As usual, Cresil was busy looking through books and paperwork in his study. He was basically done, but he was just now looking it over to make sure it was done correctly before sending it off to where it had to go. Usha was just walking out of her room and heading towards the kitchen, but stopped and peaked inside Valefar's room. Smiling, she saw how Valefar's tail was dangling off the side of the bed and Valefar continued to sleep. "Such a sleepy boy he always was." she said to herself before closing the door and walking down the stairs.

Vixen sighed as they finished talking and then lead them both to the dining room where she saw Usha going to sit down and gave her a smile. "Good morning Usha, did you sleep well?" she asked softly as the two sat down with Vixen quietly unsure if they should speak or just stay quiet around the king and queen.

Usha sat down and waited for Cresil but smiled at Vixen. "Good morning Vixen. Ah yes I slept wonderfully, as wonderfully as Valefar is sleeping right now. That boy has always been a heavy sleeper and grumpy morning person." answered Usha. "What about you Vixen, how did you sleep?" she asked and smiled when Cresil walked inside. "Good morning Vixen, good morning dear." he said, his loud voice sounding slightly tired but happy. "Good morning dear, how's the paperwork going?" Usha asked. "It's done, I'm just looking it over to make sure it's done correctly before I send it off." Cresil answered.

"I actually slept rather well last night." Vixen smiled then looked to Cresil and gave him a slight smile. "Good morning Cresil." she said softly and then glanced at her brother and sister who were quiet but clearly surprised by the kindness that Usha and Cresil were showing Vixen compared to the letters she had sent years ago about how cruel they had been... of course allot had changed in... what? 17 years?

"Ah well that's good Vixen. I must say, Mela is growing into a lovely young lady. Children...they grow up much too fast I think." Usha said and frowned. "I still remember when Valefar was a tiny little boy, running around breaking things. He would always play in the lake out in the back, I should probably show you pictures." said Usha with a grin. "Dear, I don't think Valefar would appreciate that." stated Cresil. "Oh dear, but I'm sure Vixen is curious. Besides, what Valefar doesn't know won't kill him." she answered.

Vixen couldn't help but laugh some as she listened to Usha and the thought of seeing baby pictures of Valefar. "Well I can assure you that I will probably love to see those." she laughed slightly before looking at the two sitting beside her as the food was being brought out and saw the two looking rather sickly and couldn't help but smirk. "Don't worry there is normal food but all angel food is pretty much banned... well except for some occasions when I'm out and get some sweets.... just try not to grab anything that doesn't look quite right." she said and the two looked at her then nodded and started t fill their plates with the normal food.

"See dear? Vixen wants to see them and she shall. After we eat I'll go get the album and we'll look through them all you and I both Vixen." Usha said and smiled as she began to eat her food happily. Cresil chuckled slightly but knew that Valefar would not be pleased if he found out about this and started eating silently. After a few more minutes, Valefar hesitantly got out of bed and got dressed dressed before slowly walking down the stairs, yawning loudly to let everyone know he was awake.

Vixen smiled easily before she started to eat again and then looked up as she heard Valefar yawn and laughed slightly. "Sounds like a grumpy bear doesn't it?" she couldn't help but laugh to Cresil and Usha then looked at Son(S-on) and Sinuki as they sat there eating quietly. "You know you two don't have to be so quiet... this would be a good time to introduce yourselves." she pointed out softly as they both looked up and Sinuki seemed really nervous and shy while Son seemed a little on edge about talking right now.

"A very grumpy bear indeed, so let's be careful now." warned Usha. Just then Valefar walked in and plopped down at his seat and grabbed himself some food. "Good morning Mother and Father." he muttered and ran a hand through his hair. "Good morning love. Good morning...everyone else." he added sleepily and silently began to eat. "Good morning Valefar dear." answered Usha. "Good morning Valefar." answered Cresil. "Vixen, if they don't want to talk it's fine. We can't force them to." said Cresil quietly.

"Well normally they're both very talkative." Vixen said with a slight sheepish smile as her brother paused for a moment before looking at the others. "Thank you... for letting us stay here while we look for a place to live... Oh... also my name is Son... and this is my youngest sister Sinuki." Son said softly and Sinuki gave a sheepish smile before looking down at her plate again. "Good morning love, I noticed you were sleeping very well last night." Vixen smiled softly as she leaned over and gave Valefar a soft kiss on the cheek then went back to eating.

"Oh, you're quite welcome." answered Usha with a small smile. "It's nice to meet you both, Son and Sinuki. I'm Queen Usha, this is my husband King Cresil, and my son, Prince Valefar." Usha introduced themselves and took a bite of her food. Valefar yawned again and smiled tiredly at the kiss. "Well yes, I was very tired love...and still am. I wasn't going to wake up but I was getting hungry so that's why I'm here. How did you sleep love?" he asked her softly before taking a bite of his food.

"I've heard quite allot about you all, I'm so glad that you and my little sister are finally getting along, it's so good to know that she's around people that actually accept her." Son said since everyone already knew that Vixen had had a rough past in the angelic kingdom.

"I slept very well... much better since you were beside me. I hope this means you'll be coming to bed sooner from now on... I think you really need more sleep then you have been getting." Vixen said softly and you could tell she just wanted what was best for her husband and clearly loved him allot.

"Well it was tough trust me...but after a very long time we just grew fond of her and actually accepted her here. It makes me very happy to see just how much she loves Valefar, despite how he treated her before." explained Usha as she sipped her drink.

"That's good love." he started and frowned slightly. "No love it does not, I might go to bed sooner...but there will be times when I won't because I'll be...writing things in my journal." he explained and looked at her for a bit before eating. He would have said he'd be writing and fixing songs...but he didn't think that would be smart to say.

Vixen frowned sadly but nodded then smiled slightly at Usha when she said they were 'fond' of her. "Oh come on now Usha, we talk all the time now, doesn't that count for more then just fondness?" Vixen smiled with a slightly laugh as her brother and sister listened and watched her talking to Usha. Really they were shocked at all of this... even after reading all of her letters they still couldn't believe that they were all getting along now.

Usha looked over at Vixen and chuckled. "You're like the daughter I never had because I didn't want any other kids after Valefar was born." she said sweetly. Cresil chuckled at this though and Valefar only smirked and kissed Vixen's cheek. "My mother loves you Vixen and so do I." he said as he finished his food and nuzzled her cheek. "Love, can I speak to you alone for a bit?" he asked but didn't let her answer and took her hand before looking at her siblings and narrowing his eyes as he led her out of there and into the parlor. "You're upset with me aren't you?" he asked her.

Vixen smiled brightly with a slight laugh then looked at Valefar and nodded before looking at him with surprise as he pulled her out of the dining room and looked at him softly. "No Valefar.... I just miss sleeping curled up to you at night... I miss falling asleep in your arms and getting to chat and take walks with you during the day... is it so wrong for me to be upset about that? I love you Valefar... meaning I love to spend whatever close time I can with you... and I miss it when I can't." she said softly and lovingly but was trying not to upset him like she had the day before.

Valefar frowned as he listened to her and smoothed out her hair. "Vixen, is that what you've been noticing more and more recently?" he asked and sighed softly. "I've been thinking all night yesterday about what it was you noticed. I began to wonder if I had changed so much. I wondered if I changed into something you didn't like...I wondered if you changed but I know you didn't because you're the same person you were when we first met. So I continued to think and think. When I got tired of thinking I went to bed...but it's killing me because I don't know what it is that I need to do to make you the happy person you once were." he said and balled up his hands into fists. "I just want you to smile again like you used to. Your smiles seem forced now and out of place. Is it my writing that you want me to stop doing? Do you want me to stop writing and fixing songs now?" he asked, and you could tell he wanted her to be truly happy again, and that it was killing him inside since he didn't know how to do that.

"No... I want you to do what you want... but also... I would like to spend more time together... I would really like it if you started to come back to bed with me... I've been very lonely recently... and what I've been noticing is that you've almost seemed to be getting irritated more easily recently... and that you've been spending allot of time off on your own.... I love listening to you play the violin... but I also love spending time with you in other ways too." Vixen explained softly as she touched her hand to his cheek and looked into his eyes hers being filled with love and worry for him.

Valefar listened to her and felt his heart break slightly. "I'm neglecting you...that's what you noticed then?" he said and placed his hand over hers softly. "I feel like I'm loosing you...and I don't want that. I love you so much and only want you to be happy. You know I'd do anything to make you happy Vixen. I'm sorry for getting angry easily and for wanting to be alone sometimes...that's who I am though." he said and sighed softly.

"Oh Valefar... you're not loosing me... I was afraid I was loosing you." Vixen said tearfully as she wrapped her arms around Valefar lovingly. "I... I just want to spend more time with you... I've missed spending time with you so much... but I was afraid I was boring you or something." she said and held back a soft sob that wanted to come out as she told him this.

"You will never lose me love. You got me in the palm of your hand...I'm like a puppy I guess you can say. Everywhere you go I'll follow because I'm nothing without you." he said and hugged her tightly. "If you need to cry, go ahead and cry love...it's okay. I promise that we'll spend time together whenever you want. In all honesty, I was going to invite you to bed once...but you were talking to Nixy and I didn't want to interrupt so I went to bed alone. I always want to be with you but sometimes I want to give you your alone time too." he explained.

Vixen smiled some as a few tears rolled down her cheeks as she hugged Valefar lovingly. I would love to go walking with you more often... or sit with you and listen to you play, or just cuddle with you in bed... I've really been missing that." she said softly as she looked up at him and hoped that was okay with him

Looking at her, Valefar wiped away her tears and nodded. "Whatever you want, whenever you want. All you have to do is tell me." he answered and kissed her cheek. "I miss holding you." he whispered and kissed her softly. "Whatever you want...you'll get love. I just want you to be happy again." he added and nuzzled her cheek affectionately.

"I miss you holding me... and though I would love to spend the day just being close to you... I really need to help Son and Sinsuki find somewhere to stay." Vixen said softly before kissing Valefar again then nuzzling his neck lovingly.

Valefar frowned slightly and nodded. "So you're leaving today to do that?" he asked and found himself wrapping his tail around her waist lovingly. "Love... it's not very safe to go out...but if you do go, please be careful okay?" he said and stroke her hair softly.
