Valefar balled up his hands into fists and stared at her. "You did this...!" he hissed. "You practically killed the only maid I ever cared for in this castle. The only one who I could consider a friend...and now she's gone." he said and took a dew steps toward Vixen. "How could you!" he cried. "Have all my punishments taught you nothing! Have they all gone to waste?!" he asked. "I want to yank that collar of yours until you die from the pain!" he exclaimed. "It's useless though because no matter how I punish you, you never learn!" he cried and shook his head. "You sicken me..." he hissed. "You are much more reckless than a newborn child!" he yelled.

Vixen stopped when she heard Valefar getting after her and slowly she turned wiping the tears from her cheeks and eyes as she did so. "Do you honestly think I meant to get her sick? I told her to stay away... I didn't want her to get sick... but she wanted to help me and wouldn't listen... I stayed up for two nights straight trying to help her get better... I would have never hurt Eofe... she was like a friend to me. I knew I should have stayed up last night with her too... but she told me to go to bed. I feel very guilty for getting her sick... but I did everything I could to try and help her get better... but... if you want to blame me and hate me for making her sick... if that is what will make you feel any better... then go ahead... hate me... dispise me.... but know that Eofe was my friend too." she said softly her voice cracking a little every now and again as she just looked down at the ground a tear or two hitting the ground every now and again.

"Your friend?!" he snapped and laughed harshly. "Oh please Vixen! You have no friends here!" he he hissed. "Here, you are all alone, you have no one here but your guardians and pets!" he said. "I try being nice to you...and this is how you repay me?" he asked and lifted her face harshly to look into her eyes. "Just because people are kind, doesn't mean they're your friends." Valefar explained. "And no, I don't think you wanted to get her sick...maybe I this was just an accident. It still doesn't make it right!" he cried. "I hate you so much right now that I just want to tear your body into shreds and burn it since I know Charlie wouldn't even eat you!" he growled and backed away. "I won't though. I won't because I don't kill people and because I already lost a maid...I don't need to loose another..." he said and left to the pond.

Vixen couldn't help but whimper a little when she heard Valefar and felt him tip up her chin and make her look at him. When he let go of her she was frozen in place and then fell to her knees looking down at the ground as silent tears fell from her eyes. She wiped them away and silently walked back to her room and shut the door behind her before sitting on her bed and kicking off her shoes then curled up in a ball silently letting the tears fall as she closed her eyes and didn't care right now if she had work to do or not... she was sure Eofe would understand if she were still there... but his words did make her think some... wasn't Eofe her friend? They laughed and talked while they were working... and they helped each other... and she tried to take care of Vixen while she was sick... wasn't that stuff that friends did for each other? She wasn't sure... but one thing was for sure, she didn't leave her room for the remainder of the day. A few of the maids questioned where she had went... and she didn't even make it to lunch or dinner... she wouldn't answer her door either to get food... and Sinz and Souls were no where to be found either... not even to answer the door...

The rest of the day went on in silence. Valefar spent most of his time outside in his mother's garden or out in the pond with Charlie. He didn't even want to play music since he was to depressed to even try. When he heard that Vixen was gone, he suggested she was just too upset to do anything. "She already caused enough trouble, I think she's worn out from all she'd done today..." he replied to a maid as he waled into the dining room and began to eat his dinner quietly.

It was quiet throughout dinner and it seemed nearly everyone was down... well the king and queen not as much... but all of the servants seemed to be very down. A few even looked to see if Vixen was at dinner... but no luck. Some felt bad for her... they had heard how the prince had yelled at her while she had already been upset... they had seen how nice Eofe was to her... and how nice she was to Eofe, how they actually seemed to be friends... and how much times Vixen spent trying to help Eofe feel better... they felt bad in the thought that the prince blamed her when it really wasn't her fault.

Valefar noticed some maids staring at him. "What?!" he spat, causing them to look away. Standing up, he growled and stormed over to Vixen's room. Knocking three times he opened the door and stared at her. "For the love of satan, what the hell are you doing?" he asked. Closing the door behind him, he noticed Sins and Souls weren't there. "Where are your guardians?" he asked.

Vixen had been laying in her bed curled up under the covers and staring at the wall rather blankly though still looked upset... though she had run out of tears to cry by this time. She then pulled back the covers to reveal a black and red fox laying in her arms who looked over blankly at Valefar... clearly that was Sinz but Souls was no where to be seen. "Can't someone who's sensitive to loosing a friend morn in their own way? Especially if everyone blames the death on them?" she murmured quietly as she closed her eyes and just kept her arms around Sinz softly still having the cover covering her lower half though had Sinz uncovered enough so you could see her.

Valefar stared at the fox, ignoring Vixen for a while. "So this is one of your guardians?" he asked and looked around the room. "Where's the other one?" he asked and looked at Vixen. "Move on...people die all the time, all we have to do is move on." he said simply. "I miss her, I will always miss her...but I know she wants us to move on so we will." he explained and looked at Vixen then at the fox.

"Yes this is Sinz.... I think Souls is asleep somewhere around here... I'm not sure." Vixen sighed then sighed heavily. "It's not that! How would you feel if everyone blamed you for the death of someone who you were taking care of to make sure they didn't die?! And then being yelled at and told that it was all your fault and that that person wasn't your friend when they acted like it?!" Vixen snapped darkly sending a glare towards Valefar then looking away and back at the wall.

"Ah, well that depends. Maybe I was planing to kill the person and made it look like an accident. I'm not sure." he said and shrugged. When she snapped at him he growled. "You don't raise your voice at me you stupid slave!" he yelled and yanked at her collar. "You still want to be friends?!" he teased and laughed. "I sure hope not...I wouldn't be your friend even if you were the last person on this earth!" he spat and glared at her as he backed away.

Vixen cried out in pain as her collar was yanked and shook some curling up more around Sinz as she heard her growl at Valefar. The shock retriggered her tears and she tried to hide them as they fell from her eyes but it was kinda hard the way she was laying... so instead she just hid her face in Sinz fur.

"You are so pathetic..." he hissed as he smirked. "You try so hard to get everyone to like you just because you were the princess once. You're nothing now, and no matter how hard you try to be something, to us you'll always be nothing." he said plainly. "So go ahead and cry, that isn't going to make any difference." he added before turning to the door.

"I never tried to make friends because I was the princess... that's not why I tried to have friends... I wanted to have friends because.... well... I was lonely.... why else wouldn't someone try so hard to make friends?... and I knew nothing would change... I was nothing back home and I'm nothing here... " Vixen said but didn't look up keeping her face in Sinz soft fur.

"If you knew nothing would change, why try to change it?" he asked but opened her door. "I want you working again tomorrow..." he said before leaving her room and heading to the kitchen to eat his desert. The desert looked like some kind of yogurt ice cream. This was his favorite desert and he loved to drizzle red syrup all over it and eat it with black chocolate.

Vixen closed her eyes as she heard her door being shut. "Because maybe I didn't want to be lonely with no friends anymore.... though now with Eofe gone it seems I'm all alone again..." She whispered softly and Sinz gave a soft whine. "You're not all alone... you still have me and Souls and Setta and now Amber too." she said softly and Vixen just sighed. "YOu know what I mean." she murmured quietly as she closed her eyes though didn't really fall asleep.

When Valefar was done eating his desert, he sat in the parlor thinking. He was a bit to harsh with Vixen, maybe. Was Eofe really her friend? I highly doubt it...Eofe was nice to everyone and no one ever called her a friend. he thought to himself. Okay...so maybe Eofe's death was just an accident. Whatever it was, it's over and done with now, no use in trying to do anything about it....we just have to move on. he thought to himself and nodded. "We will move on...but now it's time for me to sleep." he said with a small yawn as he headed up to his room.

It didn't feel like Vixen had even closed her eyes when morning arose and she didn't feel like she had slept at all. She slowly sat up thinking some though then just sighed and got up to get dressed. She walked out of her room with her hair fully brushed... but some people seemed to look worriedly at her. She looked tired and not well. But she wasn't sick... it was just that she didn't feel well at all. She went about chores having taken over most of Eofe's and didn't speak to anyone. No one glared at her today.... they could see it hadn't been her fault and after what happened yesterday with her locking herself in her room and not coming out all day... they didn't want that to happen again. So instead they just made sure not to get in her way while she was cleaning and mostly the halls were silent.

Valefar was in his room writing in his journal when his parents walked in. "Valefar..." started his father. Valefar stopped writing and turned to face them. "Mother, Father...what brings you two here to my room?" he asked and looked at them calmly. "Valefar, Vixen...she looks ill." explained his mother as she walked over and set beside him. "I see...and what about it?" he asked. "Why not go check on her and see if she's okay..?" suggested his mother. "Well she only feels horrible because Eofe died and everyone hates her for it." he explained and was confused when his mother began to stroke his hair gently. "Go check on her anyway." ordered his father. Sighing, Valefar nodded. "Yes father..." he muttered and marched out of there to go check on Vixen.

Vixen was in the library making sure that everything was in it's place and dusting shelves as she went. she wasn't really paying attention to anything around her though knew that no one else was in the room other then her.

Valefar looked around and looked at the maids. "Where is she?" he asked. "I believe she went to the library sir."answered one maid. Valefar quickly went to the library, knocking before walking inside and closing the door behind him. "Well aren't we a little ball of sunshine..." he teased and stared at her. "Stop making a scene...what's wrong with you?" he asked. "You're dragging yourself around like a dirty old rag!" he sighed and shook his head. "My parents think you're ill. If you're just going to sulk all day now, why not sulk in your room where no one can see you?" he suggested.

Vixen looked over to the door when she heard it open then sighed a little when she saw Valefar and listened to him a bit. "I am not moping around... I'm just doing my job... and I'm not sick either." she said softly and it seemed she hadn't even realized that the way her eyes looked so tire made people think she was sick or mobing.

Valefar stared at her and chuckled. "You really are a bad liar." he said to her. "I mean, have you seen yourself in a mirror lately?" he asked and shook his head. "Your eyes...they give away the feeling that you feel very ill and weak." he explained and sighed. "If you want to do your job, do it correctly and stop moping around." he said calmly.

"I'm not moping! I just didn't get any sleep last night okay? I haven't slept well in the last about week" Vixen sighed shaking her head a bit. "And really right now I don't care if anyone hates me.... I made a promise to Eofe that I would take over her work if she was unable to... I believe this counts." she murmured softly before going back to cleaning knowing full and well that VAlefar would probably get irritated at her thinking she was yelling at him or something when she wasn't... or thinking that she was lying when she wasn't.

Valefar growled but didn't even do anything. "I don't even know why my parents sent me to check on you." he said and turned to face the door. "It's useless, nothing I say is going to make a difference to you, so I really don't know what they bother to send me to you. It's not like you'll listen anyway, you never do." he added quietly.
