Sailor Moon is being remade into a completely new anime, 100% based off the manga! :D

I can't wait! I've been a lifelong fan, and my passion for the series has been rekindled upon being gifted the first tow volumes of the manga :love:

What are your thoughts on this? :3

If it's true to the manga I'd be excited. I love the manga more than the anime so I'm all for it!

I'm currently reading the manga right now, I never read farther than volume 4(in my old tokyopop comics lol) so now thanks to virtual advances, I can read the entire series :D)

I'm on volume 12, and I can't wait to see how they adapt the 30th century and nemesis storyline!

I just found out the news and I'm super exicited about this!

So, what are your thoughts on this? What are you hoping they include? Do you want it to follow the manga more closely? Be more mature like the manga or care free and playful like the anime before it?

How do you know it'll be 100% like the manga? I haven't been able to find any sources stating what the series will include.

I'm so pumped for this! I've been a Sailor Moon fan since I was 4 years old watching it on Global after Care Bears or Batman.

It's prefect timing for them to do this. After all, they've been re-releasing the mangas in English. I just got Vol 6 in the mail today. SO GOOD. <3

i think that the new generation should watch all of our favorite oldies. Lil girls should be watching sailor moon, not the shows on for little girls now ;_;

If I have kids, I'm making them watch old cartoons like Duck Tales, Reboot, Dinosaurs, Sailor Moon, Batman, Inspector Gadget etc

Oh, the manga is so much better! This is definitely something to be excited about!

I've never really been a giant fan of Sailor Moon, but this is the perfect time to get caught up, before the new anime airs.

What I really want to see is if the Amazon Quartet make an appearance as senshi during the Dead Moon Circus arc. In the anime, they only made them enemies who become good at the very end and help the Senshi but in the manga they help Chibi Moon. I wanna see them become Sailor Senshi in the anime and have cool transformation sequences too!!

Either that or Tuxedo Mask doing more than just throwing a rose and saying something slightly inspiring. In the manga, he kicks so much more ass. He needs to man up and do some real fighting.

A totally different arc where the other senshi besides Sailor Moon become Eternal would be cool too. Or just the other senshi achieving their Eternal forms like in the manga would just be plain sweet.

Dangit, I'm getting too excited now.

I really hope they man up Tuxedo Mask cause you're right. He did SO much more in the manga. Like Usagi couldn't use the millennium crystal without him by her side for a good part. And his whole being able to sense things and heal people was explained in the manga too.

Yeah and he had his own attack too!! Tuxedo Smoke Bomber or something like that.

I would also love it if the Shitennou (Four Generals) back in the very first arc were more than just evil, but showed that they were Prince Endymion's guardians.

Oh YEAH! I remember that attack. :3

Yeah, all the characters were just so much more depth to them in the manga.

One thing I hope the anime keeps is Rei's character. She's much more fun in the anime than in the manga.
