I love you too princess." he said and hugged her back before watching her hug Vixen and walk off to her room. When she was gone, he let out a soft sigh. He was very attached to her...maybe he was too attached? He wasn't sure, but he loved her and it made him happy when she told him that she loved him too. "Little Mela is getting big, isn't she?" commented Cresil. Valefar looked at his father and nodded sadly. "Yes she is. Kids have to grow someday though..."

"But she doesn't seem to be growing up too fast though." Vixen said softly but had nodded to Cresil and Valefar. "I'm so glad she has such a wonderful family, that's all I could have ever wanted for her." she smiled brightly as she hugged Valefar lovingly still looking at Cresil. Everything had seemed to have called down between them, they didn't fight anymore or anything. Cresil had seemed to warm up to her after she had Mela and aloud him to spend as much time with her as he wanted.

Valefar nodded. "Yeah I know, but she's still growing up. I mean, she's already fourteen love. I still remember when she wasn't even four yet." he explained and hugged her back gently. "No worries Valefar. No matter how old she gets, she'll always be your little girl and she'll always love you and Vixen." he explained before taking a bite of his cake. "Your father is right dear." chimed in Usha. Valefar knew they had a point...but it was still saddening to thing that one day she wouldn't be his little girl who would cry in the middle of the night and cling to him whenever she had a nightmare.

Vixen smiled sadly but nodded in understanding before yawning slightly. "You ready for bed love?" she asked with a tired smile up to Valefar as she saw her mother and sister heading to bed along with Charlie and Setta.

"I'll meet you there love...there is just one thing I want to do really quick." he explained and kissed her softly. "I promise I won't take long...but if I do, don't hesitate to go to sleep even if I'm not there." he added and smiled softly.

"Okay." Vixne yawned softly before kissing him softly then went upstairs and got changed before laying down though not falling asleep yet.

Valefar watched her leave and frowned as he walked over to Eofe's room. Her room hadn't been touched since her death, no one had ever entered because he never allowed them to. Walking inside, he carefully closed the door and looked around the dusty room. Nothing was changed, everything was exactly the same as it had been on her last day here. "Hello Eofe..." he whispered and sighed sadly. "I know I haven't spoken to you in a very long time...in years actually, but it's always hard to talk about you. I wasn't ready to talk to you...but I am now. I just wanted to tell you that I miss you. I wanted...to name little Mela after you, but decided not to because I didn't want her to replace you." he explained. "I'm sure Mela would have loved you if she met you...and I know you would have loved her too. Little Mela still knows nothing of you...but maybe one day...when I'm ready and think I can, I'll talk to her about you." he added and quickly wiped his tears off his cheeks.

Eofe's spirit still lingered in her room after her death but didn't really seem restless... actually she just liked being in her room and trying to clean it a bit. She had only seen Valefar a few times since her death but each time she was oh so happy to see him.. yet he never seemed to be able to see or hear her. She smiled as she listened and saw Valefar. She soon moved over and hugged him warmly and for once could actually be seen slightly. "I've missed you Darling. It's been so long... how have your parents been treating you? How old is Mela and how is Vixen and Charlie? Such a sweet young woman she is, I'm so glad you married her." she smiled but was pretty sure he wouldn't be able to hear her... but she still liked to speak to him.

Valefar made sure not to sit on her bed since he didn't want to disrupt the peace. When he saw a glimpse of her, he gasped and walked over to where he saw her before looking around the room. "Eofe?" he said softly. When he didn't hear anything, he frowned slightly. "You probably want to know what you've missed. I can give you a short summary. My parents...mostly my father, have warmed up to the idea of me loving Vixen and have accepted our marriage. Charlie and Setta are officially mates now, you know, they became somewhat human ever since a spell was put on them one day. They've slowly learned to adapt to it and now actually speak fluently like us humans. They also know how to eat properly too. Little Mela just turned fourteen today, she's growing up so fast it's sad. Mela is like Vixen, they both love it when I play the violin...but I haven't played it in a while. My parents actually have shown me some forms of love...but it will never make up for all the years they neglected me, you know you're the only mother of mine Eofe." he explained and smiled sadly.

"but your mother tries." Eofe said softly as she managed to move some of his hair out of his face. "I wish I could meat Mela, it sounds like you and Vixen are raising her well." she said softly as she sat on her bed and looked at Valefar as he stood there. "I wish I could be there for you still... I've missed so much of your life now, before you weren't even sure if you liked Vixen at all... and now look at you, you've married her and have a daughter. I would love it if you brought me a picture of her... and maybe some flowers. I really miss working with your mother in the garden and helping around the house." she said softly since it seemed he could somewhat hear her.

Her voice, Valefar heard Eofe's voice and looked around, stopping when he saw her. "I know she does...but I don't want her to anymore, she had all that time and didn't do anything. I want her to give all her love to Mela. Mela is partially blind...I forgot to mention that, but even so she is a happy child. She loves everyone, and everyone loves her." he said softly and listened to what Eofe was saying. "I'm sure you haven't missed too much, I mean, you've always been watching over me so you probably have seen some things. I promise I will bring you a picture of her, and I'll bring you flowers every day...mother." he whispered before breaking down and crying, hoping no one heard him.

Eofe smiled weakly and sadly before wrapping her arms around his shoulders and hugging him to her lovingly and stroked her hand through his hair. All of this could be felt slightly but if he were to move much he would phase through her for sure. "Unfortunately I have not had the strength to leave the castle, and it's hard for me to even leave my room... but recently it's become a bit easier." Eofe said softly before kissing the top of Valefar's head. "I love you, I hope you know that sweet heart, I always have" she whispered softly as she ran her fingers through his hair.

Valefar didn't move when he felt her hug him and stroke his hair. Instead, he relaxed and listened to her speak. "I don't want you to leave though. I understand if you have to though." Valefar whispered with a weak smile on his face. Listening to her last comment, he chuckled. "I know you love me Eofe. You always have and always will....and I will never forget that." he answered softly as he relaxed into her touch.

"Oh no Dear I would never leave you, I just mean to look at the garden or to have gone with you when you and Vixen left. I haven't even had the stregth to leave my room to see your daughter." Eofe said softly still hugging Valefar and stroking his hair softly.

"Well don't worry Eofe you'll see Mela soon. I'll bring you a picture I promise." Valefar assured. "I could always bring Mela here...but I don't want anyone in here disturbing you." he explained before yawning softly. "Eofe...if you ever need anything, you know that you can always tell me." he commented softly.

"No deary I would love it is you brought her and Vixen in here... honestly it get's quite lonely." Eofe said softly before kissing his head gently. "Go to bed darling, you need your sleep." she said softly before sitting back on her bed and yawned before her spirit slowly vanished once more. "Good night, I love you sweet prince." she whispered softly to him before vanishing completely and seeming to fall asleep.

Valefar smiled at what Eofe said and wondered how Vixen and Mela would react to this. Especially little Mela...would she get scared of Eofe? Most likely, but he still wanted Mela to meet Eofe. "I'll be sure to bring them both here tomorrow, I promise." he assured and relaxed in her arms. "Okay I'll go to sleep then. I love you too mother." he said softly before leaving the room and closing the door behind him, then walked to his own room.

Vixen turned over in bed and looked at the door as she heard someone walking down the hall and smiled some knowing that it would be Valefar. She wondered slightly where he had gone and what he had been doing.

Valefar walked into his room and smiled over at Vixen as he closed the door behind him. "Hello love, I thought you were sleeping by now. I apologize for taking so long." he said quietly as he crawled into bed beside her. "I love you." he whispered softly.

"It's okay love, where were you?" Vixen asked softly as she hugged Valefar and kissed him lovingly on the lips

Valefar kissed her back lovingly on the lips and held her close. "I went to visit Eofe." he answered quietly and smiled sadly. "I was able to see her and feel her when she hugged me. She really wants to see you and meet little Mela you know." he stated softly.

"You mean she's still here? But how could you feel her love?" Vixen asked and had so many questions... but she was tired and there was no way she could get all the answers tonight.

Valefar listened to her but shook his head. "Love, I can't really explain it. Why don't we get some sleep...you can ask me all your questions tomorrow." he suggested as he nuzzled her cheek tiredly.

"Okay." Vixen smiled with a soft yawn before hugging Valefar and kissing him one more time before she fell asleep in his arms happily.

Valefar yawned and snuggled with Vixen in his arms. He was happy as he slept and couldn't help but wonder what tomorrow would bring. In his dreams, all he saw was his family being happy about something...and that made him happy too.
