "My cousin said it would be fine for whenever we wanted to come, he said that the guest house is clean and ready for anyone to move in." she said softly as she looked at Valefar with care in her eyes. "Are you sure you want to leave? You know it'll be some time before we can come back right?" she said softly hoping her knew that and didn't mind.

When Vixen entered his room, he had just finished packing his collar and chains and Violin case. Valefar's tail didn't even sway as he listened to her and nodded. "I know..." he said softly as he let his tail drag around the floor. "I just hope that you know that I'm going to miss my home." he said as he closed the suitcase and looked at Charlie. "Of course I'm bringing you along Buddy..." he said and pet Charlie gently before looking Vixen. "I really don't want to go...but we have to...it's our only choice." he explained quietly.

"Valefar... we don't have to go if you really don't want to... I want what is best for us... what you want and what's best for you... I want what makes you happy... and if we leave and you're not happy then I won't be happy... so just tell me what you want and no matter what I'll stick by you because I love you." she said softly as she walked up to Valefar and hugged him though you could tell she just wanted what would make him happy even if it meant her being unhappy for awhile.

"There's no point in me staying in a place where I'm not loved." he started. "I hate Setsudan...I love my parents but they hate me so I hate them to a certain extent..." he added and hugged her back gently as he let his tail wrap around her waist. "You want what makes me happy?" he repeated and kissed her cheek. "Vixen...you make me happy and I want you to be safe. I love you and this is why I'm doing all of this...for you." he explained and gently tilted her chin and looked into her eyes lovingly. "You shouldn't worry about me or what I want, because all I want is for you to be happy and safe." he whispered.

Vixen looked up at Valefar as she listened to him and gave him a small smile. "It's just who I am to worry about others before myself though... I may not be a full blooded angel but I'm not a fallen either... I love you and my family and Sinz and Souls... if I were to end up getting hurt making sure any of you were okay it would be worth it to me... that's why I was so upset when Eofe died... I wasn't just upset about that... I was upset because you were upset... I love you and no matter what you say I will always worry and look out for you more then myself." she said softly then thought for a second before taking a steadying breath before kissing Valefar softly on the lips her face steadily turning red as she did so.

Valefar looked at her as she spoke and shook his head. "I don't care, I'm never going to let anything bad ever happen to you." he said and stroke her cheek. "I will always take care of you and I'd be just fine dying if it meant keeping you safe and away from danger." he said in a whisper and widened his eyes in surprise at the kiss before smiling and kissing her back softly as he closed his eyes and held her closer to him. He never wanted to loose her, he wanted to be with her always. Vixen was the happiness he had been missing all his life.

Vixen smiled as she kissed Valefar lovingly and honestly before he kissed her earlier she would have never dreamed of kissing anyone... and the only time she would ever hug anyone as when they were upset... but for whatever reason she liked being close to Valefar... it was nice and it made her feel safe.

Valefar continued to kiss Vixen lovingly and softly before hesitantly pulling back slightly to look at her. "I love you so much Vixen." he whispered and smirked. "That blush on your face just adds to your beauty you know." he commented and gently ran a hand through her hair, stroking it softly.

"heh... well you're the only one that can make me blush ya know... and I love you too, so very much." she smiled softly then looked at the window noting that the sun was inching further and further down in the sky. "As soon as the sun goes down I think we should leave... as soon as we know your parents won't be up to stop us." she said softly before looking back up to Valefar and gave him a small smile.

"I love making you blush." he said and kept her close to him as she spoke. "Well my parents should be heading to bed soon...and the servants should be cleaning up at the moment." he explained and stared at his bedroom door. "We should be able to leave in a bit though...until then what do we do?" he asked and looked at her.

"I'm not sure... what do you want to do? I'd kinda like to hear you play your violin... I've only heard you play it from a distance." Vixen smiled softly as she looked up at Valefar seeming really happy right now even though it would be dangerous to get out of the kingdom... she wasn't thinking about that though.

Valefar stepped back away from her and let his tail release her waist. "My Violin..." he repeated and looked at her. "You want to hear me play my Violin?" he asked her. Valefar was surprised that she wanted to hear him play and only hoped no one came to see him the moment he started playing. "Very well." he said and opened his suitcase only to take out his Violin case and set it on the bed. Closing his suitcase he slid that under the bed and then opened the Violin case, taking out his black Violin and bow. "Let's see...what to play?" he asked himself and thought for a while before he began to play it gracefully. He didn't even look at Vixen as he played since he didn't want to be distracted, so instead he just stared at the wall as he played.

Once Valefar had finished playing Vixen smiled brightly. "That was beautiful, I think you're allot better playing your violin then I ever was with playing my flute." she smiled some as she looked at Valefar then looked at how dark it was getting outside. "Maybe we should check to see if everyone's asleep now... it's dark out." she said softly though wasn't completely sure and wondered what Valefar thought.

When he was done, Valefar released a breath and turned to her. "Thank-you. Well practice makes perfect...since I never had anything to do I spent most of my time practicing." he explained as he put his Violin and bow away, then put the case away in his suitcase. Turning to her he nodded and smiled slightly. "I'd love to hear you play your flute someday..." he whispered and opened the bedroom door before walking out of his room and looking around; making sure that everyone was sleeping.

Vixen fallowed Valefar and smiled some. "At some point when we're out of here then I will." she said in a whisper then smiled some as she fallowed him and they were soon out of the castle and she pulled out her wings. "We can't get a carriage so we might as well fly." she suggested softly to Valefar hoping he didn't mind that thought.

When they were out of the castle he looked at her shook his head. "I don't fly...I don't mind running." he answered and looked at Charlie. "You come with me." he said and then looked at Vixen. "As for you, you can go ahead and fly though. I'll follow you from down here." he said to her as he yawned softly.

"Won't the guards see you and try to catch you though? The ones that are outside the kingdom gates... won't they stop yu and alert your parents?" Vixen asked softly and was unsure though knew if he couldn't fly then Sinz could turn into a dragon and he could ride on her back.

Turning to her he sighed. "I just want you safe now do as I say and go!" he ordered. "If I'm caught I don't care I just want you out of harm and danger. I just want you to be safe." he explained and looked at Charlie. "You sit on my shoulder since I don't think you can fly all the way." he said and gently placed Charlie on his shoulder.

"But... I'm not going to go without you Valefar... Sinz can shift inot a dragon and you can ride with her... but I don't want to leave without you." Vixen said softly hoping he understood and would take her advice about him riding on Sinz.

Valefar stared at Vixen and growled slightly. "Fine whatever you want Vixen." he said and pet Charlie gently as he looked at Sinz then at his tattoo. "let's just go now before we waste any more time..."
