"Yes Souls does eat... that is why she left to get herself some food to keep here... and if Vixen didn't have her own food made different she would get very sick... if not starve for she probably wouldn't be able to eat." Sinz said then noticed that Vixen had put her book up right before she heard a knock of the door and fallowed Valefar knowing that him and her guardian had been talking but didn't really care.

Valefar walked into the kitchen where his parents were already seated and waiting for breakfast to be served. Sitting down at the table, he decided to ignore everyone around him and focus on what he would do today. Breakfast consisted of Something that looked like pancakes, except they weren't brown, they looked grey with bits of black and a red syrup was poured over them. Looking down at his food, he smirked and happily began to eat it while drinking his drink which looked like orange juice.

Vixen sat at the table and noted that there was some normal looking pancakes close to her and she got some of them and started to eat and seemed to enjoy the food. It wasn't long before she was done... she didn't really eat too awful much so she decided to go ahead and go to the kitchen and see if there was anything she could help with. She helped slean up what little mess was left in the kitchen with the cooks all seeming to enjoy the help before she left going to see if everyone was done eating.

When Valefar was done eating, he stood and locked his eyes on Vixen before shaking his head. "Eofe, you and Vixen know what to do...get to it." he ordered before heading out to his mother's garden. Eofe nodded and motioned for Vixen to follow her. "Come..." she said in such a quiet voice, you had to strain to hear it which is why she preferred to do hand gestures. She walked into a massive room which was were parties, if any, were held. "Mop up....I'll clean up the halls and come back in a bit." explained Eofe before handing Vixen a bucket of soapy water and a mop then she was gone.

Vixen sighed a bit as she heard Eofe and nodded taking the mop and cleaning up the room of any mess that was in there... and really it didn't seem like she minded to at all and before long the room was clean. She then put the mop up and walked out of the room and right away saw Souls walking down the hall with a small dragon sitting on one of her shoulders... and... a pheonix on the other? "Souls? What's up with the phoenix? Isn't that one of Nick's phoenix's?" she asked curiously knowing her cousin raised the majestic birds... but why did her guardian have one?

"Yes it is... but he wanted to give her to you so you could keep in contact with him and your siblings since your parents forbid them from coming here." Souls said softly as the phoenix flew over and landed on Vixen's shoulder and she held out her hand for her dragon who landed on it promptly. "Does she have a name?" she asked curiously and Souls nodded. "Ember... she's the youngest so far of the blue phoenix's." she said softly and Vixen nodded before quickly heading to her room and letting the phoenix down as she sat at the end of the bed perched on the foot board.

"Well... I suppose I should go find Valefar and introduce him to Setta." she said softly as she walked out of her room with the little gold dragon sitting on her shoulder and looked for where the prince was.

Valefar sat in the garden with his eyes gazing out at nothing in particular. His legs were pulled close to his chest, and one arm held them close to his chest. His tail lay motionless on the ground behind him as he stared off into nothing, with one finger gently stroking one of his small horns on his head. Eofe was too busy leaning other rooms to notice anything that was going on around her.

Vixen walked to the door that lead out into the garden and paused. She hadn't seen Valefar looking this down since the first day she came here... but why did he look so upset? Slowly she opened the door and walked out and quietly over to Valefar hoping not to bother him really. She wanted to know what was wrong but she wasn't sure how she could help him. She then noticed that Setta had flew off her shoulder and she tried to catch her before she landed but it was too late and she had already flew over to Valefar and landed on his leg. "I'm so sorry... she got away from me." Vixen said softly as she walked over to the prince and hoped he wasn't upset that her dragon had disturbed him.

Valefar at first didn't even move, his tail only twitched a bit, but he didn't even blink. It wasn't until he felt something that he finally blinked and looked down at the dragon on his leg. "What..."he started but stopped when he heard Vixen. "Why aren't you working? Are you done?" he asked before looking at her with an intimidating look on his face. Being disturbed during meditation and memories always ticked him off. "I'm surprised you found me...I didn't think you would. I'm sure there is one place in this damned castle that you'd never find me." he said, referring to his room. That was the only room he knew she'd never find in this castle.

"I'm sorry... I was looking for Eofe before... so when I couldn't find her I went to look for you... I guess she moves from room to room quickly. She had asked me to clean the dining hall and I had finished then ran into Souls... and I guess Setta wanted to see what you were doing... I couldn't catch her before she flew off." Vixen said trying not to get too intimidated by Valefar as she snapped her fingers twice and Setta looked up then flew up to land on her shoulder. "But again I am so sorry that Setta bothered you." she said again softly hoping not to really irritate him... she didn't want him pulling her collar or anything that could cause it to shock her... that was probably the one thing she was scared of right now.

Hearing this, Valefar began to stand up slowly and elegantly to meet here eyes face to face. "Yes, Eofe is the hardest worker we have..." he explained and looked at the dragon. "Setta...that's her name?" he asked as he looked at the dragon on Vixen's shoulder. "Look Vixen, your dragon did disturb me. I'll have you know that I hate being disturbed...especially when I'm doing what I was just doing." he hissed and looked at her collar and sneered. "I really should pull on that collar of yours until you can't take it anymore and pass out from the pain!" he spat. "However...I won't...I'll let you off with a warning...you only get one warning if you're lucky. Disturb me again and I'll make sure you pass out from pain, and feel so much pain in the morning you can't even walk!" he hissed and glared at her. "As for Setta...keep her away from me...though I think Charlie might want to meet her..."

Vixen gulped and put her hand on the collar shaking a bit at the thought. She waited to see if he had anything more to say to her before she left to see if she could find Eofe not wanting to make him more irritated then he already was. She had never acted nor felt this way before... before now no one could scare her... and that had bothered her parents a bit, though now she could so easily be worried just by the thought of having that collar pulled that was around her neck... it actually truly scared her to think of the pain it caused her.

Valefar leaned in closer to her and smirked. "I frighten you now, don't I?" he whispered and sneered. "You are so afraid of me now, I can see it in just the way you're standing, and because you just touched your collar." he added with an evil smirk on his face. "That's good...maybe now you'll listen to me. Come along...Charlie will want to meet Setta..." he said and motioned for her to follow him to the pond.

Vixen inched away a little when Valefar leaned in close and she couldn't help the fear and worry... what had changed? Was it just the collar that scared her? or was it something more that bothered her... it wasn't just fear when he got close... no... it was something else that she just couldn't understand. She then heard him and nodded leaving her thoughts for a moment as she fallowed him to the pond Setta sitting up a bit and looking around as Vixen walked.

When they reached the pond, Charlie was nowhere to be seen. "Charlie!" called Valefar as he walked into the dark water and looked around. "Where did he go?" he asked himself and was beginning to worry. "Charlie...?" he said; his voice breaking as he did. Charlie then slithered his way over to Valefar who gasped. "Oh you're alive!" he said and happily picked up the little snake-like dragon baby. "You scared me Charlie...I thought you were gone...dead." he said and pet Charlie before turning to Vixen. "There is someone who I suppose you want to meet no Charlie?" he said as he walked over to Vixen.

Setta looked out from where she was pretty much hidden in Vixen's hair and gave a soft almost whining sound as she saw the other dragon and flew out from where she sat on her masters shoulder to look at the other little dragon. She was a bit smaller then Charlie but she wasn't as snakelike as him either, and was a golden color with red eyes that sparkled darkly.

Charlie hissed and puffed out some smoke as he stared at Setta. His yellow green eyes stared at Setta for a long time before looking away at Valefar. "Charlie, this is Setta...she's Vixen's dragon. I know you probably don't like her, so I'll make sure that Vixen keeps Setta away from us both." he explained as he glared at Vixen. Valefar ran a finger along Charlie's dark brown with black scales and sighed in satisfaction. "Well they met...and I don't think they like each other which doesn't surprise me since they are both very different." muttered Valefar.

Vixen watched the two but Setta didn't seem to mind the other dragon which confused her a little. "That's odd... Setta is a demon dragon.... " she murmured softly though then took Setta into her hands and turned. "If you are done talking to me then I will go and see if there is any cleaning I can help with." she said softly ready to leave when Valefar said that she could not wanting to upset him more then she already had.

Setta's a demon dragon? Well she's a picky one I suppose." he said as he set Charlie down in the pond then turned to face Vixen when he heard Eofe. "Ah, there you are Missy! I was afraid you had run off!" she said and stared at Setta then at Valefar. "I'm sorry sir if she disturbed you." said Eofe with a bow. "It's fine Eofe, I punished her enough for now." he replied and glared at Vixen. "You go and put Setta away and continue helping Eofe around the house. I want the whole house cleaned by dinner time." he ordered as he walked by them and left into the castle. "Yes sir..." said Eofe with a bow. "Come along Missy." she said to Vixen.

"Picky?" Vixen asked looking back at him curiously then shivered at the mention of a punishment. She then nodded a bit and fallowed Eofe quietly after she had put her dragon back and easily started cleaning around the house doing a good job of it at that... but she also didn't want to get in trouble either.

Valefar walked over to his room. "I'm certain that she'd never find me here...maybe I can get some peace and quiet for a while..." he said as he sat on the bed and stared out his window, trying to relax again. Eofe looked over at Vixen every now and then, making sure that she didn't leave. "So Vixen is your name?" she asked as her purple eyes looked at Vixen, waiting for an answer.

"Yes... my name is Vixen... or Vixy... Anniyetta... but... I've been dissowned." Vixen sighed softly as she worked not looking up really just making sure that everything was right and perfectly clean before moving onto the next thing.

Eofe nodded and continued to clean the mirrors on the walls. "Yes, I heard. Poor thing, you must feel terrible, but do not worry...I'm sure you'll like it here after a while and who knows, you might even make a friend or two." she said reassuringly.

"Thank you... that's really nice of you... I actually feel a little more comfortable here then I did in the angel kingdom... If only because I was different." Vixen murmured softly though had smiled at Eofe before going back to cleaning. She knew that her kind hated her... she didn't understand why but she just knew that they did.

Eofe smiled back and shrugged. "Just because I'm a demon doesn't mean I'm cruel you know." she explained and wiped her hands when she was done cleaning the mirrors and moved on to clean whatever came next. It took a while before they were finally done cleaning the house and Eofe turned to Vixen. "Well now, I have to got help with dinner...you can roam around the castle I suppose. Just stay out of trouble." explained Eofe before heading over to the kitchen. Valefar took a deep breath and then let it out slowly as he relaxed.

"Okay... don't worry I won't get myself in trouble... and I know all demons aren't cruel... just like all angels aren't nice... like my parents weren't." Vixen murmured softly before going and walking off to the library where she found her two guardian's waiting.

"So I'm guessing Valefar wasn't so happy with Setta was he?" Sinz asked and Vixen shook her head. "No not really... but... hopefully he won't do anything to harm any of us unless I do something to upset him... which I am trying hard not to do.
