"Well... Now that everyone's in here I guess I should go ahead and tell why I haven't been feeling the best." Vixen paused as she took a deep breath. "I'm about two to three months pregnant... by Valefar of course." she said calmly before taking a bite of her food and tried not to look at her mothers, sisters, and guardians faces as they stared at the two in shock.

Looking at his mother, Valefar sighed. "Now don't start telling me I've sinned or anything because there is no such thing as a sin since there is no such thing as a god to punish me for it." he stated. Cresil was outraged by this news and slammed a fist onto the table making everyone jump. "You have really lost your mind haven't you Valefar?" started Cresil. "Father...you do understand that it means we have an heir? Aren't you happy proud?" he asked hopefully with a small smile on his face. "Of course not! Why should I be!" hissed his father. "You slept with her! You know how I feel about her, you know it's something I can never and WILL never accept Valefar." concluded Cresil. Usha was silent for a long time before sighing softly. "Of course it's not a sin Valefar....we're just surprised to here this is all." she said and frowned as she looked at Valefar then at Cresil.

Vixen shrunk a bit where she sat and stared down at her plate quietly. "It's not that bad, we already knew that they wanted to get married and were going to get married. It would have happened eventually." Vivian pointed out to Cresil and Usha softly hoping that Cresil would understand. "So wait... I'm... I'm gonna be an aunt! That's cool!" Nixy smiled and Vixen smiled over to her easily glad that someone was happy for them.

"Mother...aren't you happy for me?" asked Valefar. Usha's eyes widened and she looked at him, then at Cresil before frowning and saying nothing. "Who says they're getting married Vivian?" asked Cresil. "No...it's not going to happen. Valefar will just end up getting hurt again and so will everyone else. Nothing good has happened since they fell in love. My son is in constant danger thanks to your daughter...and your daughter is also in constant danger. I think you should all take the past events into consideration. It is obvious that these two are not supposed to be married." he explained. Valefar sighed mentally and just blocked everyone out as he began to eat his food in silence.

"Well maybe that won't happen this time... you can't keep them from getting married you know, they're adults not children. You may never be able to accept Vixen as part of your family but you can't deny your son just because you don't like what she is. I am perfectly fine with them getting married, heck I wish that my father hadn't have been so cruel and had married my mother before she died. YOu know at one point you would stand up against anyone who messed with me just because I was different, why can't you do the same for your own child and the one he loves?" Vivian said honestly and Vixen just stared down at her food before slowly standing and walked away from the table going to the library quietly leaving her family and guardian's watching her worriedly.

"How can you be so sure it won't happen again?" asked Cresil before glaring. "Valefar is my son and I will treat him however I please. You are no one to tell me how to treat my son." he answered angrily but sighed softly when she brought up how he would stand up for her back when he had a crush on her. "Simply because I don't want to. All that time defending you was useless because in the end I fell in love with and married Usha." he answered and looked at his food before eating quietly. Charlie watched Vixen walk away and looked at Valefar as he too ate his food quietly.

"Just because you didn't marry me doesn't mean that you never stood up for me, before you believed that everyone had their own rights... I guess it's just had to believe how much a person can change." Vivian said before standing. "Usha, I will be out in the garden if you want or need me." she said kindly before leaving to the garden. Vixen sat quietly in the library with her face down in her hands crying not caring if anyone came in and heard her. She was upset of course... it didn't seem that anyone but her mother, sister and friends wanted her and Valefar to be happy together... well maybe Usha but she hardly ever spoke up for her or her son.

(I was thinking that Cresil goes to the library maybe just as Vixen is getting up to leave and maybe starts talking to her or something?)

"People change all the time Vivian. If you can't accept that you'll always be disappointed in life." he muttered. Usha nodded and watched Vivian leave before looking at her husband. "Cresil dear...you need to get along with your son. You need to let the past go and just be accepting of him for once." she started. Cresil looked at her confused as he stopped eating. "Go on." he said softly. Usha smiled softly and ran her fingers through his hair. "I love you Cresil, I love my family and I just want you all to be happy. I think that you should really just talk to Vixen and listen to her, to her side of the story. You don't have to apologize...just talk to her. Get to know her and her love for your son." she explained softly before kissing his cheek. Cresil sighed as he listened and looked at her. "You're not going to drop it are you?" he asked. Usha pouted and shook her head. "No I am not. Please dear, for me?" she begged sweetly. Cresil smirked and nodded. "Very well love, just for you." he answered. "Thank-you dear, I love you." she whispered. Cresil kissed the tip of her nose. "I love you too." he whispered.

(wow I'm impressed XD I thought he was a cold hearted ass but it turns out he's not XD well maybe he knows about the risks of a tainted or mixed breed getting pregnant because of Vivian so maybe he wants to ask her why she would take the risk?)

Excusing himself, Cresil walked out of there and began to walk over to the Library. He hadn't even opened the door when he heard her crying inside. Gently he knocked before walking inside and closing the door quietly. He didn't really know how exactly to start a conversation with her so he just walked over to her and left some space between them as he watched her cry. After a long while he sighed, "Why...why do you want to take the risk?" he asked her softly.

Slowly Vixen quieted as she heard someone coming in and when she heard Cresil's voice she looked up at him for a long moment. "I love Valefar... more then anything else in the entire world, I found a way to have a child awhile back when we were living with my cousin... he was worried but when I found out it was possible we started to talk more and more about it... we were both happy at the thought... we didn't care what anyone else thought, we love each other and knew we wanted to get married and eventually have a child. The risk lowered even more after we met Vivian and she told me about ways to make sure nothing bad would happen. I love Valefar, I want to have a life and a family with him, no matter what anyone else says or thinks." Vixen explained calmly before wiping her face and placing one of her hands softly on her stomach that had just gotten a bit bigger... not enough to really notice yet though... well for anyone else to notice anyway.

Cresil said nothing at her explanation and crossed his arms across his chest. "Okay...why do you love him exactly? I would have guessed you'd hate him after everything he did to you." stated Cresil seriously. "You know you can possibly die having this child right Vixen?" he informed and shrugged. "If you say that your mother made it practically impossible for bad things to happen to you, then I guess that's why you're not concerned or even slightly worried about having a child of Valefar's." he mentioned casually. Seeing him leave, Usha finished and watched her son eat. "Valefar dear, have you been sleeping?" she asked. Valefar snapped out of his thoughts and finished eating before looking at Usha. "In all honestly I haven't slept all day." he admitted and yawned. "That's not good dear, come with me." she said and grabbed some milk before warming it up before leading her soon to his room. "Get into bed now dear, get some sleep." she cooed and handed him the warm milk. Valefar blew on it a bit before slowly drinking it all, then handed the empty glass back to Usha and lay down. Usha stroke his hair gently as she watched him slowly fall to sleep. Smiling, Usha quietly walked out of his room and closed the door before ordering that the maids clean up the entire kitchen and to not make any noise then headed out to the garden where Vivian was. Charlie walked out to the lake and stared at the murky water as he ran a hand through the water peacefully.

"I know... That's one of the reasons I've been staying in bed... at least if I'm just in the room I can't get worried... or upset... or stressed... or hurt. And I've been tired allot recently... Valefar doesn't want me standing for too long... when I do I pass out." Vixen said softly then sighed some. "Does there really need to be a reason for love? Why do you love Usha? Isn't it just a feeling that you have for someone when you care for them more then yourself? I love Valefar because he loves me... because he is the only person outside of my family that actually accepts me... and I understand and accept him. We are very much alike." she said softly and honestly.

Cresil smirked and nodded. "I love my wife because of who she was, and who she is. I remember I didn't like her before. When I was Valefar's age I didn't like Usha at all, I liked your mother...believe it or not. I defended her from everyone since she was picked on like you...for being different. Just like you." he started. "I married Usha because I fell in love with her over time, I don't think your mother ever knew I liked her. She and I were just friends I believe. I love Usha...because she has always put up with me and loved me too." he answered and smirked. "How are you and my son Alike?" he asked her curiously.

"That sounds just like me and Valefar..." Vixen said softly then thought some and smiled. "We both love to read books and be outside, we love to relax and walk in different areas to discover how each place is different and look at the beauty each place has. We both love dragons and talking to each other." Vixen said with a bright smile just lighting up her face as she spoke about the different things they had in common and liked about each other... all but the musical part. "Ya know... books are actually the first things we found out that we had in common... talking about the different types of books we liked... in fact we both curl up in bed with a book just about every time we sit or lay down... it's really nice." she said softly still smiling a bit.

"My son the bookworm...just like his father." he said and listened to her speak. "Well, it seems you both have very much more in common than I thought." he admitted and smirked. "If you know he doesn't want you up and about, why don't you listen? I agree with him you know. You're pregnant and it's not good for you or the baby if you walk around to much and get hurt or stress out." he explained softly as he looked at her.

"I asked him to let me eat breakfast in the dining room... I'm laying down all day so my back is kinda sore... I just wanted to sit in an actual chair for awhile... if you're so upset about me being pregnant why are you worried? You haven't agreed with mine and Valefar's relationship from the very beginning.... I don't see how one conversation can change that." Vixen said before looking away a bit before slowly standing and grabbed the book she had been reading waiting for his response before she moved from the table to the door.

((He's trying to be nice and she's being all...mean! It's fine though, he doesn't have to be nice.))

"Your back will always hurt, it's part of the joy of pregnancy." he explained and listened to her before shrugging. "I suppose you're right. One conversation doesn't change anything...in fact, I don't think I'll bother trying to talk to you because it's obvious it gets us nowhere." he said as he watched her. Yes Usha wanted him to talk to her, but it was obvious that Vixen didn't want to talk to him...and honestly that didn't bother him at all. At least now he could say he tried to talk to her and she was being ignorant of the fact that he was tryi8ng to get along with her.

"I'm sorry... and no this isn't from me being pregnant I know... I'm so used to being active that when I'm not my body aches... it happens when I get sick too." Vixen said softly before she started to walk past Cresil though suddenly seemed to go pale and started to fall forward in mid-step.

"You're sorry for what?" he asked and quickly caught her when he fell forward. "Vixen?" he started and gently shook her in his arms. "Vixen!" he said again and cursed silently as he picked her up in his arms and carried her out of the library and over to her room where he lay her down. Quickly, he placed a cold wet rag on her forehead and rubbed some alcohol onto her nose to help her wake up before walking over to the kitchen and making her a special Tea then walked back to her room.

After a few minutes Vixen slowly awoke and then sneezed and wiped her nose before looking around only to realize she was in her old room... now Setta's and Amber's room. She then saw Cresil walking back into the room and looked at him curiously. "W-what happened?" she asked clearly not realizing that she had passed out just a moment after taking a few steps.

"You passed out, what do you think happened?" he asked and chuckled lightly. "Here, drink this. It should help your body relax again and should let you walk around for a while before feeling weak again." he explained as he handed her the cup of warm tea. "You are very lucky no one saw...especially my son. I'm sure he would have scolded you for not being more careful." he commented.

"Great." Vixen muttered before sighing some. "Well... thank you... I really wish I could stop passing out." she said softly before taking the cup of tea and drinking it slowly. After a few minutes she moved and took the cloth from her forehead before sitting up. She guessed he must not have known yet that she had been sleeping in this room since they came back and that she had been sleeping in the same room as his son.
