the next day came quickly and sometime during the afternoon Mela was sitting outside with one of her friends just chatting. "Hey Mela? What's in that room?" the girl asked and Mela looked back then frowned some. "I don't know... Every time I try to go in there the door's locked." she said softly and her friend smiled some. "Why don't we go ask your dad?" she smiled and Mela smiled as well. "Sure!" she smiled easily before they got up and headed inside to find Valefar.

Valefar was writing himself a reminder to bring Eofe some flowers later today as well as taking Vixen and Mela there too. "What flowers would she like I wonder." he asked himself quietly. Eofe loved all kinds flowers so it shouldn't be too hard to find her some fowers. Sighing softly, Valefar walked out of his room and headed downstairs.

"Hey Poppa? What's in that room?" Mela asked as she saw Valefar walking down the hall and had her friend Mair fallowing her quietly as she looked around seeming to analyze everything around her very carefully.

Valefar stopped and looked at Mela then at her friend. "What room exactly?" he asked her softly. It then came to his mind that she was talking about Eofe's room. "Mela sweetheart...there is nothing in that room. Just someone very special to me who really wants to meet you. I don't want to see you or anyone in that room unless I allow it." he explained before walking out to the garden and looking at flowers.

Mela watched Valefar curiously before looking at her friend with a quisitive expression. "No one has went in or out of that room in years... why would Poppa say that there was someone in there?" she asked Mare quietly and she frowned before walking up to the door. She softly placed her hand on the door and then closed her eyes to focus before gasping some and taking a step back. "What?! what's wrong Mair?" Mela asked and Mair looked at her with confusion on her face. "Someone died in there... and they haven't left... I didn't know that you had anyone in your family that had died recently." she said and Mela frowned before shaking her head. "No one's died around here... as far back as I can remember anyway..." she said softly before looking around and wondered where Valefar had went or where her mother was not knowing she was busy in the kitchen.

Valefar had gathered a variety of flowers and smiled. "I'm sure that Eofe will love these. I should go give them to her now before I forget." he said as he began to walk to Eofe's room. When he saw Mela and her friend at the door of Eofe's room. "I told you not to go here." he said softly before slowly opening the door and peaking inside. "I brought you flowers as I promised." he said and grinned before closing the door behind him.

"But we didn't go in." Mela said softly then tried to look around Valefar before he shut the door behind him. "Oh thank you Deary, but who is at the door?" Eofe asked softly and kindly as she walked up to Valefar and appeared before him again.

"No need to thank me...but you're welcome. Oh and that was Mela and a friend of her's." answered Valefar softly as he set the flowers in a vase with water. "I know you want to meet her. You will, I just think it would be rude to bring Mela in here and have her friend wait." He explained softly.

"You can bring them both in I don't mind." Eofe smiled before hugging Valefar once his hands were empty and you could tell she was happy that she was finally getting to see and talk to him again.

Nodding, he hesitantly pulled away and opened the door. "Mela...you and your friend can come inside. Just close the door, I need to go get your mother." Valefar explained before kissing her cheek and going off to the kitchen where he saw Vixen. "Love...can you come with me for a bit?" he asked before wrapping his tail around her waist.

(Mkay now can you be Eofe?)

Mela smiled some before her and Mair walked inside the room and shut the door. At first glance Mela didn't see anyone in there but slowly her eyes fixed on Eofe and she gasped some and covered her mouth. She could see her perfectly... she couldn't see anyone so well... why her? She could tell she wasn't really there... she could see through her.... but she could see her perfectly.

Eofe smiled as she carefully approached Mela and her friend. "You dear must be little Mela. Your father has told me a lot about you, and I am very happy to finally meet you." she said kindly before gently hugging her, hoping not to scare her. Valefar looked at Vixen and began to gently lead her over to Eofe's room. "You're probably wondering who I am. Well, I'm Eofe, I was a maid that worked here, and this is my room. Your father and I were very close friends, he was like a son to me and I was like a mother to himi. He says that I have always been more of a mother to him than his own mother." explained Eofe quietly as she backed away and looked at Mela and her friend.

"But Grandma is really nice..." Mela said as she cocked her head a bit and Mair smiled brightly. "Wow, I've only met a few spirits and you're the nicest one I've ever seen." she said with a bright smile and Mela looked to her for a second before looking at Eofe and cocked her head a bit. "Why hasn't Poppa told me about you though?" she asked quietly. Vixen smiled some though waited for Valefar to open the door feeling a bit nervous now.

Eofe chuckled. "Well sweetheart, maybe he thought you wouldn't believe him, or maybe he just didn't want to scare you." she andewered and sat on her bed as she listened to Mela speak. "Yes, Usha is a very kind person I know, but I have to agree that she hardly ever spoke to your father when he was younger. I was the one that spoke with him most of the time." she explained and looked up as Valefar opened the door and led Vixen inside before closing it again behind him. "Here is Vixen Eofe." he stated and smiled. Eofe then stood up once again and walked over to Vixen with a smile on her face. "Oh my...it's so good to see you again Vixen! How have you been doing?" she asked before sitting back down. "Valefar has told me that life has been wonderful for you anf for him. It seems Cresil and Usha really do like you know, and that makes me very happy to know." she commented before running her fingers through Valefar's hair once he had sat beside her happily.

Vixen smiled brightly when she saw Eofe and tears came to her eyes as she hugged her and was surprised when she didn't phase through. She then pulled away and nodded as she wiped the tears from her face. "Yes, once we left a few unfortunant things ended up happening but because of that I got to meat my real mother and full sister, and I had the most beautiful child." she smiled which made Mela blush and giggle a little. "Um... I know this is really odd to ask now but... how long ago was it that you died Eofe?" Mair asked softly and suddenly which made Mela and Vixen look at her a bit oddly.

"Oh, Vixen dear please don't cry." started Eofe before nodding as she listened to Vixen speak. "Well it was all worth in the end dear, bacause you have such a lovely daughter and a loving husband who makes you happy and is happy just to be with you. I am so glad that you both were able to get married. I know life will throw obstacles at you, but true love can conquer them all." Eofe replied with a nod. Valefar nodded too and then looked over at Mair a luttle confused by her quiestion. Eofe blinked and chuckled. "Well, if I remember correctly, I died approxamentally twenty or more years ago...I can't remember. It was so long ago...Valefar still didn't like Vixen all that much on my last days here. Why do you ask?" she asked curiously.

Vixen smiled and nodded before looking at Mair and sighed. "It was about fifteen years ago because me and Valefar left not too long after that and were gone for probably about two or three months then came back and I had Mela about six or seven months later." Vixen said and Mair paused for a moment thinking deeply. "I'll tell you guys if you promise you won't freak out or get over excited because I'm not sure about it myself yet." she said and Vixen nodded before looking over at Eofe and Valefar.

Valefar narrowed his eyes but nodded. "Go ahead and tell us what it is you want to tell us." he started and looked at Eofe who nodded. "My sweet prince here is right, you can tell us what you need to say, we will not judge you in any way or freak out. Fell free to speak when you're ready." she agreed. Valefar blushed, "I love you mother..." he whispered. Eofe smiled and hugged him, "I love you too dear." she whispered back happily.

Mair took a breath before nodding and looking down as she thought. "Well... My mother doesn't want me to tell many people but... our family is full of very strong healers... and every so often one is born that can heal someone so much that even if they were dead they would be able to come back... so long as a body has been well preserved I can bring them back... I really like Mela, she's my best friend, and I like you two as well... I could try and bring Eofe back if you guys would like that and promise to keep my powers a secret." she explained softly but didn't look up a bit worried about how they would react.

Listening to her, Valefar's eyes widened slightly at what she said. Just the thought of having Eofe back made him happy. He would have her again, they could talk and relax in the garden together...even read books and he would play the Violin for her too. "You can do that?" he asked quietly as he looked at Mair. How would he explain it to everyone though? He knew that his parents were going to ask exactly how it was that Eofe was back when she had clearly died. He couldn't lie to them, but he couldn't tell them what had happened...it was to remain a secret after all...it was what Mair asked for in return to doing this for them. Eofe gasped softly when she heard what Mair said, and clasped her hands together. "Deary that would be lovely! It would be nice to live again and catch up with everyone! Though, if this works...what do we do if the king and queen ask? Should we tell them the secret too?, or would you prefer we not tell them anything?" asked Eofe quietly.

"Just tell them that a friend helped... just don't tell them that it was me. My family... we have to be very careful, we are very selective on who we tell our secret to.... but I feel that you are very missed and I trust Mela and her parents... so so long as you guys and keep this between us I will help... but there are a few little detailed that we must work out before we can do anything, one is getting her body in here without anyone seeing... another is making sure that no one comes in while I am working, also getting me out of here before anyone finds out that she's alive, and finally... whatever she died from... if it wasn't physical like a wound but instead was a sickness, she'll still have a mild version of what had caused her to die in the first place and MUST be watched carefully for the next few days and have someone by her side constantly." Mair explained then took a deep breath once she was done and made sure that everyone understood.

Valefar nodded and looked at Vixen. "Well love, you were assigned to care for her before she died, so you can go back and care for her again when she's back." he started and frowned. "I don't want to lose Eofe if we are able to have her back here, I want to make sure that illness can go away instead fo spreading and killing her again." he continued and looked over at Mair. "I can promise you that no one will ever find out it was you, we'll make sure that we get you out of here before Eofe is back and we'll make sure no one sees you or disturbs you while you're working on Eofe. As for the body being brought here...I'm sure we can bring it in without having anyone see us." he finished and shrugged. It seemed like a very complicated thing, but that didn't surprise him since it was reviving a person that they were talking about, so of course it was going to be difficult. Difficult but worth it in the end. he thought to himself with a small smile. Eofe smiled as she heard this and hoped that she was able to help them in some way, even though she couldn't really leave her room.

"That's fine, I'm probably the only person that can't get the sickness anyway... hey what about Lillia? She can do that one thing where she changes someone's appearence, why don't I go out to where Eofe is berried with you then had Lillia change Eofe's body to look like me and I'll just fly up to our window and stay in our room until everything is finished?' Vixen said and smiled some glad that she remembered about their friends odd powers.

Lillia...yes he remembered Lillia. Valefar hadn't really talked to her in a while, mostly because he never really saw her around much now. "Well love, that's perfect, we'll have to ask her as soon as we see her." he answered and smirked. He'd just have to make sure to explain to her exactly why...well, only if she asked that is. Now they just had to go to where she was buried, and that was going to be pretty interesting. We should get this done as soon as possible. The more we wait, the harder it might become to actually do. he thought to himself.

"Valefar you have no idea where she is do you?" Vixen sighed before she stood and looked at Eofe and then Mair. "We'll be back, we have to do into town." she explained and both Mela and Mair nodded before Mair left to go home and speak with her mother and also to gather supplies. Vixen then grabbed Valefar's hand and lead him towards the carriages where they got in one and started to head to one of the up-scale areas near the town. Lillia had been lucky enough to meat a wealthy noblemen at Mela's baby shower and had married him a few years later. She herself had a little baby boy who was only a few years old by now and came to the castle to visit as often as she could.
