Vixen smiled and nodded before pouring Eofe a glass of milk and pouring herself a glass of tea then handed her the milk. "Well... the king fallowed me when I came out of the kitchen last night after getting you some water and a rag for your head since you were running a fever... I apparently didn't shut the door all the way... I had thought everyone else was asleep so I didn't think anyone would notice. I was wrong, he fallowed me and scared me half to death when I had turned to take the warm water out of the room, he right away started asking questions and I had to shoo him out of the room and get him to leave the hallway before we could speak. He agreed to keep you a secret until you were feeling better though." she explained softly between bites of her food and drinks of her tea.

Eofe listened and widened her eyes slightly. "You shoo'ed the KING from my room?!" she gasped and shook her head. "I am surprised he didn't yell at you or punish you." she started. "What did he say though when he saw me?" she asked and took a bite of her food before sipping her milk quietly. "I am sure that the king had many questions for you then." she said softly before thinking and looking at her with wide eyes. "Was he the only one that saw me Vixen?" she asked in a soft whisper.

Vixen laughed some at Eofe's reaction. "He wasn't really mad... I've shooed him away plenty of times in the past 14 years... ever since... hm probably the day after I had Mela... never once has he even tried to do anything to me, he knows if he does then Mela will hate him for it and, oddly enough, him and Usha adore Mela more then anything else so he wouldn't want that. And besides, he couldn't do anything to me even if he wanted to, Valefar's already threatened him several times." she explained before she started eating again. "Oh and don't worry, he was the only other person awake so no one else saw you and I can tell he won't say anything, for once he actually seems to want Valefar's happiness... again, probably because of Mela." she said softly with a slight shrug. "Oh yeah he did wonder how you were back, why we hadn't told him yet, and stuff like that but not much else" she said softly with a slight nod.

"Cresil, what an interesting man. I'm happy to know he's changed quite a lot now." Eofe said simply before continuing to eat her breakfast silently. "Vixen, would it be much trouble if I asked you to ad more water to that vase with the flowers? I don't want them to die so quickly." she stated softly and with a shy smile. Eofe was never one for giving orders, so it felt odd to ask anyone to do anything. Valefar had finished eating but remained seated there as he began to think back to the various nightmares and wondered if they were connected to something.

"Well... he hasn't really changed that much... I mean sure he doesn't try to kill or hurt me anymore but sometimes I still get the feeling he doesn't like me... I think he is just nicer to me now because of Mela and Vivian." Vixen said softly before smiling and nodding a bit as she finished eated and got up to fill the vace with cool water then sat back down. "So... I know it's probably an odd question, but what was it like? I mean did things look and feel and sound different when you were dead?" she asked softly and curiously.

"You're probably right dear, but at least he doesn't hurt you anymore." answered Eofe softly before thanking her for putting more water in the vase with her flowers. "An odd question indeed, but I saw it coming." admitted Eofe. "Well....things looks slightly duller in color, but not blurry at all. It was clear but the colors were never as bright as they are when you're living. They...they felt soft. If the item was solid, it would feel as if I was phasing through the item, not fully grasping it but holding it anyway." she started, hoping it was all making sense. "As for sound, well everything was quieter. Almost as if it were being muttered or mumbled, but sometimes the words were able to be heard clearly." she answered.

"What do you mean? Did... did you know you were going to die?" Vixen asked softly then paused slightly and smiled a bit. "That's actually quite fascinating." she smiled slightly. "But I'm glad that you're back... I've missed being able to talk with you and having a friend... I mean sure Valefar is my best friend and I do have Sinz, Souls and Nixy but those three are family and Valefar... well sometimes he's funny about things." she said softly then smiled slightly

"No dear, I meant that I knew you'd ask me that question at some point now that I'm back. Eofe clarified and chuckled before tilting her to the side gently. "Funny? What do you mean that he's funny about some things?" she asked, now it was her turn to ask questions it seemed.

"Oh okay." Vixen said then grinned slightly and shook her head. "Different things, like the thing about contact that I told you about yesterday, also he says he's not a morning person but when Mela was little he would pick her up and just love on her in the morning, and every time he wakes up and sees me he smiles and always greats me happily instead of how he acts towards everyone else. Also what's really funny is that when I was pregnant with Mela and while she was little Valefar would talk about not wanting to spoil her, but once she started to talk and asked him for something he would give it to her right away, of course that's why she has.... hm... five pets... well the first one that we gave her was more of a guard and seeing eye dog but then we gave her a demon bunny, Duchess had a puppy, she found a fox that she liked, and about a week ago we got her a snow fox. You would think with everything she gets, even when it's not her birthday, that she would be spoiled rotten but she's actually the sweetest, most thoughtful little girl." Vixen smiled then laughed some. "I'm sorry I got off track it seems." she laughed a little then just smiled at Eofe easily.

Eofe nodded in understanding. "I see, how odd. I think it's sweet though that he spoiled his daughter. You know he does this only because he wants her to have what he didn't." explained Eofe softly. "Mela has a lot of pets, but I am guessing she takes very good care of all of them?" she guessed and chuckled. "It makes me very happy to know that you and Valefar are happy together, you know that's all I've wanted, for you and him to be very happy...together or not." she commented and grinned before coughing slightly and quickly drank some milk to stop the small cough.

"Yes I know, and she's not really spoiled... like she doesn't act it... she takes care of all of her pets herself, whenever she gets new stuff she goes through all of her old stuff and either gives it away or has someone sell it so she can give the money to people that need it... it's amazing really, I've never seen a child do that before." Vixen said then smiled softly and nodded. "And I thank you for that... me and Valefar are very very happy together, even more so now that you're back." she smiled softly but then frowned some when she heard the coughing and felt around in her pockets for a second before pulling out a small bottle of medicine and mixed it in with a fresh glass of tea. "Here take a drink of this." she offered softly since she found it easier to take medicine when it was mixed with something.

Eofe smiled weakly and nodded. "Are you sure you're both happy now that I'm back? I'm not getting in the way am I?" she asked softly and thankfully accepted the tea with medicine mixed in, and took a few sips. "Thank-you. I must say, you've perfected the art of making this tea Vixen." she complimented and grinned. "Your daughter has a heart of gold. It surprised me when she wasn't afraid of me when we first met. I haven't talked to her much, but she seems like a really sweet girl." commented Eofe happily.

"Of course! I mean... right now it might be a little hard for Valefar... probably the only reason we haven't had another child, well other then the worry, is that he doesn't really like sharing, when Mela was born I spent most of my time taking care of her, and for a long while I didn't trust Cresil alone with her, even Usha. Now Vivian, Sinz, Souls, and Nixy were different... but I was still scared that Cresil wouldn't accept me and Valefar and would take that out on Mela. Since she was blind the first few years me and Valefar barely got any alone time... so now that we finally get it I don't think he's too happy about me having to take care of anyone else." Vixen laughed a bit then sighed some. "But, he knows that... well... I felt like I failed you before, and I refuse to let it happen again, I promised you once that I would take care of you and that still counts now." she said softly but you could tell she was very determined to keep her word and not let anything happen to Eofe this time.
She then blushed lightly and gave a soft smile at what Eofe said next and laughed a little. "Well I did help you make it before... it was pretty much the only prepared drink I could drink here back then, so I'm glad you like it. And yes, Mela is always very surprising" she agreed with a bright smile and nod.

Eofe burt out laughing at what Vixen said about Valefar not liking to share, but stopped and drank some tea whne she began coughing again. "I'm sorry, I thought that was funny is all. I agree though, Valefar hates sharing...I don't know why but he just does." agreed Eofe before shrugging and gently moving some hair from Vixen's face. "Dear, you don't have to be with me all the time, If I need something I'll ring the bell. It's not good to neglect your husband or your daughter." mused Eofe before chuckling. "Well I love it, and I'm glad you like it too." she said with a small smile. "Mela is as surprising as her father huh?" guessed Eofe. Valefar snapped out of his thoughts and looked at Mela chatting with her guardian and said nothing as he quickly left to his room and looked at the song notes again as he began to practice them and added more notes, trying to make the song better.

"Well I'm certainly not neglecting either of them, at this time Valefar is normally too groggy to chat so normally what happens is we laze around in bed cuddling, Mela is normally chatting with her guardian about this time or feeding or playing with her pets, so right now I would either be laying in bed reading with Valefar, checking on Mela, or on my sister, or helping clean up after breakfast, so I'm not missing anything." Vixen reassured before smiling slight with a slight laugh. "She's a daddy's girl and does seem to act like him quite a bit, you know when she was a baby she always wanted him to hold her and then he would start asking me what she wanted because she would be reaching up trying to grab his face, of course when she was a baby she was nearly completely blind so that was what she would do to know who was holding her, but it was still so cute." she smiled and you could tell she loved her daughter and husband very very much.

Eofe smiled sadly at this. "I wish I was there to be able to hold baby Mela...but at least she grew up like she did. All I want is for everyone I care about to be happy you know. If they are happy, then so am I." she whispered, smiling. "Tell me...does Valefar still play the violin...and do his parents know he does?" she asked curiously. "I remember he would hide away in his room or in the library to play, he never liked anyone knowing he played it and much less allowed people to disturb him while he played or practiced." she asked and tilted her head to the side. "Has he gotten better?" she asked. Valefar groaned, rather annoyed as he rubbed his forehead and continued adding notes and testing their sound out.

"Well now more people know about him playing the violin but no not his parents and no one that lives... well has lived here, Sinz, Souls and the others know, Mela loves to listen to him play and so do I and he has gotten better, he's working on a new song right now though I think so he's getting irritated." Vixen said then smiled some. "And sometime I'll have to show you pictures of Mela as a baby, hopefully you'll be able to see our next child whenever we choose to have one." she said softly with a soft smile.

"Another child? Well I'm sure Mela would love a little brother or sister." started Eofe. "I see, well good. I don't think his parents would be fond of him playing an instrument. The king and queen always believed that demons should never play instruments. Demons are meant to be feared, not admired." commented Eofe with a shrug. "In all honesty, I approve of Valefar playing his Violin, I think it's lovely and it makes him happy." she added. "So he's working on a song? I'm sure it will sound lovely when he finishes, It's a shame that he's getting frustrated...but I understand. Music is frustrating work, especially when you want it to come out perfectly. We all know Valefar is a perfectionist when it comes to his music." she stated with a chuckle.

"Well they might have to get used to music because Mela's been asking about either playing the flute like me or playing the violin like Valefar." Vixen said with a light grin before sighing softly. "well do you need anything right now? Some more tea? Maybe something more to eat?" she asked since she wanted to check on Mela before going to talk to Valefar.

Hearing this made Eofe smile and fix her bonnet, making sure her elf ears were hidden. "Such a sweetheart, I'm sure she'll play anything rather lovely." assured Eofe before thinking slightly. "Some more tea would be lovely...and something light to eat, maybe a salad with meat bits or some fruit?" she suggested happily.

Vixen smiled and nodded before she headed off and was back within ten minutes with a salad and a few fruits along with some fresh tea. "There ya go, just ring the bell if you need anything else." she smiled softly before heading off to check on Mela then went back to hers and Valefar's room where she walked in and smiled as she saw him playing his violin and closed the door.

Valefar let out a sigh through his nose as he continued to play the notes and set his Violin down. Grabbing the pencil from between his lips, he jotted down the new notes and fixed any mistakes before glancing behind him only to see Vixen. "Hello love." he said quietly and opened his arms for her to come to him. "How is my lovely wife doing?" he asked with a small smile.

Vixen smiled brightly as she went over and hugged Valefar nuzzling his neck softly. "Pretty good, oh sometime I think Eofe would like to listen to you play." she smiled then kissed his cheek softly. "how are you?" she asked with a happy smile.

"Well I'll play for her once I can actually finish writing this song." he answered and kissed her forehead softly. "I'm okay, just working...I guess you can say. This song is frustrating but I almost have the perfect song. I just have to keep checking the notes I currently have and then add or remove a few." he explained and wrapped his arms around her waist as his eyes looked at the notes before looking at her and nuzzling her cheek.

Two weeks past and everyone had seemed to take Eofe being back rather well, she was no longer a servant in the house but still liked to help just as Vixen did. Nizy hadn't been seen much ever since Eofe's presence had been announced and Souls stayed by her most of the time... but so far no one could figure out what exactly was wrong with her. Mela had easily been spending time talking and gardening with Eofe and even introducing her to her friends. Today however Mela was just playing around outside with her pets and not even paying attention as it was already starting to get dark.
