Valefar blinked and looked around his room and then looked inside his closet. "Where is it?" he asked himself and smirked. "Aha! Found you!" he said and pulled out a case carefully then placed it on the bed and opened it. A beautiful black Violin sat there with the black bow beside it. "I haven't played you in so long." he said and carefully picked it up. Valefar then tuned it and decided to play it.

Vixen paused as she was speaking to her two guardians and listened closely. "That music.... it's so pretty..." She said softly as she stood from where she had been sitting and moved to the door of the library and stepped out into the hall. The music was coming from down the hall... but for whatever reason she didn't think it was a good idea to go down there... something about the way it sensed... she thought it was Valefar... that was probably why she didn't want to go that way... he didn't want her bugging him so she wouldn't.

As Valefar continued he wondered if Charlie would like to listen to the music. "Maybe...who knows. I wouldn't want to disturb teh little guy though..." he said to himself and continued to play as he stood and walked to his door thinking. It would probably make no difference if Charlie heard it or not...it didn't matter. Leaning against the door of his room, Valefar concentrated on playing the music and nothing else.

"I bet that's the prince... he probably learned how to play the violin just like you learned how to play the flute." Souls said softly and Vixen thought some. "But why would a demon learn to play such a beautiful instrument?... I thought demons didn't do things like that?" Vixen murmured softly and the two shrugged a bit. "Well you're not exactly angelic and you learned the flute beautifully." Sinz said and Vixen snorted. "I was forced to from a young age I don't think that counts" she muttered crossing her arms.

Valefar was so concentrated on the music, that he didn't even hear Eofe call out for dinner. Everyone sat at the dinner table and frowned. "Where's the prince?" asked the Queen. Eofe looked around. "I called him down for dinner..." she said and went outside to see if he was outside. The Queen sighed and shook her head disappointed.

"He's in his room... he probably didn't hear Eofe." Vixen said softly as she sat there with her two guardians though was pretty sure that's where he was since she knew he wasn't in the garden or in the library..

The queen looked over at Eofe. "Go get him!" she ordered. Eofe quickly nodded and went over to Valefar's room. When she raised her fist to knock, she stopped and listened to the music and gulped before knocking three times. Valefar heard this and stopped playing the music before opening the door. "Yes Eofe? what is it?" he asked as he put his Violin away along with the bow before closing it up and placing it under his bed now for faster access. "Dinner is ready sir, the queen sent me to get you." she explained as she looked down at her feet. "Well, let's go then." he said and brushed past her and headed over to the kitchen. When they got there, Eofe began to serve the dinner as Valefar sat and said nothing. "Were were you?" asked his father. "In my room..." he said quietly. "Doing what?" he asked again. At this, Valefar smirked. "Relaxing..." he answered as he glanced at his father.

'so it isn't normal for a demon to play an instrument.... hm...' Vixen thought a bit as the food was served and she started to eat after the prince did. She actually ate her food this time since it wasn't rotted.... it actually looked normal and not like it had been sitting in a dumpster for a few weeks. She knew it had just been something that the cook put in the food to make it rotted.

Valefar looked at his parents then down at his dinner and began to eat it. If he was right, Vixen was probably going to ask what had made the music, or she was going to act as if she never heard it and follow him around like a puppy until she found out what made the music. Go ahead...investigate all you want, even if you DO find out, I'll keep you quiet. he thought to himself as he continued to eat his dinner.

Vixen stayed quiet through the meal as usual and once she had finished she stood and walked into the kitchen seeing if there was anything she could help with. She ended up helping clean up any mess that was in the kitchen and then waited for everyone to finish eating so she could help clean up the dining hall. She really didn't seem to mind helping at all and sometimes a few of the other maids would talk to her and try to get to know her, which she liked and didn't really expect.

When everyone was done eating, they all went back to what they were doing. The queen went out to her garden, the king left to his study and Valefar looked over at Vixen before starting to head to his room then stopped. "Eofe, come here..." he said. Eofe quickly was at his side. "Yes sir?" she asked. Leaning in closer, he stared at her coldly. "You heard nothing when you came to my room..." he hissed quietly. "If you speak a word about it to anyone, I'll make sure you are gone by tomorrow." he said before turning and heading to his room. Eofe blinked and watched him leave. "Yes sir..." she whispered.

As they all went their seperate ways Vixen moved to start cleaning but couldn't help but notice how the prince was whispering... almost like anger.... but she hadn't seen him talk to anyone else like that... well other then her.... what could Eofe have done to make him mad? She thought that he was pretty close to Eofe.... well that's how it seemed anyway. After about ten minutes the dining room was clean and Vixen left the room and headed to the library wondering slightly where the prince had went... she kinda wanted to know what that music was.

Reaching his room, Valefar losed his door and grabbed the violin case from under his bed and placed it on top of his bed. Smirking, he opened it and gently grabbed his black violin and bow. "What to play...?" he asked himself and began to play different notes before finally thinking of a song to play and began to play it hoping that no one would interrupt him now.

"There it is again...." Vixen whispered hearing the faint sound of a violen being played and left from the door of the library and walked down to her room where she could hear the music better. She knew which room it was coming from... she was pretty sure she knew who it was... but she didn't want to make him even more mad at her and let him know she knew where his room was... so she just leaned inside her room against the door frame with her eyes closed. "Why do you refuse to go see if it's him?" Sinz asking and Vixen looked at her as she saw her sitting on her bed. "Because... I don't think he wants anyone knowing that it's him.... and I don't want to get in trouble with him again... he already thinks I stalk him which I don't... I just happen to run into him when I'm cleaning." she muttered crossing her arms a bit.

Valefar then suddenly stopped and cleared his throat. He had gotten really thirsty so decided he should go out to get something to drink. Carefully, he placed his violin and bow on his bed and opened his bedroom door then closed it behind him. Valefar looked around as he headed to the kitchen, making sure no one saw him. He knew that if his parents found out, he's never hear the end of it and they'd probably take his violin away from him...which was something he didn't want.

Vixen sighed when the music stopped and she stood and walked out the door to her room and down the hall not really paying attention as she went and was kinda looking down at the ground knowing the way to the library perfectly... though she didn't expect to bump into anyone on her way... but she ended up running into someone by mistake and it surprised her enough that she fell back and landed on the ground. "Oh I'm so sorry I wasn't paying attention where I was going." she said then looked up and stiffened a bit. the one person she didn't want to literally run into... and she had.

"Well well, it seems I can't even go for a drink without running into you!" he said and looked down at her. "Get up!" he ordered. "Unless you want me to pull that collar of yours." he hissed and looked around. "Why are you following me Vixen?" he asked. "You must be an extremely curious girl to be following me around all day long. I mean, don't you ever get tired?" he asked curiously. His tiny fangs shone a pearly white in the light as he sneered at her. "Why follow me around when you have places to be cleaning?" he added.

Vixen stood immediately then shook her head. "No no you got it all wrong! I haven't been fallowing you I swear! I was heading do the library. I guess on my way I heard something and it kinda distracted me... I'm sorry." she said but when she heard the comment about him pulling her collar she covered in trembling a little at the thought. She really wasn't trying to fallow him or anything... she didn't mean to keep running into him and she had gotten distracted... but he probably still didn't believe her.

"Shut up!" he shouted and pulled on her collar roughly, causing her to come face to face with him. "You are a terrible liar you know. Go ahead and follow me around like a sad puppy all you want, I don't care. Though, if I catch you following me, if I see you following me...prepare to face the consequences." he warned. "Now get out of my way!" he snapped and pushed her away as he stormed out of there and to the kitchen.

"but I-" Vixen was cut off when Valefar grabbed her collar and she let out a scream of pain as a harsh shock ran through her body for a good two minutes while she tried to listen to what he was saying but it was hard. When he threw her away she just laid on the ground in a heap of pain. Her two guardians came running up and to her side helping her but she couldn't stand. There were light burn marks on her fingertips and around the edges of the collar and her body shook tears falling from her eyes but she made no sound even when Sinz picked her up and took her back to her room. She laid Vixen down on the bed and covered her up before storming out of the room and down the hall to the prince's door where she waited for him with a dark scowl.

Pouring himself a large glass of water, Valefar ordered that Eofe go out and feed Charlie before heading back to his room. He wasn't even at the door when he noticed Sinz standing there. "Can I help you?" he asked as he took a small sip of his water and stared at her. His face showed no expression but he sighed. "If you want to talk, at least let me put my water down in my room." he muttered. It was obvious that she was probably going to yell at him as if that would make some kind of difference in his behavior. Well it would, it would make him much more cruel towards Vixen.

Sinz moved out of the way for him to get into his room but it was clear she wanted to talk... maybe not yell at him... she knew that probably would do Vixen no good so she would try to keep as calm as possible. She waited till he was in his room and set down his water before she spoke. "She hasn't been fallowing you, i can valch for that. Vixen told both me and Souls that she was headed off to the library when she left her room. Acording to Eofe she didn't have anything for Vixen to do so she was actually trying to stay out of your way... to stay out of everyone's way, and go and get a book to read. And besides half the time when she's not working she's a clutz, she runs into others... not just you. You're just the only one she's scared to run into because you'll actually hurt her." She sneared a little but she wasn't lying... it had been a complete accident. She just hoped he knew that.

Valefar looked at Sinz and listened quietly to what she was saying. "Just out of curiosity. You are the demonic guardian of Vixen, correct?" he asked and smirked at her sneer. "Vixen is afraid of me?" he asked and sipped his water again. "That's good. I'm glad to hear it. Now, whether it was an accident and you are telling the truth, I really don't care. The damage has been done and there is nothing we can do about that." he said and then his eyes drifted to his black Violin on the bed which he quickly covered with the sheets.

"Yes but that doesn't mean I lie... because I normally don't... hm... that's the sound that Vixen kept getting distracted by... you're not as slick as you think you are... but no you're right there's no changing what's already been done, but before you say that she's fallowing you again... think twice about it. She's a klutzy tained angel not a stalker." Sinz muttered before turning around. "Oh and don't worry... you're precious little musical secret is safe with me." she grinned lightly before walking out of the room and back to Vixen's room.

Valefar nodded at what she said. "Very well I'll try to keep that in mind." he said and widened his eyes when she said that his secret was safe. "It's not mine..." he said, but she was already gone. "No wonder we get along a bit better...we're both demons..." he said quietly and began to wonder if Vixen liked his music. "Wait...why am I even bothering to care what she likes?!" he asked himself softly. Sighing, Valefar took his Violin and began to play it as he sat on his bed facing the window.
