"Stay with the dragon, he saved your life. I need to find Charlie and the light is killing me right now...it burns worse than fire." he answered and walked out of the library. When he was in the dark cave once again, he rubbed his eyes and punched the wall before running out and wincing at the light again. "Charlie!" he called out into the air as he looked around worriedly. "CHARLIE!" he called out again before running off trying to find him.

"Light? But this place is rather dark...." Vixen said quietly looked at the dragon then sighed and went to find a book before she came back and sat with the giant snake dragon as if he were a chair. She was slightly worried about Valefar... he was acting kinda funny and he seemed to have lost his good mood when they walked into the library... but why? And why did he seem to be upsetted at the thought of the knowledge seekers?

A cry could be heard off in the distance and saw Charlie flying over to him. "You're alive buddy!" he called and hugged Charlie as he landed in his arms. He had gotten slightly bigger now. "Come on let's go back inside and relax, the light burns..." he said and ran back inside the house he and Vixen where living in. "Did you have fun flying around?" he asked and smiled as Charlie flapped his wings and told him his stories of flying around... all in a myriad of squawks.

(How could he have gotten any bigger? They had only been there not even two days)

(He's a growing Dragon. He's not like big bigger, just a tiny bit bigger.)

Vix sighed as she continued to read for awhile before slowly getting up and hugging the dragon before heading back to the house and looked for Valefar wondering what was going on with him. "Valefar?" she called softly as she got into the house and wondered where he was.

"Well it sounds like you had a lot of fun Charlie, That's good!" he answered and pet him softly. Hearing Vixen's voice, he looked over and blinked. "I'm right here Vixen!" he called from the bedroom. "I'm glad you like it here though, there are a lot of dragons here so I'm sure you'll make some friends." he added softly.

"Are you okay? You were acting kinda funny back there... like there was something wrong with the seekers? I mean normally it seems you love books I was surprised you didn't stay down there longer." Vixen asked almost worriedly as she came to the door of Valefar's room and looked at him a bit worried.

Valefar looked at her and then placed Charlie to the side. He then motioned for her to come to him using his finger. "Come here, it looks like you're scared of me know." he said and looked at his nails. "I couldn't find one that I liked. I'll look closer next time though." he answered and ran his hands through his hair.

"Oh no I'm not scared... I was just worried at how you were acting. You seemed upset." Vixen said softly as she walked over to Valefar and sat beside him hugging him a bit. She was just worried was all... she didn't know if she had done or said something wrong so that kinda worried her when he acted like that.

"I'm a demon so it wouldn't surprise me if you're scared of me Vixen really." he said and smirked before hugging her softly. "I'm fine I promise. Sorry for worrying you, it wasn't my intention." he commented and kissed her cheek gently. Looking at her, Valefar smirked and poked her cheek with his nail and held her close. "The library was very impressive though." he assured.

"No I'm serious you don't scare me... well not anymore anyway" Vixen said with a slight blush when she felt his tale poke her cheek though just smiled and stayed close to him. Thanks... see that's the library me and Sinz were talking about the first day I came to your kingdom, I sometimes call it my personal library because not even Kaji or Unmei know about it." she said with a smile then looked over to the door as Setta flew in and landed close to Charlie cooing at him lightly seeming to want to play or something.

"I scared you before... I knew it!" he said and laughed happily. "I'm a scary demon I know, but that's good actually. What's the point of being a demon if you're not feared?" he asked and listened. "Ahhh, I see. Well it's a very nice library Vixen, I'm surprised no one else knows about it though." he said and looked over at Setta. Charlie swayed his tail quickly and sniffed Setta before biting her tail and screeching loudly, making Valefar wince. "Cute, they're playing." he said and wrapped his own tail around Vixen's waist. Where are Souls and Sinz anyway?" he asked before kissing her shoulder softly.

"Heh, only because I didn't like being shocked so much, your father scared me more." Vixen grinned teasinly before thinking some. "I think they're hanging out with some of the other guardians... there's a gathering place not too far from here." she said then looked at the two and smiled some as she saw Setta squeeking and squeeling before tackling Charlie playfully. "Heh, I think this is the first time I've seen them getting along so well, but anyway the library is protected by the dragons, only I can get in and anyone they see with me, so you'll be fine." she said softly with a smile before lightly running her fingertips along his tale and shivered some when she felt him kiss her shoulder.

"Yes, my father is a very scary demon.... I should know, I'm his son and I lived with him." he said and smirked. "I haven't seen them in a while, glad to know they're okay though." he commented and chuckled when she shivered. "Cold?" he asked her and kissed her cheek before looking over at Charlie and Setta. "Yeah, it's very surprising isn't it?" he replied and buried his face in her neck, smirking as her fingertips ran along his tail...enjoying the feeling. "Mmm..I love you." he said and kissed her shoulder again.

"No I'm not cold." Vix said then smiled and nodded before kissing him on the cheek as well. "I love you too." she said softly nuzzling him lightly still stroking his tale.

"You really love me Vixen?" he asked and nuzzled her neck. "That makes me very happy to hear. " he whispered and looked at her, blushing lightly. His fingers ran through her hair gently and he smiled, happy to know that someone actually loved him. He was really enjoying just being with Vixen right now and didn't want to move from his spot. "Vixen... can I do something?" he asked her.

"Of course I love you Valefar." Vixen said softly with a bright smile before looking at him and nodding. "Sure what is it?" she asked softly shivering lightly when he ran his hand through her hair. She wondered what he wanted to do but either was she was sure it wouldn't bother her.

Valefar blushed when she affirmed her love for him. "Oh...ummm..." he looked at her and then just held her as close to him as he could before pressing his lips to her neck softly kissing her there, then moved upwards and began kissing her lips passionately, blushing the entire time.

Vixen smiled easily kissing him back wondering slightly why he even asked... they had already kissed several times there was no need for him to ask really. She slowly moved to hug her arms around him and scooted closer to him easily just loving the feel of being close to him and kissing him.

Valefar ran a finger dont her cheek and neck slowly as he continued to kiss her. He smirked when he felt her wrap her arms around him and scoot even closer to him, leaving little room between them now. That didn't bother him though, he didn't mind how close she got, he loved it when she was close and he could feel her warmth against him. His lips continued to kiss her passionately while his hands slowly ran down her sides gently.

Vixen blushed a little when she felt his hands going down her sides though just continued to kiss him loving the feel so much and loved being close to him like this. Before she would have never thought that he could be so loving and love being so close but now she just couldn't imagine not being close to him like this.

Hesitantly, Valefar pulled away for air and looked at her, breathing heavily. "I love you Vixen." he breathed and frowned. "Sorry for kissing you like that, it's just.... that I really love you and I love kissing you, feeling your lips against mine." he explained breathlessly.

"No no don't apologize, I love kissing you." Vixen said softly with a bright smile as she caught her breath before nuzzling his neck lightly and playfully.

"Well I love kissing you too." he whispered and held her closer against him, remembering what she had told him about wanting to do more. That will have to wait though. he thought to himself and kissed her ear then began kissing her down her neck to her shoulder slowly.
