Vixen nodded before she just cradled Mela and listened to her cooing with a soft smile before seeing her yawn and slowly fall back asleep. Slowly Vixen got up and laid her back in her crib before opening the door for Valefar quietly.

Valefar noticed the door opened and walked inside, looking at Vixen. "Hello love..." he said quietly after noticing Mela sleeping. "You didn't have to open the door for me though, but thank-you." he added and sat on his side of the bed before handing her, her food.

"It's okay you looked like you had your hands full." Vixen smiled before sitting next to Valefar and took her food. She smiled as she ate and seemed really hungry. "When do you think we should try to get married again?" she asked softly and had been thinking abut that for quite some time and hoped he didn't mind her asking.

Valefar ate his food quietly and was silent for a long time after hearing what she said. "Well, I'm not sure. I'm scared that maybe something bad might happen again...it always seems to turn out that way." he started and looked over at Mela. "I wouldn't be surprised if they took Mela away from us to interrupt our wedding again." he said honestly. "For now, I think we should really wait before we try to get married. I don't want you, Mela or anyone else in danger." he added softly.

"Okay, we can wait however long you think we should." Vixen said softly as she leaned over and kissed Valefar's cheek lightly before going back to eating.

"I just don't want anyone to be in danger." he said and sighed softly before poking at his food and continuing to eat quietly. When he finished eating, he placed his empty plate back in the tray and gently wrapped his arms around Vixen's waist as he let her eat.

"I know love." Vixen said softly with a smile as she finished eating and set her plate on the tray as well before hugging Valefar lovingly and kissing him softly on the lips.

Valefar kissed her back softly on the lips and nuzzled her cheek. "We'll get married soon though love, I promise. We could always just get married once you fully recover." he suggested quietly. His hand gently stroke her cheek as he continued to hold her close to him and kissed her forehead.

"I would like that." Vixen said softly and lovingly nuzzled Valefar's neck lightly seeming really happy at the thought.

"I know you would, that's why I suggested it." he said and chuckled. His arms remained around her waist gently as his lips brushed along her jawline, leaving a small trail of light butterfly kisses.

Vixen blushed as she felt Valefar kissing her neck and melted under his touch a bit with a light shiver and soft smile.

Valefar felt her shiver and continued to trail kisses along her jawline and neck lightly. "You okay love?" he asked softly and kissed her ear before tugging on her earlobe gently and smirking.

"Better then okay... and worse at the same time, you know we can't do anything for awhile right?" Vixen said softly before moaning lightly at his teasing.

Valefar listened and frowned slightly before kissing her lips gently. "I know love." he whispered and looked at her. "I'll stop torturing us both." he said as he just held her in his arms lovingly.

Vixen smirked lightly before kissing him back softly and nuzzling him lightly. She felt rather bored right now but knew there wasn't much they could do... not until Mela was bigger at least.

"Love don't be sad. I know it's rather boring not being able to do anything or go anywhere." he commented and held her lovingly in his arms. "I love you...so much." he whispered into her ear before nuzzling her cheek softly.

"Well at least we can read... and maybe in a little bit can we go and sit outside?" Vixen asked with a soft smile knowing that their mothers would love to spend time with Mela and let them have some free time.

"That sounds lovely." he answered and ran a hand through her hair soothingly. "We can go outside and just enjoy the fresh air. You're right, our mothers would really love to have Mela with them for a while." he added and chuckled. He could also play his Violin for her...but that would have to be when no one else was around to see him play.

"We should probably wait till Mela wake's up again... I'm sure it won't be too long." Vixen said softly with a soft smile and a light shiver as she felt his fingers in her hair.

"It's okay love, we can wait all the time you want. As long as I have you in my arms, I'm a happy demon." he said gently as he smiled. His fingers continued to run through her hair as they waited for Mela to wake up.

Vixen smiled and laid her head on Valefar's chest as she hugged him and was just enjoying him stroking his fingers through her hair and being close to her.

"I love you." he whispered as he continued to run his fingers through her hair. He loved her, and he loved Mela too. Ho loved his family, even his parents despite the fact that they were bad parents. "Even though...I hated you at first, I'm glad you came over here because if you didn't arrive....I'd probably be very lonely the entire time." he added softly as he continued to whisper sweet nothings to her.

Months turned into years as Vixen and Valefar raised Mela in as loving of an inviernment as they could. Thankfully Cresil stayed king and was still king so they could have the time to spend with their daughter. About a year after Mela was born Vixen and Valefar finally got married and were easily happy and slowly people started to accept the fact that they were staying together. Mela never gained her eyesight back but instead became almost completely blind at the age of ten. Yet none of that seemed to bother the happy little girl who was rather spoiled... and yet still as sweet as can be. She didn't seem bothered at all by her lack of sight, in fact she enjoyed it sometimes, every few years she would get another pet that she normally took care of, the family already knew her passion, animals.

Today was her 14th birthday and she couldn't be more happy, she had friends and family all around her and she was easily running around in the garden with quite a few kids her age along with her larger pets that made sure nothing ever happened to her... along with the fact that they just loved to play. "I can't believe it's been 14 years already, she grew up so fast." Vixen smiled as she watched the kids and sat beside her mother who smiled and nodded.

Valefar sighed as he walked down the stairs. He had showered and got dressed before drying and fixing his hair. Today was little Mela's fourteenth birthday, time had flown by and it surprised him. Walking out to the garden, he looked around for his little Mela and noticed her running round with the kids and her pets. People said that Mela was spoiled, he always said that she was just being properly loved. Although, he did admit she was a little spoiled, but she was his little Mela, of course he wanted to give her all that she asked for, he wanted her to be happy after all.

"POPPA!!!" Mela squeaked happily before running over and nearly tackling Valefar in a hug giggling happily. Duchess fallowed her closely as she moved and then just rubbed her head lightly against Valefar. She always seemed happy and knew when Valefar was near and nearly always almost tackled him with her hugs. Vixen laughed softly before walking over to the two and watched Mela giggle and hug her father.
